Brittney was amazing! She was so flexible with our last min cancelling and then rebooking again (multiple times) She was patient and attentive to our elderly dog’s needs, but also gave our high energy dog a lot of attention. Our dogs really love her and I will not think twice about using her services again!

You can rest at ease with your family member in my care! Taking care of many different kinds of animals has been a major part of my life, twenty four / seven / three sixty five, for my entire life. I treat your home as my own- meaning I don’t just do the tasks, I COMPLETE THEM. ie. washing up sleeping and eating areas, cleaning toys, apparel, dishes. Etc.

I’ve cared for dogs with different energy levels and temperaments, and I understand that every pet has unique needs. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight care, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I pay close attention to routines, follow instructions carefully, and provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to meeting your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals. I’m able to build my schedule around walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting, making sure I’m consistent and reliable for each pet I care for. Emma was fantastic! My dog loves her probably more than he loves me and despite being a bit of a grump and very stubborn, she was able to do everything we asked, get him to behave and take admirable care of our boy. I bet he’s looking forward to the next time we travel just so he can see her again! We’ll be calling you soon Emma, thank you!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
