About: I've had dogs, cats, and other small pets for most of my life. I have also volunteered with rescues, and worked in the pet care field for several years. I have frequently been hired to petsit and walk dogs. I am able to perform some basic first aid on dogs and cats, but err on the side of bringing them to the vet. I have experience caring for other types of animals including guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, tarantulas, jumping spiders, mantids, bearded dragons, geckos, cockatiels, parakeets, small parrots, freshwater fish, and horses. I do not have experience with other kinds of invertebrates, saltwater fish, ferrets, hedgehogs, chinchillas, snakes, or livestock other than horses. I am happy to care for these types of animals, but I will need detailed instructions from you. I'm flexible with changing schedules, and am happy to accommodate the needs of your pets. When you hire me as a sitter I am able to be with your pets almost all day. I wouldn't be away for more than 2-3 hours, and I rarely need to do this more than once every few days. I am almost always available between late October and late May. Between late May and late October I typically work 6am to 4:30pm Wednesday through Saturday so my availability is much more limited. I am not able to watch your pets in my home. I am available to both stay at your home to care for your pets, as well as stop by frequently to check on them.

About: Does your puppy need some play time or your old dog need some snuggles? I’m the person for you to higher then. I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right before I moved away from home my parents had 3 dogs. My childhood dog lived till 18 and my youngest dog is a 1 year old right now. Any size of the animals is good with me. Hair doesn’t bother me either. I grew up with a Great Pyrenees, German shepherd and a German shepherd husky mix! I don’t have a job quite yet so right now looking for some money and to save myself from missing my animals so much! I will definitely be willing to work with you around my work schedule when I get one. I will feed them on there feeding schedule you have for them, let them out to use the bathroom and/or go on walks, and play with them as much as they need.

About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and now that I have moved out I have a cat as well named Horchata. Many family members rely on my expertise to watch their fur babies :) I am working part time at McDonalds and Ellagistas and going to school full time but would really love to do something I’m passionate about on my off time like working with animals. My availability is open to anytime I am not at work. I am good at getting animals to listen and calm down if need be. I believe that animals are very in tune with tone and that is the main way they know if what they are doing is good, bad and anything in between.

About: I've had two to three dogs my whole life and my mom has always kept animals around the house! I dogsat for multiple family friends in high school and I have been working for Rover for almost three years now! I’ve watched countless of animals and I love doing it! Especially since I don’t get to see my dog when I’m away at college! I am a fourth year advertising student at the University of Idaho so this is the perfect pet-filled part-time job for me and my current schedule. My care varies from pet to pet depending on preference and the animals routine. I really just spend time with the pets whether thats snuggling or playing! I love to walk once or twice a day too so any outdoor time is great to me!

About: I have years of experience with my own animals as well as with those of friends and family. I am skilled at getting dogs to take meds and can give injections as well. I rescued my first dog while I was on vacation in Mexico. Most people bring home a t-shirt or a shot glass as a souvenir, not me, I brought home a dog. :) I'm in the middle of a career change, and I just finished student teaching and will be subbing off and on this spring before hopefully landing a classroom of my own this fall. This means I have lots of availability spring/summer to commit to your pets. I'd be happy to offer one time services or set up a weekly routine to help out you and your animals. I have used pet sitters from Rover before and understand how important it is to trust the person watching out for your fur babies. I always do a meet and greet with pets and owners before taking a job to ensure we are a good fit and I can meet your needs.
15. Mattison K.
“Great communication and Ted seems like he had a great time with Mattison.”
16. Emma T.
“I strongly recommend Emma Terry for dog/pet sitting. She has tons of experience not only with her own animals, but also caring for animals in a veterinary clinic. She has also worked at a dog daycare facility and has done pet sitting for numerous families in Moses Lake, WA. She will be a wonderful dog sitter for any family.”
17. Kirra L.
About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of animals since I was at least 10 years old. I currently volunteer at the Humane Society of the Palouse often and love every minute of it. I’ve missed having a dog or cat around since moving away from home, and I have the space for an animal to have fun here so I figured I’d sign up to be a sitter (: I am a part time student, and my classes are about an hour each once a day so I have a lot of time at home, definitely flexible as well. I have an apartment, and the facility here has a good sized gated area for dogs. I have the room for a cat here as well
18. Miles L.
“Miles is a very caring and compassionate person. He has taken care of my cocker spaniel, McGyver, for several years. He goes above and beyond. He's gave McGyver haircuts, baths, and walks often. Always kind and never harsh with my old dog.”
19. Jordyn R.
“Jordyn is excellent with animals! She has a true love for her 4 legged friends. Whether is cuddling with them or taking a run with the energetic ones she is on top of it! Highly recommend!”
20. Lorena C.
About: Compassionate vegan meets dog/cat sitting services. As a devoted animal lover living solo in our rural community, I offer a safe, nurturing environment for your furry family members. I'm not employed so I'm free all day! My schedule is open 8am to 8pm. I can also take more than one dog at a time! I can take pets in my home since I live alone but I also don't mind being in your space if that is more comfortable for your pet.
