“What a great experience our girls had with such a nice family. Walks, playing in the creek, hugs and tons of love. As soon as we got home, the dogs just passed out from all of the play-time. Definitely would recommend Meg and her family and we'll certainly be using them again.”

“When you love your pets like any other family member there is a warmness you feel in your heart when they are taken care of. We were so excited to find someone responsive, friendly, easy to work with and most of all someone our fur baby was sooo comfortable and safe with. From the first message to the drop off to the pick up and all the adorable pics of our pet living his best life,,, she was the best!!!! I cannot say enough nice things about Randy and the peace of mind it gives us to have such an amazing person and place to take care of our dog. Huge thank you!!!!!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since the age of 12 along with working at a doggy daycare for 3.5 years and a veterinary research facility for a year. I have a passion for animals and pets. With a degree in Wildlife Science, I also have other animal handling skills including snakes, turtles, and birds! I am currently working a day job, and my schedule changes day by day but I am more than happy to coordinate a proper time to take care of your pets! I am able to walk, feed, water, play with and administer medication to your dog. I value enrichment and quality time with each animal. I also have experience dealing with aggressive and skittish behavior in animals.
“Absolutely! Here’s a short raving review as the dog owner, reviewing the sitter: I couldn’t be happier with the care Kiwi received - she came home happy, calm, and clearly well-loved! Elizabeth sent us cute photos of the dogs and gave Kiwi a great hike. I’ll definitely be booking again when I need to and highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter!”

“Kara and her husband were very nice and made our pups really welcome and happy. They took them for walks in the snow and they loved it. We look forward to seeing them again in the future.”

“Joe is such a gem of a human being. He took incredible care of our pup, did fun outdoor activities with him, sent us detailed (and hilarious) updates twice per day, and just seemed to genuinely enjoy having another dog around. If we come back to Jackson, we will absolutely book with Joe again. We can’t recommend him enough!”

“Tracey was absolutely amazing! She kept me updated throughout the weekend with multiple messages, which I really appreciated. I could tell Winston had a great time—he was completely worn out and slept the entire day after I picked him up! I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.”

“I am so happy with our experience with Gabriela. We were in town for a few days and wanted to hike some trails where dogs aren’t allowed. We boarded our dog Libby with Gabriela for a few days and it seemed to go great! Libby loved Gabriela and her dog. Our Libby is very energetic and requires oral medications — Gabriela seemed great with this. She also was an excellent communicator both leading up to and during the booking. I highly recommend Gabriella — I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“We feel really fortunate to have found such a special carer in Dana. Our sweet guy, Gully, had an amazing time with her crew while we were out of town for 4 nights. It was wonderful to know he was safe and busy, and Dana kept us up to date on all his adventures with tons of pictures and videos. He came home happy and tuckered out, but we can already tell he can’t wait to go back.”

“Liza and her daughter were the absolute best! I can’t recommend them enough! We booked last minute and they were extremely accommodating and the kindest people. They took Charlie for hikes and swimming. We felt so comfortable leaving Charlie with these two and I would highly recommend them if you are visiting Jackson!”

About: What Sets Me Apart For me, dog sitting isn’t just a job—dogs are my absolute best friends, my ultimate road trip companions, and my favorite hiking buddies. I know firsthand that your pup isn’t just a pet; they are a member of your family, and I treat them exactly like my own. What truly sets me apart is that I have successfully navigated almost every stage of a dog’s life, from the boundless energy of puppyhood to the tender, specialized care required in a dog's golden years. Because I also have a professional background in long-term, high-trust childcare, providing a reliable, safe, and highly communicative environment is second nature to me. My Services & Activities Whether your dog thrives on a quiet routine or loves to be on the go, I adapt to their personality. I offer dedicated dog walking, drop-in visits, and personalized house sitting. My style of pet care includes: Outdoor Adventures: Perfect for high-energy dogs who love hiking, exploring trails, and getting plenty of intense physical stimulation and fresh mountain air. Social & City Manners: I love taking well-behaved pups along for coffee shop runs or car rides, ensuring they get mental enrichment, positive reinforcement, and healthy socialization. Homebody Comfort: For seniors or anxious pups, I am entirely content slowing things down, keeping them cozy, and giving them all the belly rubs and focused companionship they deserve. Every walk or visit includes fresh water top-offs, standard feeding or medication administration if needed, and a detailed update with plenty of photos so you have total peace of mind. Schedule & Availability I work on a flexible, part-time schedule, which means I am not tied to a rigid 9-to-5 office job or a daily commute. This flexibility gives me dedicated, open blocks of time throughout the week to fully commit to your pet. When I am booked for a service, your dog gets my absolute, undivided attention, ensuring their daily routines remain consistent and uninterrupted. Deep Senior Care Experience I spent over 15 wonderful years caring for my previous dog, supporting him through every single life stage from the day he was adopted to his senior years. I understand the patience, gentle touch, and intuition it takes to care for aging pets, whether that means managing strict medication schedules, monitoring mobility, or just providing a calm, comforting presence. Puppyhood & Training Know-How Currently, I am raising my 10.5-month-old English Labrador, Eggs Benedict. If you have a younger pup, you can rest assured I am well-versed in the daily consistency required for puppyhood. I am actively involved in training, reinforcing good manners, and maintaining crucial routines so your pup stays on track while you're away. When your dog is with me, they don't just get a sitter—they get a dedicated companion who understands their needs, respects their routines, and loves them like family. Pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it is my daily lifestyle. I currently raise a 10.5-month-old puppy, so my home naturally runs on a structured schedule of crate training, active outdoor exercise, regular potty breaks, and daily training reinforcement. Professionally, I work in childcare Monday through Thursday. My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily step away to pop home, walk dogs, and keep precise feeding and medication schedules perfectly on track. On any given week, a guest dog seamlessly integrates into an active, enriched routine. This includes neighborhood walks, social playdates with trusted neighborhood dogs, and plenty of outdoor time. Because I am already deeply committed to maintaining my own puppy's routine, keeping to your dog’s specific daily schedule—whether they need high-energy hikes or structured crate and rest time—comes naturally to me. Safety First, Always With over six years of professional experience in childcare, safety and situational awareness are second nature to me. I bring that same high level of vigilance, patience, and risk management to pet care. Whether at my home or yours, I am expert at anticipating a dog's needs, managing environments to prevent accidents, and reading canine body language to ensure they always feel secure. In My Home: Structured, Active, and Secure When a dog stays with me, they enter a home tailored for a happy, balanced dog life. Because I am currently raising a 10.5-month-old English Lab, my environment is fully puppy-proofed, secure, and organized around a predictable routine. Compatibility & Socialization: I love hosting friendly guest dogs who enjoy a bit of playtime. We do structured doggy playdates with my close circle of trusted friends and their dogs, ensuring all social interactions are safe, positive, and supervised. Routine & Rest: I am a big believer in the balance of physical exercise and proper rest. My home is set up for successful crate training and designated quiet time, ensuring your dog gets the decompression they need after a fun day. In Your Home: Respectful and Attentive If I am caring for your pet in your home, my priority is maintaining their absolute comfort and peace of mind. Keeping to Their Schedule: I strictly adhere to your established house rules, feeding times, and crating routines so your dog experiences zero disruption while you are away. Home Security & Cleanliness: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My flexible schedule allows me to make regular check-ins to ensure your pet is never left lonely or waiting for a potty break. No matter the setting, my goal is to build a foundation of trust with both you and your pup, ensuring they are safe, happy, and treated like family.

About: For the last 10 or so years I have been taking care of peoples pets. Most recently I was living in Jackson, WY and was able to consistently get more and more pet sitting gigs that lasted anywhere from 3 to 11 nights. If housesitting I'm always happy to toss some dishes in the washer, or vacuum so that when you get home, things are nice and tidy. I also have a pressure washer and all the equipment needed to bring a car wash to you while you are out. I work in the 5 points neighborhood. I can fit a walk in before and after my evening shift. I also have a Suburban so I can transport them if need be. Just making sure doors are locked and I know where the pet is at all times. This also goes for mandatory leashing. I just want to make sure there are no problems, especially in a urban environment like Denver.
About: I have been caring for various pets for family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. I enjoy dogs the most, but have taken care of cats, lizards, snakes, and many plants as well. I have taken care of older dogs who have special requirments. I am free after 4:00pm most nights, although my schedule is subject to change. I often go to work ant 6:30am and return 4-5pm. Other needs can be discussed if necessary. I follow whatever the animal and the home needs. I believe in positive behavior learning, treats, and loving pets. I prefer to care for animals in the saftey of their own home while their loved ones are away. About: Welcome to Barron's Leash, Jackson Hole's private residence dog boarding and pet concierge service. Private Dog Boarding: $250/night Only one client family is accepted at a time. New to Rover? Save $20 with promo code: MIKEH40 Dogs have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, have owned and trained German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs), and have spent years developing advanced handling, recall, and obedience skills in real-world environments. Beyond boarding and pet care, I have trained hunting dogs, worked extensively with e-collar recall training, and successfully guided my own dog, Char, through AKC agility testing. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior, communication, drive, and temperament across a wide range of breeds and personalities. As founder of Barron's Leash and one of Jackson Hole's top-rated Rover sitters, I've hosted hundreds of successful boarding nights for local families, second-home owners, and visitors to Jackson Hole. Unlike traditional boarding facilities, I accept only one client family at a time and focus on individualized care in a secure private residence. Whether your dog prefers mountain adventures, long walks, wildlife watching from the window, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, every stay is tailored to their individual needs. My goal is simple: provide the kind of care I would expect for my own dog—safe, reliable, attentive, and stress-free. Pet care is a central and joyful part of my daily life here in Jackson Hole. Because I operate a flexible, home-based business, I spend the majority of my day with the dogs in my care. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular exercise, individualized attention, and consistent companionship throughout each stay. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept so that every guest receives the highest level of care, supervision, and comfort. Unlike many traditional boarding environments, dogs staying at Barron's Leash spend their time in a private residence where their daily routine, well-being, and happiness remain the priority. Whether your dog enjoys outdoor adventures, leisurely walks, wildlife watching from the window, or simply relaxing indoors, every stay is tailored to their individual personality and needs. Your dog's safety, comfort, and well-being are my highest priorities. Barron's Leash operates from a secure, dog-friendly private residence designed to provide a calm, structured, and low-stress environment. Outdoor time takes place in a securely managed environment and is always supervised. Depending on your dog's temperament, training, and your preferences, activities may include leashed walks, structured play, or carefully managed off-leash adventures. I maintain consistent routines and clear expectations that help dogs feel comfortable, confident, and secure. From mealtimes and potty breaks to exercise and relaxation, each stay is tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether relaxing at home or exploring Jackson Hole's trails and open spaces, your companion receives attentive, professional care guided by safety, sound judgment, and respect for the trust you've placed in Barron's Leash.

She was very responsive, sent frequent updates, and took great care of my pups with lots of personalized attention. Her property is ideal too, her house is set up to be very friendly and comforting for the dogs and she has a ton of outdoor space on her property for them to get exercise. Her dogs are also very sweet and socialized and got along well with my dogs. Thanks again Natalie!”

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of Gracie! She loved all the walks and attention. It was very apparent, when on her second day with you, she eagerly walked right through the gate & back to your place. She’s a bit of a shy little Springer but she obviously found comfort & safety with you. Thank you so much for that! We also very much appreciated the updates & all the pictures. It put our mind at ease that she was safe & happy. If we’re ever back in Jackson, you’ll be our first call! Thank you!”

I've cared for tons of dogs in my life time, including but not limited to labrador retrievers, bichon frise, bernese mountain dogs, golden doodles, and mutts. About: Having grown up with dogs and cats I’ve been around them my entire life. Adopting a dog about 6 years ago has changed my life for the better. Adopting a pregnant cat was quite the experience! Happy to go on walks, have play time, administer medications including shots, and just cuddle with cats and dogs. I’m currently a full time student, all online, so my visit times can be very flexible. I have no set schedule for classes, and can schedule around other appointments that may come up. I’ve worked in Caretaking and property management for about a decade, combine that with having multiple cats and a dog I know how it can feel to be away from home and wondering how things are going. Timely communication is key!

“My husband and I were getting married in Beaver Creek last weekend and needed a walker to get our pup Bruno after the ceremony / pictures and before the reception. We contacted Taylor after another walker cancelled 2 days before we had to head to Beaver Creek and she was super responsive, asked clear questions to make sure she had all relevant information and took great care of Bruno. Our wedding was at the top of a mountain so it required taking a shuttle we’d arranged up and down the mountain and leaving Bru in our condo and she made sure everything went seamlessly. She was in contact with our planner, on time, sent us photos of Bru before dropping him off and made sure he safely was all set in our condo before leaving. Having Bruno in our wedding was really important to us and it was hard for us not to be able to personally get him back to the condo so I can’t emphasize how amazing Taylor was. Seeing smiling, happy pictures of Bruno as we headed into our reception was amazing. I cannot recommend Taylor enough. Thank you, Taylor!!!!”

“Claire really helped me in a bind! While down with Covid, I needed help getting my pup out to burn off his puppy energy. Claire not only answered the call super last minute, but she ran my puppy for me! I’m so grateful.”

About: I have owned pets since I was a kid.. from cats and dogs to birds, turtles, ferrets and even rats! My currently lifestyle of on and off traveling does not allow for me to responsibly keep a dog or cat so I’d love to adopt yours for the day, week, or month! I am pretty available throughout the week unless there is a work conflict. Currently no day is out of question. We can discuss further in chat. The ideal situation is for me to drop by your place and be with the pet in the environment that it is most familiar with. Separation anxiety is real and it’s harder when the pet is also in a new area. I will provide plenty of walks, playtime, & love of course! For pets with separation issues I am willing to stay in-home to ensure your baby feels at ease while you are away.

About: I am excited to take your dogs on walks, hikes, and any adventure they need! I can work with dogs of all ages and give them lots of love. My schedule is quite flexible. I’m currently in grad school online for education. On work days I am still available for walks every four hours. I wake up early to give immediate love and attention to pets. I’m a high energy girl so your pets will have several walks/runs per day. I will leave your home clean and tidy. I can follow schedules well, just let me know what your pets need!
About: I have been surrounded by animals from a young age, as my family has always fostered dogs. This upbringing has instilled in me a deep love and understanding of animals, and caring for pets is something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with dogs, understanding that each one has its own unique needs. In New York, I served as a Manager at a Doggy Daycare for two years, and after relocating to Colorado, I held a similar managerial role at a Doggy Daycare in Longmont. Following the closure of that business, I transitioned into a managerial position at an Animal Hospital, further broadening my experience in the pet care industry. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and attention I would give to my own, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared-for while you're away. I'm currently working from 7am-12pm and then I go back to work from 1-6pm Monday through Thursday as a Supervisor at an Animal Hopsital. Some days I may work 10-6pm and 7-9pm. I am able to provide exercise for your animals during my breaks or check in on them at that time, then spend the night after work. Feeding schedules may need to be modified but I assure you I will take care of your animals like my own! I also do have 2 kitties of my own but I am able to work around schedules to accommodate. I love to provide an enriching time for your animal in your home. My favorite thing to do is bring your dog for a long enriching and stimulating walk in nature so they can explore all the smells and sounds on their own. I also always send a few pictures to owners each stay/walk to make sure you stay updated with our activities.
About: I am a trustworthy, reliable, and caring animal lover. I am also very conscientious of each home I am in and treat it with the respect and care I do my own. I am currently pet sitting full time while taking continuing education. I am flexible in my schedule. I can work days, nights, and weekends. I take my classes online so I am mobile. If needed, I can be with your pet most of the day and night. I care for your pets in the security of their own home or/and take them on walks in their neighborhood. I can also take them out on dog friendly trails if preferred. I meet them in the environment they feel most comfortable.
Large windows overlooking Jackson Hole's natural surroundings offer plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities—what many guests quickly come to enjoy as their own version of "dog TV." Outdoor time takes place in a securely managed environment and is always supervised.

“What a great experience our girls had with such a nice family. Walks, playing in the creek, hugs and tons of love. As soon as we got home, the dogs just passed out from all of the play-time. Definitely would recommend Meg and her family and we'll certainly be using them again.”
