About: I've provided pet care for clients, friends and family my whole life. I love adventuring with my dogs ie walks, hikes, going to the beach. I use positive training and discipline techniques. I’ve also worked on an AKC German Shepherd farm doing conformation showing and training, and I’ve fostered 6 puppies that I trained and prepared for their new families — they still keep in touch with me daily! I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood while they’re in my care. I work part time, so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups **(Me and a roomate in the home I will be the sole and only caretaker of your pet throughout the week.)**I live just a few steps from Reaney Park and visit there frequently, so walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my routine. I have Sundays off every week and am happy to dedicate that day to extra time and attention with your pup. My home is dog proofed and set up to be a safe, comfortable place for your pup. I have two very friendly dogs who can interact with your dog if they’re comfortable with each other, or they can be put away if your dog prefers their own space. Both of my dogs are off-leash trained, but when a client’s dog is staying with me, the door does not open unless that dog is safely leashed. We’re 10 steps away from Reaney Park, where client dogs stay on a leash or long line the entire time. We also have a fenced balcony that your dog can enjoy with supervision if you’d like them to have access to it. Inside, there are plenty of appropriate toys to chew on and cords, surfaces, and other hazards are kept out of reach. Your dog will be supervised whenever they’re not safely crated. I love giving dogs as much freedom as they can safely handle, so please feel free to tell me your pup’s expectations, routines, and requirements. I’m happy to follow them and make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
