I am a University student and will be leaving Wilmington on July 10th. However I do regularly return for holidays and will be back in December. I am a very diligent caretaker always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary!

“I was nervous at first since this was my first time leaving Cheeto alone. Maggie is the best! She was super patient with him and he warmed up to her quick. I would definitely trust her to watch my fur baby again.”

“Amy was the BEST babysitter we could have imagined. Our bear got his name because he can be a bear with new people and get very reactive. Amy came over before the stay multiple times to meet him and let him smell her good and get to know her. We had complete confidence leaving our boy with her after that. The first visit he was a little hesitant but by the second he was playing happy and LOVED her. We will not hesitate to call her again.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs and just recently adopted my cat Douglas shortly after moving from home. Although he provides all the love I need, I do miss all my family dogs presence! I currently work full-time, but would love to make myself available for more interaction with pets! I am available for outdoor walks and pet check-ins! I do not offer anything in my home because I'm not too sure how my cat Douglas would respond ... and he runs the house.

“I couldn’t have asked for someone better!! Aj did such a fantastic job with our 3 cats. She was always sending the cutest updates and pictures when she dropped in. She made sure they got in lots of play time on her visits and was always on top of the food, water and litter boxes.”

“Debbie is very reliable, professional, and kind! It’s so nice knowing that my dog is happy and cared for on drop-in visit days. Debbie leaves cute and detailed notes, and my dog loves her. Thank you!”

About: When I was born my mom and dad had 2 dogs, Petey and Jersey. A jack Russel and a Border Collie, I grew up with them and they grew up with me. There was never a time after them that we didn’t have at least 1 dog in the house at all times, most of the time it was 2 dogs and 2 cats. Sometimes it was more sometimes it was less. I’ve helped raise countless puppies and watched many dogs grow old. I’ve taught many puppies how to sit, potty correctly, I’ve bathed and dried. I’ve played with them for hours on end and most importantly gave them all the required attention. I love dogs so much, it is my genuine favorite thing to spend time with dogs. I currently work 4 am - 1 pm, so any time after 1 pm and on my lunches I am available for dog walking and drop ins. On Wednesday and Thursday I am off of work and am available for house sitting. I do not care for dogs in my home but with certain circumstances I may be able to care for your cat, if need be they would be in one of our 2 bedrooms.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.
