I’m Tamara, and if your pet stays with me, they’ll be treated like family from the moment they walk through the door. ❤️ I’ve always had a soft spot for animals, and getting to care for them honestly doesn’t feel like work to me. Every pet has their own little personality, routines, and quirks, and I love getting to know what makes each one happy. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, or would rather spend the day snuggled up on the couch, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. When you’re away, my goal is to make your pet feel as safe, loved, and stress-free as possible. I stick closely to their normal routine, follow every instruction carefully, and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and exercise based on their individual needs. Since I’m home often, I’m also able to provide companionship and make sure pets aren’t left alone for long periods of time while their owners are away! I have a large fenced yard with plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, play, and enrichment while still making sure each pet’s safety comes first. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect I would want for my own. I keep their routine consistent, follow instructions carefully, and make sure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment. I believe good pet care is about being attentive, patient, and proactive. About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs, I've developed a deep understanding and love for them from an early age! I cared for my own dog until I was 14 and have since looked after many dogs of family and friends. I’m excited to offer my expertise and passion to help those in need, with very flexible hours on my free days! Whether it's taking care of puppies or providing attentive care for senior dogs, I am dedicated to ensuring every dog receives the best possible care! I just graduated from UM! I am currently back in Wellington submitting applications for a masters program. While I am not petsitting, I am babysitting children from ages 1-10 and gaining patient care hours with doctors and PAs to gain more experience in the medical field. My schedule for these jobs are constantly changing, so I will be sure to keep my calendar updated! I love staying productive during my day, and taking care of dogs while helping their owners seems like a perfect way to do that. I’d enjoy having some extra company during my off days and I am happy to offer flexible dog care hours to fit your schedule. Although I don't currently have any dogs of my own, I do have a spacious fenced yard where your dog can happily roam around. I only care for one pet owner’s dog(s) at a time, ensuring your pet receives my undivided attention and full care. Additionally, there's a pool available for supervised playtime, with your consent! If your dog prefers indoor activities or needs a break from the sun, my home offers ample space for indoor play and relaxation. If there is a specific routine you want your dog to follow, i will happily follow up with it and make sure your dog feels like they’re at home. Rest assured, your dog will receive my undivided attention and plenty of fun while in my care. :)

About: I have worked with and been around all kinds of pets my entire life. I have owned many different kinds of dogs including high energy breeds. My father uses cocker spaniels, brittanys, and labradors to hunt. When he wasn't hunting with them, I trained and took care of them. We even bred out labradors. I also have a good amount of experience with cats and a great deal of experience with horses. I know horses have nothing to do with this, BUT if I can take care of a half ton heard animal I can definitely handle your high energy doodle! At the moment, I am very free to take care of your pet everyday. Once a day tues-sun i have to go to the barn to ride my horses. I wont be gone more than 4 hours to do that. My days will get busier around fall and I am occasionally away at horse shows. I live in a cozy yet spacious apartment. Kept organized and clean. Perfect for cats or the mild energy dog. I dont have a fenced yard so if your dog needs free range that is something i cant provide day to day. But I can always bring them to dog parks or sniff spots if that is something you would like. I can provide twice daily walks or more if needed. *********IMPORTANT: My dog (Luca) is susceptible to parasites, especially giardia. He is on preventative and has all his vaccinations , but I cannot allow or take on UNVACCINATED or UNPROTECTED pets. I can’t take a dog that is showing any signs or symptoms of a parasite or other illness. If your dog is vomiting or has loose stool and diarrhea, please contact your vet because they could be a great danger to others they may encounter. Please make sure your dog is perfectly healthy before requesting any kind of boarding. Please be responsible, truthful, and honorable when booking sitting or boarding for your dog. About: I’ve had pets my entire life. When I turned 18 I adopted my Frodo, a fox hound who lived to be 19. I cared for him through his old age and had to carry him up & down the stairs for the last few years of his life as he had degenerative disk disease. I have foster dogs frequently and I will treat your baby as I would my own. We go regularly to the dog parks to socialize aside from playing in our own back yard. Your pet will be safe, happy and loved while you are away and you will be updated at least once every 4 hours with pictures. I am a teacher so I am free to be home with your pet all day long during the summer and school vacations. Aside from that I am free all weekends and evenings. During our time together your pup will have walks as often as you request, can run free in the yard, will be fed according to your schedule, can swim in the pool, and will be cuddled as much as your pup wants. For cats, I tailor my care to the individual cat based on your requests and your cat’s preferences. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a back yard that is fenced with a pool. Your baby can have the run of my house or can crate if that’s what you normally do. My goal is to keep your pets routine as normal as possible while you are gone so my care will be tailored to your requests. I am a teacher, so I am home all summer, school, vacations, and weekends. I am also home in the evenings. During the normal school year, I am gone for 8 hours out of the day. If the calendar says I am available then that means your pup will be the center of attention during that time. I have a fenced backyard where your pup can roam or a crate if that is what they prefer. They can have the run of my house or a sweet spot on the couch. Keeping your pets normal routine is key.

“Tammy is an amazing puppy sitter! She was very understanding and accomodating when I told her it will be hard for me to find a parking spot to drop off Trixie in the AM before work. She offered to come pick her up at 6:30 AM! She was punctual and showed up at my door on time with a dog carrier. I handed Trixie over to her and had confidence that my puppy was in good hands. I was able then to drive to my train station and get to work on time. Upon meeting Tammy, you get a sense of security and peace of mind. She is super nice, flexible and updated me with lots of photos of Trixie throughout the day. She has an adorable Havanese puppy Warby who is ridiculously adorable. She followed my instructions and actually gave me some good advice in training Trixie to use the pad. I would use Tammy again in the furture and highly recommend her if you need a dog nanny for a day or while on vacation. She is wlling to go out of her way to make your life less stressful, and she is just genuinely a very nice, kind person. Trixie came home happy and tired after a long day with Tammy!”
