“Heather did an amazing job with our two large dogs. We have an 85lb Belgian Malinois who came to us from a kill shelter with a bite history, and is insecure around strangers in general. He warmed right up to her (I think he fell in love) and didn't want her to go!! Heather was even able to shave off a giant patch of hardened tree pitch from his belly, which I didn't get to before I left! (Remember, he is a Belgian and they climb trees) Our other dog is an older German Shepherd and Heather took amazing care of her as well, giving her walks and medicine when needed. Usually when we return from a trip the dogs freak out and are super needy, wanting attention because they have been ignored, and hyper because they have not been exercised well. Not the case here!! They acknowledged us and went to bed, the perfect response. Finally, I must say that if I hadn't seen the sheets in the wash I would have never thought she actually lived here during that time. The house was immaculate. If I could, I would adopt Heather into our family!”

About: I have owned pets since I was a kid.. from cats and dogs to birds, turtles, ferrets and even rats! My currently lifestyle of on and off traveling does not allow for me to responsibly keep a dog or cat so I’d love to adopt yours for the day, week, or month! I am pretty available throughout the week unless there is a work conflict. Currently no day is out of question. We can discuss further in chat. The ideal situation is for me to drop by your place and be with the pet in the environment that it is most familiar with. Separation anxiety is real and it’s harder when the pet is also in a new area. I will provide plenty of walks, playtime, & love of course! For pets with separation issues I am willing to stay in-home to ensure your baby feels at ease while you are away.

About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life but currently have no pups of my own so I am eager to spend time with all the furry companions!! With my flexible work schedule thurs-mon, I am available in the morning and afternoon to walk, run, play, and care for your dog. Tues and Wed I have no commitments except taking your pup on an adventure! Your pal will get plenty of love from me!! I get outside no matter the weather and look forward to having a pup pal along for the ride! I am very patient and also knowledgeable in potty training and basic tricks! I am happy to stay over at your home for overnight care or drop in to take your dog for a potty break or walk throughout the day. I can also board dogs at my home. I am very excited to hang out with dogs of any age or size! I adore our canine friends!! I work as a ski instructor from Dec-Apr so I am able to walk and care for pups prior to 745 AM and after 430 PM. I currently do not have a home in which I can sit dogs but when it comes to caring inside your home, I will treat it like my own and leave it better than I found it.

About: My dad has bred and trained dogs my whole life. And anytime anyone I know goes out of town I’m always the first one they call to watch their dogs. I adore dogs of all sizes, and more often than not, they admire me right back. I have experience with day old puppies, dogs that need extensive after surgery care, old dogs, dogs that have a lot of energy, shy dogs, tiny 4 pound Yorkies, and currently have a Great Dane of my own. All pets are family where I come from and saying “see you later” for few days to your pet is sometimes hard than saying it to a human, because it’s hard to explain to an animal that it’s only temporary. I promise to take the best care of your fur child in your absence. I work full time but have a pretty flexible schedule and aside from my own pup I don’t have a lot of other commitments. So I am happy to work with whatever schedule your fur baby is used to. I understand how important routine and consistency are, especially it nervous, elderly, or dogs in the middle of being trained. About: I have lived in Jackson for the past three years. Yes, you have seen me running through town with my absurd mullet. You may be wondering why my rate is so cheap, well, I live in a van and believe our community should support one another. I would love to take great care of your pet and get them outside frequently. I used to live with dogs and cats and have thought about getting a pet of my own. I have found I really enjoy taking care of pets before committing to having a pet of my own. Not only does it help you but also gives myself an opportunity to have great company on my walks and other outdoor activities. I am currently working at Black Tie Ski Rentals 3 days a week. Before work, I either go to the gym or skiing. After work, I usually head to the gym or head straight home. Other than part time employment, I have no other commitments, so your pet will be a priority. First and foremost, I ask the owner what they are comfortable with regarding their pet. Next, I will establish a relationship with the pet that makes myself and the pet comfortable. Usually after a day, I find the pet is accustomed to my presence and we get along great. I will respect all of your boundaries and look forward to meeting your furry friend!
