About: I have been an animal lover all of my life. I grew up with cats, caring for my beloved Walter until he passed at 20 years old. I have since had the pleasure of my own Lab (now 10) as well as experience in Doggy Day Care where I was playroom manager and responsible for dogs anywhere from 1-20 in one playroom at a time(room combo of an average of 45-55 dogs in the whole building split between rooms and size).I am looking forward to more one on one relationships with families and their pets. I am looking forward to a career as a Vet Technician, and plan to take classes in the Fall. At the moment, I am wide open to spend time with local pets as I prepare to return to school. My plan come Fall will be part time classes and more time animals. Pet care will be my priority in my weekly routine. I always spend time in advance with the fur babies to get to know them and importantly, discuss the pet parents' needs. Do they need special food? Special training at meals for over excited pups? How much do they like to play/walk? Do they like to interact with other pets or prefer to stay one on one with me? I am also extremely responsible in the homes of pet parents, cleaning up after the babies as well as making sure the home is secure.

Taking care of pets is something I genuinely enjoy, so I make it a priority to give them quality time, whether that’s exercise, play, or just keeping them company. For dog walking, I make sure each walk is safe, structured, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and needs. I follow your usual route or preferences, keep dogs securely leashed, and pay close attention to their behavior and surroundings. During walks, I allow time for exercise, bathroom breaks, and a positive interactions so they stay happy and engaged. For drop-in visits, I focus on maintaining your pet’s normal routine. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up after them, and spending quality time with play or companionship so they don’t feel lonely. I also keep an eye on their overall behavior and well-being, making sure everything seems normal while you’re away. For cats, I make sure they are safely in their home and always being careful about opening the door so they don't escape. I take my time till they get to know me. In both cases, I respect your home, follow all instructions carefully, and provide dependable, attentive care so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I have always been involved in pet care in my home for over 15 years. I have had experience with elderly dogs and cats of my own. I have pet-sitted in my neighborhood for puppies and for breeds different from my own dogs. I will use my energy to play with your pet and hopefully decrease their energy. I have a very flexible schedule since graduating college and applying to graduate school nearby. I have lots of time and availability for stop-ins during the day or bringing study materials to a client’s home. My yard is fenced in and I can take dogs for a walk in Brookdale Park nearby. I will administer medicine and play with dogs and provide them with a cuddly environment.
