“Brandi was wonderful with our boy for his first overnight at her house. We got daily updates of how he was doing, and pictures of him playing hard and napping peacefully. She had him neatly packed and ready to go for pickup. He’ll be staying there again!”

“Courtney was awesome! Our pup, Lula, was so excited each time we dropped her off for daycare. Courtney is very responsive and trustworthy. We will definitely book with her again. Thank you, Shawna”

“Got pics and updates showing the dogs were doing great. They do host multiple pups at any one time and thankfully ours get along with any dogs so it worked, did not realize that till we got there but isn't an issue for us. The pics of our snuggler pup being petted by their toddler was so cute. Have already booked them again for August!”

“Super happy with how our pup was treated! Wendy (Alice) did a fantastic job taking care of Minima, taking her for walks, and keeping in contact while we were away. She knows what she is doing!”

“Barney had playmates and daily outings. He was well cared for and happy to be there. Stephanie even received the coveted Barney snuggles. I would gladly leave him with Stephanie again. I am also looking into day play dates with this sitter.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’m the proud owner of a 3-year-old high-energy Aussiedoodle named Arlo, so I’m very comfortable meeting the needs of active, intelligent dogs who thrive on routine, exercise, and attention. We spend our weekends hiking and exploring the outdoors, which has given me a strong appreciation for physical and mental enrichment for pets. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and set of needs, and I strive to provide patient, attentive, and reliable care so both pets and owners feel at ease. Whether it’s keeping up with daily walks, playtime, feeding routines, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. On weekdays, I work from 8–5 but live close enough to come home during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feeding check-ins, and some one-on-one time. Pets are never left alone all day and get consistent care throughout the day. Mornings and evenings include walks, playtime, and relaxed downtime at home. On weekends, my schedule is very flexible, which allows for longer walks, outdoor adventures, and extra attention. I’m especially comfortable caring for high-energy dogs and making sure they get the exercise and enrichment they need. I care for pets in my home just like I do my own dog — with lots of attention, routine, and love. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for meals, walks, and any special instructions, and make sure they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and downtime. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats, including high-energy dogs. I work 8–5 on weekdays but come home at lunch for walks and check-ins, so pets aren’t left alone all day. On weekends, we enjoy longer walks, outdoor time, and a relaxed pace. My goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home while keeping owners updated and worry-free.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a part of who I am. I currently have a 7-month-old red tri Australian Shepherd named Bear, and he’s taught me so much about working with energetic, playful pups! I know every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I love getting to know what makes each one special. Whether your dog wants a long walk, a game of fetch, lots of belly rubs, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’ll also send plenty of photo updates because I know how comforting it is to see your pup happy while you’re away! Hi! I’m currently working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week. I absolutely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going for a walk, playing fetch, getting in some belly rubs, or just keeping them company while you’re away. I’ll do my best to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they feel loved and comfortable every visit. I’m a proud dog mom to my 7-month-old red tri Australian Shepherd, Bear, who has taught me so much about caring for energetic, playful pups! I know every dog has their own personality and routine, so I’ll always follow your instructions carefully to make sure they feel safe and happy. I’ll treat your home with respect, keep your pet safe on every walk, and send plenty of photo updates so you can see how much fun they’re having. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your best friend is in good hands
“Amany was amazing with our scared of everything special needs dog! We are so happy to finally find someone that takes such good care of Fritz! We will definitely have Amany watch him again!”
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.
“Hannah was amazing! She took great care of our boy Cyrus. She was very good at communicating and sending pictures when we asked for updates. We felt very comfortable leaving our baby with her and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Mikayla was great! She kept me updated with photos of my dogs during their stay with her and let me know if there were any issues or concerns. She did great with my senior dog who has a lot of trauma in her past and problem solved any issues together. I would definitely recommend Mikayla!”

“Lily is AMAZING, I cannot praise her enough!! She is attentive, asked plenty of questions, and really did an amazing job caring for Penny. I was worried due recent health issues, but Lily never skipped a beat. I am so thankful to have found her, and can’t wait until the next stay!”

“Shoshana was so kind to my dog and was very reliable. Her warmth and love of animals was very apparent from our first meeting. I was able to go away with complete peace of mind knowing that my dog was being so well cared for.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
