About: New to Rover, not new to pet sitting! I have been pet sitting since the early 2000s, starting by taking care of my neighbors, friends, and families pets as a first job. Now, it’s something that brings me great joy outside of my day job. I work remote, so I’m fully available to check in & help with your fur babies 7 days a week at any time. During my spare time, I volunteer at a cat sanctuary that specializes in re-socializing abused cats. This has given me experience in proper medication administration, baths, and behavioral rehabilitation. I’m a pet owner myself & know how stressful it can be to leave your fur babies at home with a stranger. Let me help so you can stress less! I work full-time, permanently remote with a flexible job & hours. I’m available mornings, afternoons, and evenings whether it be for spontaneous trips or weekly scheduled visits. Pet care not only fits into my day to day life & job, but it’s what brings me joy! Safety & trust are my top priorities myself. Having two pets of my own at home, I understand the stress of having someone new visit your animals. Let’s chat about your expectations & needs per pet before visits begin. I promise to follow your rules to a T to ensure all steps are followed & everyone is safe.

About: I have been a Petco certified dog trainer since I was 18 and have dog/house sat many times since! I treat your dog like family and your home with respect! I am flexible! I am available Mondays and Thursdays all day. Saturdays I get off work at 2:00pm I work 9-5 during the rest of the days of the week. But I always need an excuse to use PTO so watching your fur baby won’t be problem! I just need a two week notice Quality time will be spent with your fur baby to make sure they keep busy. Plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. I love using puzzle toys, snuffles and other things to get a dogs mind working!

“Sara was fantastic! She gladly agreed to meet us in advance for a meet and greet and our dog immediately gave her kisses! A good sign for our usually hesitant dachshund. :) She made us feel extremely comfortable leaving our baby in her hands and didn’t flinch at my paranoia regarding our sticky door lock. She arrived on time for all scheduled visits, stayed plenty long enough for Madeiline to do her business and still get some snuggles in. She was super responsive and sent multitude of pictures of their adventures. Arrived home to a happy and relaxed puppy. Would definitely recommend Sara to any other dog parents out there and will be using her again ourselves. Thank you Sara!”

About: I specialize in puppy training, senior pet care, and administering medications—providing loving, patient, and reliable attention tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I’ve had all sizes of dogs growing up and love them all! I’m currently working part time, and I have enough flexibility to fit your pets need in my schedule! Your pet means a lot to me even if it’s just a walk a day. I take my dogs out at least eight times a day on a leash. I take them for a walk twice a day. My cats are fed once a day and their litter is changed every other day.

“Ginger took incredible care of my cats, sending me tons of pictures and information during each visit. I could confidently trust that my babies were cared for, socialized, and fed. I will definitely be asking Ginger to cat sit next time I go on a trip :)”

“I booked Sabrina at the last minute and she took great care of Bella. This was my first time having someone come to my home to do drop-in visits as Bella normally does boarding with her usual sitter so, I was very apprehensive about it. Sabrina was very consistent with giving updates and taking Bella on walks. I recommend booking her.”

“Marisa was wonderful to help care for our critters. They both look happy and well taken care of getting home from our trip, she did a great job! We really appreciated the photos and comments about how they were doing at each check in as well.”

“Aimee took wonderful care of our dog! Our dog is getting older and she was patient and caring. Aimee provided quality care that reassured me that he was fed and loved. Thank you Aimee!!!”

“Julie was so wonderful with our cat who needs subcutaneous fluids injected daily. She updated us with a very detailed report on how our cat did (awesome under her care) and gave us many photos which is always so great when you’re away from your precious pet. Would highly recommend, especially for anyone who is worried about giving their furry friend meds while they are away.”

About: I’ve taken care of lizards and dogs. I’ve trained my own dog, and he has been canine good citizen certified. My dog gets along well with other dogs but in the event of an issue I have pens and crates to separate animals with consent. I currently provide time to walk my dog each morning, afternoon and night with play time during the day as I work from home. I am very flexible. 2-3 walks daily, with play time or training once to burn energy. My complex has a dog park which I utilize about once a week

“I want to give Rachel a special thanks for doing an awesome job taking care of my two dogs. She kept us informed with everything and we were able to enjoy our vacations without any worry. She followed our instructions and took pictures of the dogs while with them. We know our dogs were in good hands. Thanks again!”

About: We are animal lovers who would love to have your dog or cat stay overnight, for a weekend or a week! We currently have three dogs and 4 cats. We also have various foster dogs at any given time. Some are a little shy but they are all socialized and well behaved. We prefer to take the dogs on a walk when meeting but the interaction is entirely dependent on you and your dogs comfort level since you know your best friend best. We have a fenced in backyard perfect for running and playing. We try to walk the dogs several times a week. Although we have a crate, we don't use it unless your dog is not house broken or if your furry friend needs some alone time while eating. Come on by for a "bark, sniff and greet". We have plenty of doggie beds and cat perches so that your furry friend will feel right at home. We treat all dogs like family so you have no worries while on vacation! I work from home part time so I am available to take care of your furry friends. My personal dogs love other dogs and are very eager to greet new dogs. I have a fenced in yard that backs up to a creek. My neighbors on one side have chickens and on the other side the neighbor has a dog.

About: I have owned and been around dogs my whole life and can provide loving and reliable care for your pup! I am an avid hiker and outdoorsman so I can ensure your dog gets all the activity and tlc he or she needs! I am a research scientist whose work entails a heavy remote component so my schedule is very flexible. I often take my dog Popeye for an hour walk in the morning around 8 and with shorter walks throughout the day and give him one more big play session at night once I’m done working. I heavily emphasize active engagement with my dog as with others. I believe dogs should engage in active play and social interaction as much as possible to live their best lives. Nothing is more heartbreaking than when a dog has to stay pent up all day with no stimulation

Lynett S.
“I can’t recommend Lynett S. enough as a pet sitter and dog walker! She has been an absolute lifesaver for me and my pets. Lynett has watched, walked, and played with my Jack Russell terrier, Buddy, my Corgi, Stout, my Rat Terrier, Roo, my Border Collie, Gizmo, and my Pug, Harley. Every time I’ve had to leave town, I’ve been so at ease knowing that she’s looking after them. What's even more telling is how the dogs react when we pick them up—they’re always so happy and comfortable with her that they don’t even want to leave! Unlike other sitters, my dogs can’t wait to come back to Lynett’s care. It’s clear that she has a special connection with animals. Lynett’s love for animals extends beyond dogs—she’s also owned birds, fish, hamsters, and gerbils, so she’s experienced in caring for all types of pets. Her heart of gold, patience, and gentle nature make her an incredible choice for any pet parent. She’s responsible, caring, and trustworthy—any pet would be lucky to have her as their sitter!”

Alex B.
“Alex has done the work to become educated and informed on dogs and their behavior and the proper ways to care for them. He understands that dogs have different personalities just like people and he knows the steps to take when new dogs come together or being around many dogs at one time. I’ve seen first hand bringing two dogs together and helping them adjust and be comfortable. His own dog is extremely well trained which just shows his commitment and care for pets in general. I have the upmost confidence that Alex will take just as much care with other peoples pets as he does with his own dog. I would recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet.”
