About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my experience with a wide range of dogs — from playful puppies to anxious rescues and foster dogs learning to trust again. I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where every dog feels safe and understood. Over time, I’ve built long-term relationships with my clients because they know they can count on me for reliable, compassionate care and clear communication. Every dog I look after becomes part of my extended family. I am looking for work to pay off my student loans, and I am very hard working. I am currently working part time and can walk in the morning and at night! I’m available all days of the week and the weekends. Whether caring for pets in my own home or in my clients’ homes, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment that feels just like family. I carefully follow each pet’s routine — from feeding and walks to medications and playtime — ensuring consistency and comfort. I’m patient and attentive, especially with anxious, young, or foster dogs, and I take time to build trust through gentle care and understanding. Communication is a top priority, so pet parents receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, secure, and well-loved while they’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life as my family has always had dogs so I love dogs and know how to take care of them The only commitment I have is taking my sister to cheer on tuesday and thursday nights but I am completely free other than that so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs I have a lot of experience with younger dogs and so I am used to putting pups in crates if needed and making sure they are completely safe before going outside

Ashley was fantastic - our 2 pups were very well cared for, happy (one goes on a hunger strike usually – so we know she did well as she ate her food🤡) - she sent regular pics & updates. Too, she was incredibly flexible with our schedule – we had a last-minute realtor who wanted to do a showing, and Ashley was very accommodating, quickly tidying our place and taking the dogs out of the home for the showing. Would highly recommend - thank you!

About: I stand out because I treat every pet like family. I have several years of experience caring for dogs🐾 and understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. I am patient, reliable, and attentive, whether it’s going for walks, feeding, playtime, or providing companionship. I am comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I always make sure owners receive regular updates and photos for peace of mind. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.🐾🐶 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m consistent, responsible,🐾 and used to working around animals’ needs. With dog care specifically, I plan my day around their schedule—morning walks, feeding, bathroom breaks, and making sure they start the day active and comfortable. I make time during the day to check on them, give water, and provide attention or short play sessions so they stay calm and don’t get bored. In the evening, I keep a structured routine with feeding, another walk, and a final bathroom break before bedtime. I also use that time for basic care like cleaning up after them and making sure they’re safe and settled for the night. Weekly, I stay on top of things like cleaning food and water bowls, picking up waste consistently, and making sure the dog stays healthy, active, and well cared for. I’m reliable with routines, so I can keep a dog’s schedule stable, which helps them feel secure and well behaved. I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, trust, and respecting the environment they are in. In a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions closely so the dog stays in a familiar routine and feels comfortable. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times to prevent escapes, and I supervise dogs during walks, feeding, and playtime. I keep the environment clean by picking up after the dog immediately, making sure food and water bowls are clean, and preventing anything unsafe from being left within reach. I also pay attention to the dog’s behavior so I can quickly notice if something seems off or if they need extra care or attention. Most importantly, I treat the client’s home with respect—keeping things organized, locking up properly, and making sure everything is left as it was or cleaner. I aim to build trust by being reliable, responsible, and consistent so both the pet and owner feel safe and comfortable with me.🐶

About: Raised and cared for dogs and cats my whole life—trusted, attentive, and reliable, treating every dog or cat like family while ensuring comfort, safety, and happiness at all times. I work from home in medical billing, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. With a supportive household, there is always someone available to provide care, attention, and a safe, loving environment for pets. I do not have a fenced yard; however, I ensure dogs remain active and engaged through multiple daily walks. For safety, my dogs are crate-trained, and I can accommodate crating or separation as needed. I am happy to provide slow, supervised introductions or keep pets separated at all times to match your comfort level. I prioritize supervision, structure, and maintaining a calm, loving environment for every dog in my care.

Marriah is simply incredible at caring for high-needs pets. This was my first experience using an app for an overnight in-home house-sitter for my 14yo yorkie. Our dog has a strict prescription diet for cushings disease and requires gentle, attentive and near constant care. Marriah was professional, cheerful, patient and supportive throughout the 8 days she stayed with our little old lady. I was amazed how Marriah hand fed our dog and got her comfortable and eating again even while she was moping and sad from being left behind. Marriah sent so many pictures and updates on how our girl was doing and I felt so safe leaving my smallest family member in her hands. She is worth every dollar and I would recommend Marriah to anyone looking for an experienced and compassionate caregiver for any kind of service from walks to overnight care. We will definitely ask for her again!

About: I've rescued four senior dogs and have done a lot of work to rehabilitate them physically and mentally. (one dog in home currently) I would love to come walk your fur child if you can't get home from work on time or if you need an overnight care situation - I got you! I keep your dog separate from my dog always, just to avoid any accidents! Currently working full time so I'm available after hours or weekends only. Would love to do a drop in at your place or an overnight if you needed, too. I live in a condo so I'm only able to visit you for drop-ins or sitting/walking services. I know when I go out of town, I hope to find someone just like me to care for my babes. You can trust I'll spend the time and share the most love.

About: I have worked with and been around all kinds of pets my entire life. I have owned many different kinds of dogs including high energy breeds. My father uses cocker spaniels, brittanys, and labradors to hunt. When he wasn't hunting with them, I trained and took care of them. We even bred out labradors. I also have a good amount of experience with cats and a great deal of experience with horses. I know horses have nothing to do with this, BUT if I can take care of a half ton heard animal I can definitely handle your high energy doodle! At the moment, I am very free to take care of your pet everyday. Once a day tues-sun i have to go to the barn to ride my horses. I wont be gone more than 4 hours to do that. My days will get busier around fall and I am occasionally away at horse shows. I live in a cozy yet spacious apartment. Kept organized and clean. Perfect for cats or the mild energy dog. I dont have a fenced yard so if your dog needs free range that is something i cant provide day to day. But I can always bring them to dog parks or sniff spots if that is something you would like. I can provide twice daily walks or more if needed. *********IMPORTANT: My dog (Luca) is susceptible to parasites, especially giardia. He is on preventative and has all his vaccinations , but I cannot allow or take on UNVACCINATED or UNPROTECTED pets. I can’t take a dog that is showing any signs or symptoms of a parasite or other illness. If your dog is vomiting or has loose stool and diarrhea, please contact your vet because they could be a great danger to others they may encounter. Please make sure your dog is perfectly healthy before requesting any kind of boarding. Please be responsible, truthful, and honorable when booking sitting or boarding for your dog. Thank you! ***********

FAQs for House Sitting - Twentymile Bend

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 1,938 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Twentymile Bend. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Twentymile Bend walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Twentymile Bend maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Twentymile Bend choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Twentymile Bend. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
