“Andrea did a wonderful job watching my babies while I was out of state for work. I have two kitties and require love and affection once a day to check in on them and ensure food and water is full and fresh. She also was able to help move my cats to my room when a sudden leak occurred causing maintenance needing to replace my whole tub while i was gone! 😅 Andrea was easy to reach and more than willing to help out!! Will definitely become a repeat customer!”

“Sarah was a perfect pet sitter! She did drop in visits for our 2 cats and a bunny. She went above and beyond with the litter and took awesome photos that set our mind at ease! Will rebook for sure!”

“Stacy is amazing!! I always come home to happy cats. She's been very flexible, and always follows instructions exactly. She even helped raise a litter of kittens, all were adopted healthy and happy! Highly recommend her as a sitter, she'll always be our first choice :).”

“Robin was awesome with my cat Peanut! Always on time, great pictures, and super considerate. One of my smoke alarms started beeping while I was away, and it was stressing out my girl, so Robin let me know and we worked together via text to get the smoke alarm sorted. She even put on the TV as background noise afterward to help Peanut feel better. That was above and beyond and I could not have been more grateful. I can definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a great pet sitter that will provide peace of mind while you're away.”

“Above and beyond expectations. My 4 cats were well cared for and it made it easier for me to enjoy my vacation. Will rebook with Sarah again in the future for all my sitting needs.”

“We love Katy! I have a special needs cat and she handled him with no problem (other than a little cat wrangling him from a few hiding spots!) She responded and communicated with us very well and I can't give enough stars. Thank you Katy!!!”

About: I’m a dedicated pet owner with hands-on experience caring for multiple dogs and cats in my own home. I currently have 3 boxers and 4 cats, so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I have experience with crate training, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and providing a safe, structured environment. Whether your dog is high-energy or more laid-back, I make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and treated like part of the family. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
