About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals with a variety of cats and dogs. I’ve learned a lot through fostering pets and volunteer work. I am very passionate about working with and caring for animals! I am a college student currently in Champaign. About: I’ve had dogs (boxers) my entire life, and I have always loved them. I have cared for others’ dogs on multiple occasions, including walking and feeding. I spent a summer between college semesters working at a pet hotel where I took care of dogs of all sizes including cleaning up after them, feeding them and giving them water, playing with them, etc. I’m currently a full time graduate student looking to take care of pets during the open spaces of my week between, after, and before classes. I think pets respond best to patience and love, rather than aggressive behavior. Everyone has their own rules and routines for their dog, which I’m willing to follow.
About: I have worked at a vet clinic for 5 years as a vet assistant so I’m very knowledgeable in the field. I have taken care of family dogs and 1 personal dog. I’ll be available Tuesday after 3:30pm, Thursdays after 12:30pm, and some weekends until October 14th. I’ll have a different schedule after that as I’ll be in a different stage of vet school. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was young. There was once a time where I was taking care of 4 dogs at the same time in my household. I’m a lover to all furry and non furry friends, your doggo will be in safe hands. I’m currently working a part time (of 3 years in caregiving) and full time job, hoping to quit the full time job to focus more on work life balance instead of just work. Once I get more pets to sit I will be able to say goodbye to the full time job I’ll be able to spend more time with your pets! I’m very respectful of others and their property. About: I grew up in Singapore and had the good fortune of being surrounded by family pets, be it either my grandparents' 5 German Shepherds or my other grandparents' English Pointer and German Shepherd. In 2005, I was blessed with Charlie, our Golden Labrador, who we got as a 3-month old puppy from New Zealand and he is my brother from another mother. After High School, I was enlisted in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Platoon Commander under Special Operations Task Force from 2011 to 2013 and got the opportunity to train and work with canine units as well. Following that, I moved to the US to do my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (2017) and Master's in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering (2022), here at UIUC. Since 2019, I have been the Head of Mechanical and Product Development associated with the Cancer Center at Illinois, located at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. I normally work 9:30 AM-6 PM M-F and come home from 1-2 pm to take dogs out for a walk and playtime, but am able to easily accommodate your loved ones anytime during the week. I live in an apartment complex that has a huge middle courtyard. I am more than happy to take the puppers out for walks/runs as well.

“Our Lucy is a pandemic dog who gets very sad when she is alone. Our Alexa notifies us of her mournful cries. However, with just 2 visits a day Rebecca divided her with enough engagement and affection that we never received even one notification over a 3 day period!! Rebecca, listened to those closely when she met us and reinforced them for us, when she was here. We used Rebecca's name often during that visit. When I told Lucy that we were leaving for 3 days, her ears went down - when I told her Rebecca was coming to visit her ears perked up.”
About: I own several animals which include cats, dogs, and a leopard gecko. I love animals, and I am good with feeding on time, bathroom breaks on time, and I love to spend quality time with animals! I am good with puppy and kitten care as well. I am a house cleaner as well, so it tends to mix in with the pet care. I am consistently taking care of myself, my house, and my animals. I walk my dog every day, I feed all of my animals at the same time every day, I keep regular vet appointments, and all of my animals are up to date on their vaccines and spay/neutering.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
