“My little girl was taken care of and got to stretch her legs mid day! Definitely gave me so much peace of mind to have such a kind hearted person care for my best friend.”

“Joseph was incredible to our sweet old girl Moxie! He was loving and sweet to her and always updated me if anything was different for Moxie that day. He was dependable and consistent and we were so thankful that she got to go on walks every day in the middle of the day. We are so grateful for Joseph!”

“Averi was amazing! She took such good care of our fur babies. She spoiled them with cat tv and lots of wet food. We would love to use her again - Highly recommend!”

About: I have had a passion for animals since I was little, often playing vet or zookeeper with the stuffed animals in my home (my real pets weren't as patient playing pretend). Growing up, I helped care for 4 cats and 2 dogs, one Border Collie with high energy and consistent exercise, and a Pomeranian with special needs. During college, I became an animal foster with my local humane society, taking in a total of 4 dogs and 3 cats during my undergraduate years, all with their own special exercise, dietary, and medical needs. I have previously worked locally for several pet services and am happy to provide any references you'd like. I finally decided to get a furry friend of my own, and adopted my dog Willow during the pandemic in 2020. She is my my whole world, and I'll make sure to love and care for your pets as if they were my own. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or need more information about my services. I can't wait to meet your babies soon :) I am currently available full-time, 7 days a week. Please provide at least 24 hours notice for scheduling and 24 hours for any cancellations. In emergencies, I can certainly do my best to fit you in or cancel without fees. I am CPR certified for dogs and cats, and have taken several pet first-aid and safety courses. If you'd like verification, please let me know! While I will use these skills as needed in emergency situations, my normal routine with your pet will follow your rules and guidelines as their owner. I am more than happy to come for a meet & greet before services if your pet may be nervous/aggressive around new people. My own pup struggles with anxiety, and I make sure she's 100% comfortable before leaving her in someone's care. I'll bring plenty of treats and toys to help win them over :)
“Leah was fantastic with dropping in to check on our feisty cat while we were out of town for 4 days. She sent detailed updates and photos everyday which we greatly appreciated. We felt Hunter was in great hands and we came home to a happy cat! Definitely recommend Leah!”

“Emily did a fantastic job watching our two cats while we were out of town for over a week. She was great at communicating, sent lots of wonderful pictures and updates, and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Emily and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Elizabeth stopped in to feed our three cats for us and did an amazing job. She sent multiple pictures of our babies and did exactly what we needed.”

“Peyton has been great with my dog! He a very nervous dog and needs a lot of patience. Peyton has also gone above and beyond in helping me while I’ve been out of town.”

“Kelsey was amazing with our cat, Bella. She sent us thorough updates and photos with each visit which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We will definitely have Kelsey watch Bella again in the future!”

“Kathryn was great with our cats! She communicated regularly and sent lots of fun pictures of them playing. She was also sure to give one of our cats his daily pill. We would highly recommend her as a cat sitter!”

“Lora was wonderful!!! Before using Rover my 2 cats would misbehave while I was out of town for a few days. Her 30 minute check ins to give them a little TLC was just what they needed! She gave detailed updates of her visits along with pictures to make me feel at ease. Best part was coming home to no mess and knowing they were happy and well taken care of! Worth every penny. Thank you Lora!”

“She was incredible! Can’t through during an emergency and the kitties seem to have had a wonderful time! Will definitely rebook! She was also respectful to my home and left everything tidy! Thank you!”

About: I've been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs, have been pet sitting for family and friends since I was young, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. In August 2025, my three-legged Dachshund became paralyzed after a spinal cord injury. He never regained feeling in his back legs, and for nearly 10 months I provided around the clock care to give him the best quality of life possible. I performed daily physical therapy, manually expressed his bladder and bowels, helped him eat, transported him to rehabilitation and acupuncture appointments, and adapted our home and routines to support his mobility. Although he had only one functioning leg, he continued to live a happy, love filled life until we had to say goodbye. That experience gave me extensive hands on experience caring for a disabled companion and deepened my love and understanding of animals. I have a special place in my heart for senior, disabled, and special needs furry friends, and I'm comfortable providing extra patience, medications, mobility assistance, and individualized care when needed. Since losing my dog, I have found myself with extra time and would love to spend it caring for other people's furry family members. I am self employed and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the animals in my care. I'm also very active and love going on walks, playing outside, or simply spending time cuddling on the couch, whatever makes your furry friend happiest. My goal is to make every companion feel safe, loved, and cared for while you're away. Because I'm self employed and work entirely from home, I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime instead of leaving your furry friend alone for long periods. I live in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely run, sniff, and explore. Whether your companion loves to stay active or simply relax with someone nearby, I can provide a calm, comfortable environment where they'll feel right at home. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. My home is located in a quiet neighborhood and features a large, fully fenced backyard with a 10-foot privacy fence, giving dogs plenty of room to safely explore, sniff, play, and relax. The yard also has plenty of shade, making it a comfortable place to spend time outdoors even on warmer days. Inside, I have pet gates to help manage spaces safely, along with toys, cozy beds, and designated areas for rest and relaxation. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I also provide private spaces where a furry friend can decompress and have some quiet time if they are feeling nervous, overwhelmed, or simply prefer their own space. My goal is to create a calm, low-stress environment where every companion feels safe, secure, and cared for throughout their stay.
“Rachel was amazing with our boy Titan! She took good care of him, gave him lots of love and kept me up to date on how he was doing. Will definitely hire again!”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors and friends’ dogs ever since I was a kid. Now surrounded by the lovely dog-friendly city of Charlotte, without a dog of my own, I wanted to offer my services and love for pets through Rover. I’ve watched very old dogs to my friend’s 2 year old Malinois/Shepard mix. I’m currently a remote worker with a very flexible schedule. I like to go for daily ‘brain break’ walks as I refer to them and would love to start walking dogs during so. There’s multiple trails, city and forest covered, around my apartment complex and a local dog park available if interested. I have a balcony as well that’s good for people and bird watching.
“Elizabeth is a real life saver. We had gone out of town and left our pets with a sitter, but the sitter wasn’t able to give our elder cat our heart medicine. We reached out to Elizabeth and she was able to go and give the medicine without any issues and spent some time with our pets to make sure they weren’t lonely while our sitter was in school. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future when we go out of town!”

“Erica is the best! Her detailed descriptions of each visit along with so many photos make us feel comfortable when we are away. We have been using Erica for a year now and only book her if possible!”

The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Tryon Hills is $20

Stephanie did an amazing job taking care of our two cats for a week while we were abroad. We also had some unexpected home utilities issues and Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure that our cats were safe and comfortable. Highly, highly recommend Stephanie and will 100% be checking if she’s available next time we’re out of town.

Zoi was great with our fur baby, we absolutely loved her!! We were a little nervous leaving Dior, but she made us feel so comfortable and took such amazing care of our girl while we were away. Zoi was super sweet, communicative, and I could tell Dior was comfortable with her, which means everythingggg. We came home to a very happy kitty! Being new to NC, so happy we found someone we trust…. she will 100% be our go-to sitter from now on. Couldn’t recommend enough! 🐾💜
