“Megan was great with my dog! She sent lots of pictures and I could tell my dog was having the best time ever. Megan was an excellent communicator and so easy to work with. I will book with again and recommend others do as well.”

“Kim is patient and loving and Frankie enjoyed his long walk and time playing in the large fenced in yard. We are so happy that we found Kim to watch our puppy when we have family outings. Thank you so much!”

“Our dog gets so excited when she sees we’re taking her to “Tía Lorena’s house!” Lorena and her family are so lovely and welcoming, and we always pick up a tired, happy dog at the end of the day.”

“Rusty has a wonderful, gentle way with dogs. Mine is an anxious, large 8 month old puppy. She warmed up to him right away and ran around in the large gated backyard, along with going to walks. I will definitely book with Rusty again and recommend him to everyone.”

“Amazing! I had no worries all day about my dog as I was sent many videos and also text messages of updates for him! 10/10 would very much recommend! Thank you so much again!!!”

About: Ive taken care of family members dogs before. I’ve also had experience with puppies and adult dogs! I have 1 dog of my own and it would be fun to be able to take care of other dogs as well :) I work part time and most of my afternoons I’m free! I always love going on walks in the afternoons anyways so having someone to walk with would be awesome! I have a fenced yard and a crate inside if needed. I do have kids but they’re all very gentle with our animals here at home.
About: I truly take care of pets, being responsible and careful. I have had pets with disabilities, very old, and I have given them medicine orally, and topically and changed the bandages, as well as fed with my palm for very old and blind ones. I currently work part time and mostly available to take care of pets. My schedule is flexible for boarding on and off, as well as weekends I live in a single house with fenced backyard. I am available for taking care of your loved ones and have a nice place in my house for them❤️. It is clean and cozy.
“Elena is amazing!! She is very responsive, followed my instructions, and took such great care of Briscoe -- my sweet pup was happy and tired when I picked her up, so I know she had a fun day with Elena. Briscoe is looking forward to the next time she sees Elena! Thank you so much!!”

“Elisa is the sweetest most thoughtful sitter! She provided a safe and loving home for my little dog and sent me the cutest pictures regularly throughout the day. She is the absolute best if you are looking for a deeply kind and gentle soul to create a safe place for your little one. Yay Elisa! ( and her sweet dog Fiona)”

“Grace and her partner have been fabulous the couple of times I needed a sitter for a full day. Their dog Mario has been great playmate for my pup Penny. They certainly have treated penny as their own. I would highly recommend other owners to reach out to Grace!”

About: I got my first dog (fox terrier) at 10 and was primarily responsible for his needs until I went to college. He lived to be 11 and I loved those 10 years with him so much. During high school and college until COVID started, I pet sit several dogs and a few cats. Then I adopted a retired racing greyhound when COVID started and adopted a rescue great dane in fall 2023. I would describe myself as consistent, adaptable, respectful, confident, observant, and caring. I am very understanding to the fact that every dog has different needs and that every owner has their own rules/training styles. I am an experienced dog handler. When I adopted the rescue great dane, he was completely untrained with very dangerous and challenging behaviors. I worked with 3 different trainers, took him to a group obedience class, and researched as much as I could to train him to be the good dog I knew he could be. After almost a year of rigorous training, he has been able to become an amazing well behaved dog. I am completely open to taking care of any breed, size, age, and personality. I will not shy away from or turn down taking care of the "difficult" dogs, or puppies, or senior dogs with many medical requirements. All dogs are great and deserve great care while their human is away! Last Updated: 7/9/2025 ***I live in a neighborhood off of Route 45 and Sterns School*** WALKS AND DROP-INS - Reoccurring bookings: Mon-Wed/Fri-Sun 11:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; Thu 1:00-7:00 p.m. - One-time bookings: Can be outside of the above times if needed, but confirm with me first. ***A DISCOUNTED WALK RATE IS AVAILABLE DURING ALL BOARDING, HOUSE SITTING, AND DAYCARE BOOKINGS*** - 30 min walk per day = $10 (usually $20) - 15 min walk per day = $5 HOUSE SITTING: I am available to stay with your pet in your home any night and day of the week almost 24/7. I have a few re-occurring weekly dog walks so I would need to be gone for a few hours midday usually. BOARDING: Your dog can stay overnight at my house any day of the week, provided that they are a small breed, well-behaved, and okay with large dogs.* DAYCARE: Your dog can stay at my house any day of the week provided that they are a small breed, well-behaved, and okay with large dogs.* - Re-occurring bookings: preferred drop off is 9 a.m. or later, pick up anytime is fine - One-time bookings: drop off can be earlier than 9 a.m. if needed, just confirm with me first, pick up anytime is fine --- *My greyhound is 9 y.o., 70 lb. and my great dane is 4 y.o., 140 lb. My great dane LOVES small, well-behaved dogs, but still struggles a bit with medium/large dogs. I am working to resolve this and will be able to accommodate those sizes for boarding/daycare in the future! ^If I house sit for you and you have a medium/large dog that cannot be left alone or does not like other dogs, I can still bring them to my house and crate my dogs in the other room! I will always uphold any rules/training style you have for me and your dog no matter what service I am providing. I am receptive to feedback and will always keep you informed about how my time is going with your dog and will always ask questions in order to take the best care of your dog. HOUSE SITTING: I am okay with multidog homes. I will leave your house the way you had it when you leave and I can get your mail/packages/put your trash cans out and back in as well. I can take care of other animals you have as well while you are gone. BOARDING/DAYCARE: Safety and peace of mind is of utmost importance for me. Since I have 2 large dogs already, I can only take one dog at a time. (Caveats: If an emergency, I could take a second dog; if you have two well-behaved small dogs, that might be okay too - just ask me). The greyhound is very chill and is great with any well-behaved dog. The great dane is fine with well-behaved small dogs. I will always take it slow on leash when introducing the dogs to each other and then they will always be supervised when together. Only other pets I have are fish. I have no kids. I keep the house very clean and doors to rooms/bathrooms closed so no way of getting in to things they shouldn't! I have a decently sized fenced backyard. There is a few feet of the fence that is higher off the ground so if I can keep small dogs on leash when they go out. I can also take them out by themself if necessary. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a basement so plenty of room in case the dogs need a break from each other or need to play separately from each other. Additionally, the great dane is extremely well crate trained and has an upstairs and downstairs crate that can be utilized. If I had to leave for some reason while your dog is staying at my house (which I rarely do, all dogs would be separated (by crate or being in a different room). You can bring their crate and/or I have an extra crate as well. All dogs can sleep in the bedroom but not on the bed!
About: I truly love animals and have years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs through rescue work. I’ve helped with feeding cat colonies, TNR efforts, and supporting dog rescues, which has taught me how to be patient and attentive with animals of all personalities. I’m especially good with shy or nervous pets and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet care is already a natural part of my routine. I’m used to planning my days around feeding, checking in on animals, and making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. Because of my experience helping with rescues and caring for animals regularly, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I always follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks or playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs to make sure they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep their environment calm and familiar. 🐾

“Carol and her family are wonderful pet sitters! Initially, we were worried about leaving our new puppy with anyone, but after meeting Carol and her family, our anxiety was relieved. She is a very loving, caring person and treated Sebastian like her own. Thank you, again, Carol!”
“Tom looked after my little pup snooper for a few hours and snooper was calm and happy when I picked him up. I appreciate how prepared they are.. it really conveys another level of care for our pups. We have been there a couple times when in town, and I appreciated their flexibility because I didn’t know how long I would be away. Definitely recommend. Thanks Tom (and debbie)”

Third Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
Danya was amazing. First of all, she was able to accommodate a last minute same day daycare. She sent updates and pics throughout my pups stay. He's extremely mopey and has refused to engage in the past when we've had daycare, but danya was able to coax him out into the fresh air. She's basically a miracle worker. Toast was happy, healthy, and clearly we left him in great hands. If I could leave more stars I would!!!
