“David was so great with our cat, Chester, that we rescheduled with him for our next trip as soon as we got back. Chester is a diabetic cat and David successfully gave him his insulin injections twice a day, every day. He was very friendly (both with us and Chester) and was very easy to communicate with. He always arrived on time and provided great updates and pictures twice a day that made us feel assured that Chester was in good hands! They spend time playing together and getting in some cuddles while David still took care of the insulin injections and everything else that needed done. On an app with so many dog-focused sitters, we are very grateful to have found another cat guy like David to look after Chester!”

About: I have had a dog in my household that u have lived and taken care of as far back as I can remember. I have also done many dog sitting jobs. As a college athlete at Parkland College, I’m used to balancing a busy schedule and staying organized. About: Hello! I’m a first year veterinary student with 3 years experience as a veterinary assistant at a small animal general practice. I’m skilled in safe animal handling, physical restraint, preventative care, and administering medications. I’m Fear Free Certified and always prioritize low-stress, compassionate care. Moreover, I’m comfortable with sitting for senior pets with medical needs. I have personal experience managing chronic illness in my own dog for 2+ years, including giving at-home subcutaneous fluids and consistent oral medications. I have experience with bathing and would be more than happy to offer baths or nail trims upon request for an additional charge. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priority. As a student, I attend classes during the weekday, but my schedule allows me to run home during lunch breaks and between classes for potty breaks, feedings, and check-ins. My evenings are completely free, so your pet will have plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship during the evening hours and will not be left alone. My home is a townhome with no pets and no children, providing a calm and controlled environment. There is plenty of space for pets to move around comfortably, and I can easily accommodate crates or set up separate areas if needed. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s established routines and household rules, including furniture access and sleeping arrangements, to help them feel at home.

About: I am a 5 year experienced veterinary technician who has worked primarily with small animals in multiple practices across the United States. I am currently enrolled in veterinary medical school pursuing my doctorate at UIUC in their college of veterinary medicine. In addition, I am a life-long pet owner myself! I grew up with dogs in a variety of sizes, as well as cats. As a veterinary student, I have classes in the morning and sometimes afternoon. This should not be a concern as I still have plenty of time to watch pets! I care for pets in the owners home! As a veterinary student, I am living in an apartment which is not always the appropriate place for watching certain large-sized dogs. I also have a cat of my own who is terrified of dogs!

About: I work with dogs in the shelter and train them to perform sit, stay, and down. I walk the shelter dogs, clean their kennels, socialize with them, and give them lots of love. I also have a senior dog who lives with my father, and when I visit my father, I take care of my dog. He is a very picky eater, and I will sit with him and offer him all kinds of foods until he decides that is what he wants to eat tonight! I am free during the evenings and the weekends. I am currently in school, and my classes are in the morning. I also work during breaks throughout the school day, but I do not work on weekends. I cannot care for pets at my residence as it does not allow animals, but I can easily watch your pets or walk your dog at your home.
