About: Hi I’m Becky! I’m a teacher who lives in Suffolk and I’d love to help you take care of your dogs! I have a wide range of experience with dogs, including golden retrievers, beagles and spaniels to name a few. I’ve always had a soft spot for the big friendly giants of the dog world but ultimately, I love them all. I have house-sat and cared for many family pets, including litters of puppies and elderly dogs on multiple occasions. Being a teacher means that I’m available in blocks of time for house sitting during half terms but depending on your location, this can be arranged for during term time too. This also applies to drop-in sessions and walking. During term time, I am mostly always free on Saturdays but during half terms, this can be any day. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions. Thanks! Saturdays are your best days to get me! Depending on your location, I can be available in the evenings on weekdays. School holidays will be when I’m available pretty much all day every day for all services! I care about the wellbeing of all animals and so their safety and happiness will always come first. In your home, I will be following the same rules you have for your pet to make sure they are settled and not little rascals by the time you get back to them! On walks, I will keep dogs on a lead unless you are very confident in their recall. If your furry friends have any medical needs to keep them healthy, I will stick to their routine/diet/medication times to make sure they are as happy and healthy as they are with their humans.

About: I have had numerous dogs with me over the last 25 years and am happy to look after multiple dogs alongside my Labrador, Conan. I have experience with puppies up to senior dogs and medication administration. I live in a rural area with plenty of safe walks and a large garden to run around in. I dog sit on my time off shift so they get my full attention the whole time they are with me. I work shift work which affords me extended periods of time off work. During this time I am with my Labrador and have plenty of time to dog sit. I have a safe home that is dog friendly with a large secure garden to run around in. There is locked gates preventing access to the road. Our dogs are part of the family and with us the whole time.

About: I studied animals in Writtle college (work based animal studies level 2). I spent a year working in a doggy daycare and a few months working in a greyhound training kennel with over 200 dogs to take care of. As a child, I helped raise many Italian greyhound puppies because my mother used to breed them. I volunteer at a care farm in the Colchester area every Friday. I have dog walking insurance. I am available most of the time apart from Friday daytime and parts of Sunday when I'm at church. Any other commitments in my life can be moved around to fit in with your schedule. I have a 6 ft fenced garden although my flat does not go directly to it. I primarily work as a dog walker but would consider looking after your pets at my home. I do not smoke or vape and take the safety of your dogs very seriously. My flat is a good size and would therefore be suitable for larger dogs as well as small which would be well entertained and let outside regularly as well as walked.

About: Hi, I’m Angela, I’m 32yrs old and live in Monks Eleigh. I have recently developed this new found love of mine into RIO’s RETREAT SUFFOLK which I run alongside Rover. If you would like details of Rio’s retreat Suffolk please let me know or check out our website. I am fully licensed & insured. I have updated my profile to enable a better insight into what I do & who I am. I have recently left the police having worked as a police officer in London. I have gone back into health care to enable a better work life balance and to do what I love… be with animals. I grew up on a small holding with a range of livestock & cattle. I was lucky enough to grow up with and around gun dogs who I just adore; the crazier the better 😂. WHY IM DOING THIS I started rover to fill a void, I left an abusive marriage which resulted in my horse & dog being given away. I missed animals & being outside so I started rover hoping to meet a few pups. I have been extremely lucky & grateful to meet some amazing families and their lovely fluffy friends. I never expected to be as busy as I have been and I couldn’t ask for kinder people to welcome me into their homes. Whilst looking after your animals I only ever have one animal boarding at a time. I also only do solo dog walks. I’m not interested in over filling my home or putting dogs at risk by walking 10 at a time just to make money. Your animal is purely my priority and has all my time and attention. I’m more than happy to take your pets out for long walks, drive to parks, vet checks ect. No preferences or needs are too big or too small, Even just throw a ball and have lots of cuddles. I had a cocker spaniel and as long as he had his ball and his mum that’s all he needed :) MY PETS I am very lucky to have the sweetest & kindest Labrador who was kindly rehomed to me through rover. She loves people & dogs more then anything but if your dog boards with us we have arrangements in place if your dog cannot be kept with other dogs. I also have rescue cats & Guinea pigs who are out the way of staying pets. SO WHY AM I DOING THIS? I love long walks, muddy paws and slobbery kisses more than anyone could imagine. I adore animals, I am a very patient and sensible person, so whatever your pet or their personality, we will get along just fine. I’m happy for regular updates and perfectionist owners who want to leave me lists (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this haha) Please feel free to ask me any questions. I am fully DBS checked & have full public liability cover. I have currently changed jobs so I now only work a couple of nights a week. I take leave for the nights I have the pleasure of looking after your animals. Your animals will be treated like royalty, animals have been a huge part of my life and my life has always revolved around them. There is always plenty of cuddles, play time or chill time whatever they prefer. I’m more than happy to drive to parks or forests for a variety to their life, it will be my pleasure to exercise your animals for you. I am also public liability insured.

About: Looking for someone truly exceptional to care for your beloved pet? Look no further! As a self-employed pet professional, my aim is to make this much more than just a job; it's about providing the best life for my family, and that dedication shines through in every aspect of my work. With a DBS check, full insurance, and a stack of 5-star reviews from happy clients across multiple platforms (not just on Rover), you can rest assured your furry friend is in the safest hands. My passion for animals runs deep. Before dedicating my life to pet care here, I spent invaluable time working at Ukutula, a lion sanctuary in South Africa. There, I provided round-the-clock care to critically endangered animals, including lions, tigers, zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs. Imagine bottle-feeding lion cubs, helping them through the weaning process, and educating the public about their complex needs – that's the level of dedication and expertise I bring to every pet I care for. My background as a former primary school teacher further reinforces my trustworthiness and ability to provide a nurturing, responsible environment. My personal experience with animals is just as rich. I'm the proud owner of Harry, my rescue cat, whom I found, nursed back to health from an underweight, flea-ridden state, and provided urgent medical care. He's now 8 years old and flourishing! My own experience extends to having owned a springer spaniel and a greyhound, and I've had the pleasure of caring for a diverse range of breeds, including Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Cavapoos, Huskies, Border Collies, a Chihuahua, and many different cats. You can often find me at Crufts and other dog shows, learning new and exciting ways to engage your dog, and I have an extensive library of books dedicated to dog care, breeding, genetics, diet, and dog training (including assistance dog training). I am always growing and learning new things in order to successfully care for and nurture your pets. For the past two years, I've built a solid 5-star reputation on BorrowMyDoggy, another dog care website, consistently earning the trust of local owners to care for their dogs in their absence. Whether your dog needs an adventurous walk, your cat requires loving in-home care, or you're looking for a reliable pet sitter in your own home, I offer a range of services tailored to your needs. My drop-in visits are perfect for puppies who need extra attention or dogs who thrive on consistent check-ins. My unique background means I'm not just a pet sitter; I'm a seasoned animal professional who understands diverse animal behaviors and needs. I'm committed to providing your pet with the highest standard of care, ensuring they're happy, healthy, and loved while you're away. Ready to give your pet the exceptional care they deserve? Let's chat! Unlike other carers who may consider petsitting to be a side hustle, my high level of care and dedication to your animals is my number 1 priority. I'm a dedicated self-employed dog walker, pet sitter, and professional cat and dog carer. I'm working towards building a successful petcare business so that I can dedicate myself 100% to the care of your pets, and ultimately, give my primary school aged daughter a better life (a mum who is home all day caring for your precious pets instead of stuck at the office!). Unlike other carers who may consider petsitting to be a side hustle, my high level of care and dedication to your animals is my number 1 priority. When you choose me, you're choosing someone who can dedicate all their time and energy into loving, caring for, and understanding your every pet's need. I have a full library of dog training (including assistance dog training) manuals, breed specific dog care books, puppy care books, dog encyclopaedias, and cat care books that I read daily and my knowledge is growing exponentially through my dedication to animal husbandry, dog training, and cat care. Should there ever be problem with your pet under my care, I have access to the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers as well as multiple professional petcare networks for me to consult so that I can not only take better care of your pet, but also advise you on next steps. I'm available for dog walking Monday - Friday 9am - 2.30pm, and on evenings and weekends by request - ideal for those of you who are working and too busy for your buddy! For petsitting in your home, drop-ins, and dog training, I can be more flexible to fit your schedule - so just go ahead and ask. ABOUT ME I'm a former primary school teacher and I'm fully DBS checked - so your animals will be safely cared for under my watchful eye, wherever they are. Prior to training as a teacher, I worked in South Africa at Ukutula Lion Sanctuary, where I dedicated my life to the care of lions, cheetahs, tigers, giraffes, zebras and many other wild animals. I bottle fed lion cubs that had been abandoned by their mothers, nursed sick animals, and weaned the cubs onto meat once they were old enough, so that they could be rehabilitated and given a better life, safe from poachers at the sanctuary. Later, in Sri Lanka, I worked as an investigative journalist, assessing the care of elephants in the nation's elephant sanctuaries and zoos - and published my findings in The Sunday Island, the national newspaper of Sri Lanka. Disturbed by what I found, I reported the dank, concrete boxes that the animals were being kept in to the UK charity Born Free - who, a year later, rescued a lion and a black panther from their horrific conditions. After returning back to the UK, and finding that jobs for the zoologically inclined were few and far between, I trained as a primary school teacher. After a few years of teaching, my need to write called to me, and I fell back into journalism, PR, and marketing... but the love for animals never faded. I began dog walking and petsitting on BorrowMyDoggy for free for people in my local community - and I felt so much JOY from working with animals again. Friends and family began to ask me - and pay me - to care for their animals, and recommended me to their friends too. Now, I'm a dedicated self-employed pet professional, so your pet's care is my number 1 priority. YOUR PET'S SAFETY IS MY PRIORITY iPet Level 3 Dog First Aid qualified (coming soon) Fully insured 5 star reviews (on other sites, not just Rover) Experienced former animal sanctuary worker GPS tracking during dog walks Your dog is kept on-lead at all times (unless you give permission otherwise) RELIABLE, HONEST SERVICE If you choose me for dog walking, drop ins, or pet sitting within your own home, you can rest assured that I am fully insured to do so through my business insurance. My insurance also covers me for keys left in my care, meaning you do not need to be home in order for me to help your pets - just leave a key in a safe place (e.g. with a neighbour) and I will return it safely. If inviting me into your home I fully understand that it feels strange to have someone visit. However, I am not at all interested in anything other than your pets (I'm not interested in your personal belongings - and I wouldn't want to risk my business reputation). I've visited many homes when I worked for free via BorrowMyDoggy, and owners there trust me enough to just walk in when they are not home. When I walk your dog, especially for the first time, I can share my location data with you to give you peace of mind about where I have taken your dog. As my business expands, I will be investing in GPS trackers that I can place on your dog, just for additional safety and security. Should you wish to see any identification, please don't hesitate to ask. DOG TRAINING SESSIONS Also available when you book direct - just ask for details! BOARDING WITH ME ***Coming soon!*** Due to popular demand, I will be applying for all appropriate business licences and certifications to open my own home boarding business. I've been doing this for free for a couple of years via BorrowMyDoggy, but it's time to move on and find the perfect location to run this from. Please stay tuned for updates!

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have gained some great experience over the years. I’ve worked with trained search dogs, which taught me a lot about understanding different behaviours and building trust. I also volunteer at a local rehoming centre, helping care for dogs with all kinds of personalities. At home, I have two lively cocker spaniels who keep me on my toes and remind me how important it is to give each pet the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I really enjoy making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well looked after I work part-time from home with a flexible shift pattern, so it’s easy for me to fit pet care around my schedule. I make sure any bookings get my full attention, and I love having animals as part of my daily routine. I offer drop-in visits to make sure pets are happy and well looked after in their own home. I’ll follow their normal routine — whether that’s feeding, topping up water, letting them out for a toilet break, or just giving them some company and attention. I always aim to keep things calm and reassuring, especially if a pet is shy or nervous. Every visit is tailored to what your pet needs to feel safe and settled while you’re away.

About: Hello, I have been passionate about dogs since I was little. I grew up with my first German Shorthaired Pointer, alongside two other dogs, and now have two of my own Baloo and Olive who absolutely adore playing with other dogs. I have experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments, from small dogs to large and working breeds, including reactive dogs. Outside of Rover, I run my own dog walking and pet services business (Barks & Pals findable on Facebook) I am fully insured, enhanced DBS checked, and CPD-accredited in CPR pet first aid, as well as CPD accredited in canine body language, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe and capable hands. My partner and I live in a small town in Suffolk, surrounded by fields, woodlands, and parks perfect for long, enriching walks. At home, dogs have free roam of the downstairs, are welcome on the furniture, and can enjoy a secure, fenced garden to play and relax in. I always recommend a meet and greet before any bookings it's a great way to ensure all dogs get along and gives you the chance to see our home and meet us in person. I also provide forms to be filled out during the meet and greet for insurance and safety purposes, so I can give your dog the best and most tailored care possible. Leila x Schedule : wake up, potty break, breakfast, or walk first then breakfast. Enrichment play, wind down time, another walk, some play time. All of the above can be tailored to the dogs needs and changed around. Safety & environment : Dogs are allowed free roam of the downstairs, welcomed on furniture and a fenced garden to get out and run around (always under supervision of course)

About: I have been brought up around both cats and dogs since I was born, both small and big dogs; therefore I have great experience with all types of dogs. I enjoy exercise therefore this will be a good benefit for both me and you, getting both me and your pet the best walk. I am also a bit of a giant so any size dog is good for me to walk as none of them can overcome me and run off. I currently work shift work in care and I need a few extra hours a week/day to be able to top up my payslip a little I will be looking after in your own home, therefore they are comfortable in their own space and I will ensure that they are comfortable with me being in their space

I had such a great experience dealing with Jamima. Great communication, flexible and helpful with arranging walks for my dog Whisky. I was confident he was in safe hands the whole time. Would 100% book Jamima again!

Becky has stayed in our house to look after our dogs several times even when we had 7 beagles at one point. She has been great with them every time and has stuck to keeping the dogs routine exactly as we’ve asked. She’s great at keeping up with their walks and is confident taking them out on her own. A couple of our dogs had dietary needs and also were medicated for certain things which she took in her stride no problem. She’s also looked after our litters of puppies on a couple of occasions from when they were only two weeks old and again when they were around the 7/8 week mark. She has always left our house exactly as we left it to her so we’ve never had to worry about the house or dogs.

Really impressed with Oliver and would have zero hesitations recommending him. I was very wary to let someone else take care of my pets but Oliver was a lovely and friendly carer for my dogs and I felt totally at ease to let him sit my dogs.

Hi Rover.Com, Tobias H has been walking our chocolate Labrador once a week since December 2023. He is very reliable and trustworthy so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as a dog walker. He has a qualification in work based animal studies, level 2, which ads knowledge to his interest in all animals including dogs. I’m sure he will do very well expanding his dog walking activities. Hi there, I'm Martins wife and he's asked me to tell you a bit about him and why he would be ideal to look after your pets. We have 2 dogs of our own and come rain or shine Martin is always out on a walk and entertaining them. He is fastidious when it comes to their safety and will administer medication and follow any instructions to the letter. He's a great pet owner and your pets could not be in any better hands.

Cat is so kind and caring. You can see how much she understands animal behaviour and how much time and attention she gives to the animals she cares for. She looked after my Golden Retriever and she was fab from start to finish. Would 100% use again, especially if you have a Golden or Labrador!

Lucy is a caring and thoughtful young lady, she has great punctuality and attention to detail. She has been both a ‘cat-sitter’ and dog walker for my family and when undergoing these jobs she had no issue bonding with our pets and making sure all their needs were attended to. Definitely would recommend her for your pets.
