“I’ve never used a dog sitter ever in my life but I’m so grateful that Emma was the first person to have filled that role. She is incredible. Sending me updates and pictures of my beagle to sweeping up the floor before she left. I was at ease knowing she was there for my dog. I would 100% book her again”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was a kid and formally pet sitting off and on for 20 years. I am experienced administering medication and providing special meals for pets with dietary restrictions. I’m currently pet sitting full time so I have time for walks, breakfast or lunch visits and overnight stays. Sorry but at this time I’m not able too board at my home at this time. For every meet & greet we will go over your pet’s needs in detail to ensure they have a comfortable time in your absence. We will cover food, walks, favorite toys, sleeping habits and more!

“Alex was awesome! Being gone for a few days from my babies was so hard for us but She would update me on how our babies were doing by sending photos. All around I would definitely recommend her and will use her again in the future!”

“I highly recommend Jalen as a dog sitter! He was incredibly attentive to my dogs, making sure they were well-cared for, walked, and happy while I was away. He kept my house very clean, which was a great bonus. He communicated frequently, sending me regular updates and photos of my dogs so I could see how well they were doing. I’d absolutely recommend him and will be booking him again in the future!”

About: Hello everyone my name is Arantxa and I am jazzed about critters of all types but particularly dogs, cats and rabbits, oh my! I volunteered at the Chula Vista Animal Shelter for two years, have owned over 10 pups of my own, and regularly help care for the pets of several people in my community who suggested I try Rover since I love this work so much. :•) Dogs are a big passion of mine and I would be absolutely delighted to get to know your furry friend and their needs! I used to own many dogs and would love to incorporate more animals into my every day. Caring for animals feels like life is light! I have a fenced yard and can walk for many hours on end with furry creatures while giving them ample opportunities to sniff the world!

“We couldn’t be happier with Mellania! She took such great care of Lentil and Brody while we were away. It’s always nerve wracking leaving your pet with someone new, but Mellania quickly put our minds at ease with her professionalism, warmth, and constant communication. She sent regular updates with photos, which showed just how happy and comfortable Lentil and Brody were. When we got back, both dogs were so calm, happy, and clearly VERY well cared for. It’s obvious that Mellania genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they’re safe, happy, and loved. We highly recommend her and will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“So glad I met Darlene. First time for our fur babies meeting someone new. Love the way she treats them from the moment she met them and walked through our front door. Darlene kept us up to date and assured us that they would be okay. She sent pictures and videos and we loved how she interacts with them. We enjoyed our date night with a peace of mind and hope there will be more!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10 years old. I’ve had a total of 3 cats since growing up in Los Angeles. I’ve helped many of my friends with pet sitting their cats overnight in my home or at theirs. I had my first dog (160 pound St Bernard) about 2 years ago. I adopted him since he was 6 months old until he turned almost 2. Now I have a 5 month old German shepherd and no cats. I am currently working part time and am available during the week and weekend when I’m off. I’m also available early morning or late at night if needed. I have a small fenced yard with plenty of room to play. I have many dog toys but can use yours if you prefer. I make sure I keep dogs inside when it is raining or if it gets too hot. Especially avoiding any mosquito bites so please let me know if your dog is on a flea and tick prevention.

About: I've owned and been surrounded by dogs of all kinds since I was 6. I've always loved their company, and I make sure they love mine! If there's a dog I don't know about, I do my research to ensure they have the best care they need. I am actively looking for work, so my availability is open on the weekdays and the weekends! My routine is very flexible so I can commit all the time that's needed to your pets and make them feel loved. I've owned two dogs, big and small, and I understand that dogs of all sizes need lots of attention. I make sure that your pets stay active and feel safe while you're away! If there are any personal concerns or accommodations I can do to make your pet feel comfortable, I will provide!

“Sylvia did an excellent job taking care of my senior dog! She kept me updated with pictures and texts. She left my home in beautiful condition. Would highly recommend.”

“Ashlee was an amazing pet/house sitter! We have 3-challenging dogs that took to her right away (A RARE THING) for this group! We were able to relax and enjoy our 8-day trip knowing that they were in good hands. It's been a very long time (years and years) since we could all go away together WITHOUT the dogs. Thank you Ashlee. We could't say enough positive things about you. We are relieved to have someone we can truly count on to care for our dogs and house! 10 STARS!”

About: Make sure to write down medications and times to keep there routine going. Most of my time is dedicated to them. So at the end of the day we are friends. I walk dogs for a living so it helps me get better as a dog walker. I like to learn more with different breeds and older dogs. I take dogs out for walks 3 times daily. If the dog is younger 5-6 times daily so they can learn to potty out side. My apt has A/C for this hot weather.

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have had the joy of owning dogs throughout different stages of my life. From energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Whether it’s administering medication to an elderly or sick dog, keeping up with the needs of a high-energy pup, or providing gentle care to a large breed with mobility issues, I always prioritize the comfort, safety, and happiness of every dog I look after. Over the years, I’ve cared for everything from tiny lap dogs to big lovable giants. I understand how important it is to adapt to each dog’s individual personality, health needs, and routine — and I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Whether you’re heading out of town or just need a helping hand during a busy week, you can count on me to provide responsible, compassionate, and attentive care. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday life because I work remotely Monday–Friday and keep a predictable, family-oriented schedule. I’m up early each morning to walk my child to school, which means an early potty break or brisk stroll is part of my routine already. Throughout the workday I’m home and able to provide regular attention, playtime, and midday walks without juggling a commute. In the afternoon I pick my child up—another built-in opportunity for fresh air and exercise—then settle back in for the rest of the evening. Because my workload is flexible, I can easily adjust meeting times for feedings, medication, or extra cuddle sessions. Weekends are even more open, allowing for longer park outings or neighborhood adventures. In short, my at-home work style and kid-friendly schedule give me plenty of time, energy, and consistency to devote to caring for your dog as if they were my own. When caring for pets in my home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where dogs can feel right at home. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly space with areas for rest, play, and outdoor access. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible — including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medication (if needed), and preferred sleeping arrangements. Whether it’s a playful pup or a senior dog who needs extra care, I provide plenty of attention, affection, and structure to ensure they feel loved and secure during their stay. For dog walking clients, I treat each walk as more than just exercise — it’s also quality one-on-one time. I tailor the pace and route to each dog’s energy level, size, and any health considerations. Whether it’s a quick potty walk or a longer adventure around the neighborhood, I make sure your dog stays safe, stimulated, and happy every step of the way. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pup is in good hands.

“Veronica was an incredible pet sitter/house guest.. Took the extra care to send us pictures of our grand-pups through out her stay which helped put our minds at ease. Would definitely reach out to her again and recommend her to our friends and family!!!”

“Arantxa has been walking my dog Stevie occasionally for roughly four years now and there’s no one better. I know my dog is safe, having fun and cared for when Arantxa. Some days Stevie needs different types of walks, whether that’s more physically exhausting or mentally and Arantxa never fails to anticipate Stevie’s needs and make it the best walk possible. I also get photos and fun updates about their adventures afterward. Would happily recommend Arantxa to any person who has a high energy dog or needs a good amount of mental stimulation. Arantxa has found all sorts of routes and trails to keep Stevie from getting bored. Stevie can also be reactive and Arantxa handles my dog’s unique needs effortlessly each time.”

“Bryan has two beautiful golden retrievers that he regularly cares for by walking, running and playing with them. He is devoted to their well being and enjoys being a pet owner.
