About: I have 4 dogs of my own. My Mastiff and my little dashund mix are geriatric and spend their time on their orthopedic beds. My two younger dogs are a mini Aussie and golden retriever. They are both very social due to me running a doggy daycare. I am insured and have clientele outside of Rover 😊 I have two fenced yards and currently working on completing a dog park on our property. The downstairs apartment of our home was turned into a dog palace with one room dedicated to kitties. My niece lives with me and she is a vet tech at a Lewiston vet clinic. She is very helpful with my doggy daycare and boarding. I also have a 16yr old who is absolutely amazing with animals. Meet and greets are always welcome! About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I will continue to grow my portfolio, as I am a Pre-Vet Animal Science major at Washington State University with the goal of becoming a veterinarian one day. I am currently on summer break in my hometown (Everett) and have pretty open availability. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. No escapes will happen on my watch! I am open to following any other rules, expectations or suggestions you have regarding your pet & house’s safety!
