About: I have cared for German shepherds, huskies, Great Danes, Shih Tzus and there are no dogs that aren’t welcome with me. All pets are treated like family! I’m currently utilising a lot of holiday so July and August are very free for me to dog sit or dog walk! Happy to multiple walks a day too. I don’t have an enclosed garden but i do have several large fields around us that we walk our own dogs on. I also have a large car, where I frequently travel to national parks by us for longer walks.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I’ve been caring for dogs of all kinds since I was 10, and it’s something that’s always come naturally to me. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like they’re my own. On top of that, I’ve had pets myself throughout the years and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I’ve given them all the love, care, and attention they deserved, and that same compassion carries over to every animal I look after. I also live a very active lifestyle, which means your pet will never be bored with me! Whether it’s going for long walks, jogging, bike, playing in the yard, or just keeping them engaged throughout the day, I’m always ready to match their energy and make sure they’re happy, stimulated, and well exercised. Whether it’s a playful pup or a calm companion, I’m here to give them the care, love and fun they need. I’m an active person and currently on holiday during a school break, so I have a very flexible schedule. With plenty of free time and energy, I’m able to give your pet the attention and companionship they need, whenever they need it. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or full-time care, I’m happy to help and make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At my home, I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play and explore securely. I also have one friendly outdoor cat who’s used to being around other animals and may even offer a bit of extra company to your fur baby. I always provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment, whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours. I’m happy to follow any specific routines, feeding instructions, or training methods to make sure your pet feels right at home. If needed, I can easily crate your dog for naps, nighttime, or whenever you request, it’s all about what makes them feel safe and settled. Whether it’s short-term or extended care, I treat every pet like family- with patience, love, and respect.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, I’ve owned dogs, cats, horses and even geese at one point. I’m a huge animal lover and will treat your pet like I would my own. I’ve looked after my friends and family’s animals whilst they’ve been away and loved every second of it. I’ve looked after rescue dogs, cared for animals that have extra medical needs. I used to volunteer at my local stables and look after horses whilst owners were on holiday. I regularly have my family/ friends pets when they go on holiday. I currently work part time so my schedule is pretty flexible, on my days off I love being outdoors so it would fit in really well to do toilet breaks/ walks for dogs. I have a fully fenced back garden and a gate with a bolt across it. So it’s fully secure. Im an extremely trust worthy individual, I work for the nhs and have worked in the health and social care sector for the past 10 years.

About: I have always had dogs in my life, they are a massive part of my life and I have always been told I am naturally great with them and I am currently at university studying to be a veterinary physiotherapist. I have experience walking, feeding and caring at home as my mum has her own business in the Uk. I also have good knowledge about puppies and care as my mum has bred in the past with my help. On Island I have looked after peoples dogs from my house and their house, I have also done walks and feeding. My family have dogs of our own so I know how important their care is when us owners are away or at work. While I am at home in the summer and holidays I would love to keep doing what I love and caring for these beautiful animals. From October until May I will be studying at Uni so during non study hours I would love to be working with animals. My routine will vary and I will be free on weekends so we can find the best dates and times for you. When looking after a pet in someone else’s home I will ask about where the animal sleeps and eats along with details like how many walks they get, any places they like to go (I have a dog safe car with dog seatbelts) and anything else of importance.

About: Hi there! My name is Athene, I am an experienced animal carer. I have years of experience working with puppies, nervous and reactive dogs. I am trained in many aspects of veterinary care including administering medications, handling dogs with different needs and tolerances, canine behaviour and much more. I hold an up-to-date full canine first aid certificate. I first began my career with dogs, about 2-1/2 years ago, where I was working directly with a broad variety of dog breeds from Chihuahua to Leonbergers , with a vast variety of needs; including human and dog reactive dogs. From this experience I have learnt the behaviour within dogs. I am able to provide the dog what it needs by reading its body language the best that I can. My work experience has taught me that every animal has its own level of tolerance, and I believe allowing the dog to feel safe and comfortable- is first and foremost. If they want cuddles, they will ask... and of course I will be there to welcome them with open arms! I have my own dog, his name is Shadow. He is 2 year old neutered mixed breed whom is a dog loving bundle of love. (Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about him!). Within my house, I have a small sized, completely secure garden, which your dog will have access to. If your were to board your dog with me, overnight I would have your dog sleep in my bedroom with me, and have my dog sleep in the living room (he always sleeps in the living room, so this wont be new to him). This way I can keep a close eye on your dog, and means they are separated at night. I am very luckily to live in a beautiful area of South Yorkshire. I am surrounded by river walks, walking field paths and all-round nature which I thoroughly enjoy walking and the dogs LOVE IT! As mentioned I am able to administer medications, so even if you have a fussy pup, I have been trained on how to administer medication safely and effectively. Please feel free to drop me a message should you have any queries at all. It's important to find a sitter than its right for your pet, and also right for me! So please do not hesitate to ask! I run my business from home, which means I am available Monday - Sunday, at all times of the day. I have no upcoming holidays. If your dog is to stay with me, whether that be daycare or boarding, safety is always first. Your dog will always be feed separately from mine, including medications. Walks can also be separate, should that be necessary and/or at your request. Your pets requirements, should be communicated between you and I to ensure your pets has the best and most comfortable time! Your dogs well-being and safety will be the top priority, every-time without question. I have enzymatic urine cleaner after every stay, to eliminate any smell of any previous dog urine should there be any. I have two medium/large dog beds, including a medium sized crate should your dog need. If you have any special requirements please do not hesitate to ask, and if I can accommodate- I will!

“Super walker, managed to cover a dog walk as really short notice. Great communication”

About: I have had various different pets from being around 4 years old. I am very friendly and have always treated animals with care and respect and given them what they need. I can walk larger dogs as well as smaller dogs and can walk them for as much time required and would be happy to care for them when the owner is not always able to due to other commitments. I am also very confident in my ability to care for animals. We have an almost 4 year old Patterdale x Welsh Terrier called Nala who is our world! 🐶 I have plenty of free time to care for your pets as I am currently working from home full time! I take Nala on a daily walk of around 1 hour. We have a large fenced garden which is perfect for running and playing around. I have a lot of free time for Nala to make sure she’s getting everything that she needs.

About: I have been around dogs since I was a child. Growing up I was always the first to volunteer to help walk our neighbours dogs. My two dogs are both rescue dogs and so can tend to be scared at times so I am used to reactive behaviour. We also undertook some dog training so I have picked up some useful tips from that. I am currently a full time uni student, but still have plenary of time to care after dogs. I am available all weekends and weekdays apart from Tuesdays and Thursdays for which I am available after 2pm. I’ve had pets my entire life and for the past year, I’ve started caring for others in addition to my own. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds.

About: I am a genuine life-long lover of dogs and all animals. For the last 11 years I have focussed on raising my 4 children, but they are now at school, giving me some extra time. We own a 2-year-old Flat Coated Retriever, Cola, who adores the company of friendly dogs. In addition we have 2 cats and 2 rabbits at home. Since October 2023, we have fostered for a charity called Canine Partners who train dogs to become assistants to disabled adults. Whilst this experience has been a joy, we would now like to invite dogs into our home on a not purely voluntary basis. As a dog day care provider, I can deliver exactly the same lifestyle that I give to our dog Cola. This includes plentiful company at our spacious house and garden, a variety of countryside walks from our doorstep or within a 10 minute drive, and enrichment through games and toys. I take pride in giving Cola her ‘best life’ and would treat any guest dogs as my own whilst in my care. Please note that I leave the house for school runs and occasionally other brief engagements, but never for very long. My focus will be looking after your dog(s) alongside my family. Drop off and pick up times can be arranged to suit you, and updates and photos can be provided to give you peace of mind whilst dogs are in my care. I will only have dogs from a maximum of 2 families at our home at any one time, thus not creating a pack of dogs. In this way, I can guarantee each dog gets ample attention in a safe environment that feels exactly like a home-from-home. Ideally, I would like to recruit just a few regular day care dogs, who become part of our family during the time they are with us. I am also excited to offer dog walking services. These responsibilities will be taken on to fit around any dog day care commitments, not detracting from them.

“Thanks a million as always. Always nice to know you look after him with the care you give him. X Owner of crazy big Dalmatian!”

“I've trusted Reiss with my dog multiple times, and I can honestly say there's no one else I’d rather leave them with. He treats every dog like part of the family, and you can tell right away how much love and care goes into everything he does. What makes it even better is that Reiss works from home most of the time and has school holidays off, so the dogs are never left alone for long stretches. My pup always gets tons of attention, playtime, and love – and even makes friends with his own two dogs, a sweet German Shepherd and an elderly Shih Tzu, who are both incredibly friendly and well-socialised. It's such a relief knowing my dog is not only safe, but genuinely happy while I’m away. I’d highly recommend Reiss to anyone looking for a reliable, fun, and experienced dog sitter or boarder!”

“Elle is extremely friendly and reliable, she has my dog regularly whilst I’m away and also does drop in visits and takes him out for walks. He’s always so tired when he comes home so I know she’s been for a long walk with him, she’ll let me know which route they’ve taken/ how many miles. If he had any issues on the walk. He loves having sleepovers at Elle’s house as she also has a child and my dog loves kids and I know Elle’s child is a huge animal lover too so she spoils him with love and cuddles! I trust her with my most prized possession and she’s not once made me question her. She’s amazing and I’d highly recommend.”

Mia J.
“Mia is a very caring and loving individual who would put great dedication and passion into the care of your pets. She has always loved dogs and she gives off such positive energy when she’s around them. Mia has spent time with my own dogs on multiple occasions and shown nothing but love towards them and I would trust her completely to take them into her care.”

“Olivia is a lovely human and a wonderful dog owner! She regularly looked after and cared for our dog Roxy and stayed with her through the summer. She is responsible and takes into account and actions anything you ask of her.”

“Cassie absolutely loves going to stay at Kate's! I used to feel guilty about going away, but now that we've found Kate I feel guilty about taking her back home again! Kate has such a lovely house and garden and the dogs seem to settle in straightaway into her family life. Cassie loves her children, who are clearly brilliant with dogs, and she gets so excited when she realises she's going to see them again! Communication has been great. Overall couldn't recommend Kate more!”

As well as this I am studying an animal management course where I have had exams on the care of rodents, livestock, birds, aquatics and reptiles in which I have gotten distinctions in all :)) I do my best to give an animal what they want and need at the given pace they choose so that they can be as happy as can be :D Animal care is something I do multiple days of the week, which I work around my part time job. Whereas pet care is daily for me as I have my own cat :D I always start with necessities like food and drink, unless the animal in particular works best being fed after for example. Treats are also included if pets have some snacks/treats at given times of the day or if I need to do work with them.

About: I’m a big dog lover and have grown up around dogs my whole life. My family doesn’t have dogs anymore and I want to fill my life with more furry friends. I am working part time with a little bit of remote work and am looking to fill my week with outside activity, preferably walking pups in the spring sunshine! I have a fenced garden and a large park just 5 minutes from my home. My family home is small so I’ll be able to keep my eyes on your dog easily
