About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and don't want to be without them ! My Husky Sharpei mix, Lily passed away in 2021 after 16 years of a long healthy life. It was a hard loss, so I started spending time with other people's pets and decided to turn it into a career. Through the years of petsitting i have learned alot about different animal personalities and i have gained experience with different levels of care. Some of the pets i have watched suffered from high separation anxiety, and have special needs. I have experience giving diabetic shots, administering oral medication, and topical oitments on cats and dogs. I have experience with extended stays, my longest so far being a month. I also have experience watching multiple dogs and cats. I have watched reactive dogs in the past and I am comfortable doing so if i know their triggers. I’m currently working full time. I am available every 4 hours if you live close to Downtown Champaign. I am also willing to travel within a 40 mile radius to pet sit, but will not be able to drop in if you are far from downtown Champaign Once your gone I pretty much resume your role, while pet care is a priority I still clean up after myself so you won't have to worry about coming into a messy home. Cats and dogs love to cuddle with me on the couch, so they will get plenty of attention hanging out with me.

About: I've lived with and taken care of dogs for 11 years! I love all dogs and animals in general. I'll treat your pet like family, and they will be my number 1 priority while I'm taking care of them. I'll be doing a research assistantship at UIUC over the summer with 8-10 hours per week committed to that. This won't take up the majority of my time, so I'll have more than enough to take care of your wonderful pets! I'll treat your pets just as well as I treat mine. They'll get whatever care they need and plenty of extra love on top of that! I treat my client's home extremely well and make sure to clean up after myself. I take pride in keeping a clean living environment for myself and for my pets. I'll be sure to leave the house just as clean as when you left, and I'll be sure to give plenty of love and care to your pet as well!

About: Hi, My name is Jennifer. I am currently a first year veterinary student. I am looking always spend time with animals during my free time. I have plenty of past experience. Currently, I have a lovely and mighty 15 year old chihuahua and and hyperactive 1 yr old Shiba mix back in my hometown, Chicago. Here, I take care of my boyfriend’s dog, a gentle and high energy 5 year old pup who we believe is an American Terrier mix. I’ve had so much fun caring for and training all of them. They know how to do their business outside, give a high five/paw, handshake, sit and stay. In the past, I have volunteered as a dog walker and done animal care and medical internships with PAWS Chicago and The Humane Society. Additionally, I’ve walked dogs during my free time through an app. called Wag and I had so much fun. Unfortunately, it’s not available in Champaign. Prior to starting veterinary school, I worked full time as a veterinary assistant at an awesome private practice in Chicago. Everyday, I worked with clients and their dogs, cats, and even some birds! Overall, I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I am also comfortable with administering medications if needed. Throughout my experience I have developed good husbandry and handling skills that can assure the health and happiness of your pets. I am very patient and willing to play with and teach your pet some tricks. In the future, I hope to become a small animal veterinarian to further care for your adorable furry friends! I’m currently a full time veterinary student . However, my schedule can be pretty flexible since our class times vary everyday. I am generally available on weekends. Once the summer break starts in May, I will be significantly more available during the week and on weekends. If you’re interested in my services feel free to reach out. It is always exciting meeting a new pet parent and their pets. I am happy to coordinate the best times to care for your furry friends! I am very cognizant of the importance of paying attention to your pets. So when I am pet sitting I make sure that the pet is comfortable, well fed, and having fun. If I ever notice anything abnormal, I reach out to the owner. I also like to meet with the client prior to the home visit to assure that the pet is comfortable with me and so the client can let me know of any pertinent information. Every animal is unique and has their own personality and likes and dislikes, having this information is crucial to me! It helps me assure that I keep the pet in a comfortable and secure environment . During the visit, I like to keep the owner updated and love to send them pictures of their pets. About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

“Rachel is the best! Any dog (or human) who spends time with Rachel is a lucky dog (and human)! She's fun, reliable, trustworthy and she loves dogs! It doesn't get much better than Rachel!”

Sarah F.
“Sarah is an amazing pet caregiver! She is responsible, attentive, and truly loves animals. My pets were so happy and well cared for. Highly recommend her services! – Melisa D.”

Xule M.
“Xule is a very kind and warm girl. I had an unexpected trip that takes 2 weeks. So I asked around if anyone could help to take care of my cat. That’s when she stands out and provide help. I have two cats, so it takes extra efforts to add water, food, and clean the litter box. However, she can handle everything perfectly! My cats also love her, trying to approach her all the time. She gives a lot of patience to my cats. For example, other than routine care, she also spend a lot of time playing with my cats, which significantly reduce my cats’ anxiety. Also, she sends a lot of pictures and videos to me to make me understand my cats’ live. That is really helpful! I HIGHLY recommend her to be this position.”

Sierra F.
“Sierra has provided pet sitting services for me on several occasions. She has always provided great care to my pets. She has given medications to my pet post surgery. She is always my first choice for a pet sitter. I appreciate her attitude and communication skills.”
