“We had a great experience with Moriah. She walked Noodles for a full hour and Noodles came back happy, calm, and well-exercised. Communication was easy and reassuring, and we really appreciated the care and pics while we were skiing all day. We’d happily book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind Rover. 🐾”

“Katherine is the best. She has been so, SO helpful, and cares so much for my puppy Spud. Spud and I appreciate all of her play dates and her flexibility with my changing schedule.”

“We booked Desi for a dog walk while we were skiing. She was so great, she provided updates and pictures and detailed her day with Skippy. We highly recommend her and would definitely book Desi again!”

About: My family always had multiple dogs at various stages of life: potty training, post-op PT, on / off leash, bird dog drills and de-shedding. I am comfortable giving medications or exercising your pet if needed. I currently work from home on 5 acres of wooded hillside in Wilson. I am able to transport and care for your pet 24/7 if necessary. I will ensure your pet is in sight at all times and given plenty of time outdoors or on lap as needed. They can play indoors or out on the property with a creek.
About: Oliver Eastman Since I was born, I've been surrounded by animals. I've cared for tons of dogs in my life time, including but not limited to labrador retrievers, bichon frise, bernese mountain dogs, golden doodles, and mutts. Pet care usually fits around my full-time job, schooling, and caring for my own dog. As a college student, I need a lot of study time, but I am always sure to involve good dogs in it. I give them lots of love and exercise. I make sure to keep their brains stimulated and their hearts happy and their stomachs full. I truly love dogs, and caring for them gives me joy.
“Gabriela always takes excellent care of Dimples. We feel so good about him getting the chance to go on walks w her. We also appreciate her willingness to accommodate schedule changes!”

“Claire really helped me in a bind! While down with Covid, I needed help getting my pup out to burn off his puppy energy. Claire not only answered the call super last minute, but she ran my puppy for me! I’m so grateful.”

About: What Sets Me Apart For me, dog sitting isn’t just a job—dogs are my absolute best friends, my ultimate road trip companions, and my favorite hiking buddies. I know firsthand that your pup isn’t just a pet; they are a member of your family, and I treat them exactly like my own. What truly sets me apart is that I have successfully navigated almost every stage of a dog’s life, from the boundless energy of puppyhood to the tender, specialized care required in a dog's golden years. Because I also have a professional background in long-term, high-trust childcare, providing a reliable, safe, and highly communicative environment is second nature to me. My Services & Activities Whether your dog thrives on a quiet routine or loves to be on the go, I adapt to their personality. I offer dedicated dog walking, drop-in visits, and personalized house sitting. My style of pet care includes: Outdoor Adventures: Perfect for high-energy dogs who love hiking, exploring trails, and getting plenty of intense physical stimulation and fresh mountain air. Social & City Manners: I love taking well-behaved pups along for coffee shop runs or car rides, ensuring they get mental enrichment, positive reinforcement, and healthy socialization. Homebody Comfort: For seniors or anxious pups, I am entirely content slowing things down, keeping them cozy, and giving them all the belly rubs and focused companionship they deserve. Every walk or visit includes fresh water top-offs, standard feeding or medication administration if needed, and a detailed update with plenty of photos so you have total peace of mind. Schedule & Availability I work on a flexible, part-time schedule, which means I am not tied to a rigid 9-to-5 office job or a daily commute. This flexibility gives me dedicated, open blocks of time throughout the week to fully commit to your pet. When I am booked for a service, your dog gets my absolute, undivided attention, ensuring their daily routines remain consistent and uninterrupted. Deep Senior Care Experience I spent over 15 wonderful years caring for my previous dog, supporting him through every single life stage from the day he was adopted to his senior years. I understand the patience, gentle touch, and intuition it takes to care for aging pets, whether that means managing strict medication schedules, monitoring mobility, or just providing a calm, comforting presence. Puppyhood & Training Know-How Currently, I am raising my 10.5-month-old English Labrador, Eggs Benedict. If you have a younger pup, you can rest assured I am well-versed in the daily consistency required for puppyhood. I am actively involved in training, reinforcing good manners, and maintaining crucial routines so your pup stays on track while you're away. When your dog is with me, they don't just get a sitter—they get a dedicated companion who understands their needs, respects their routines, and loves them like family. Pet care isn't just a part of my routine—it is my daily lifestyle. I currently raise a 10.5-month-old puppy, so my home naturally runs on a structured schedule of crate training, active outdoor exercise, regular potty breaks, and daily training reinforcement. Professionally, I work in childcare Monday through Thursday. My schedule is incredibly flexible, allowing me to easily step away to pop home, walk dogs, and keep precise feeding and medication schedules perfectly on track. On any given week, a guest dog seamlessly integrates into an active, enriched routine. This includes neighborhood walks, social playdates with trusted neighborhood dogs, and plenty of outdoor time. Because I am already deeply committed to maintaining my own puppy's routine, keeping to your dog’s specific daily schedule—whether they need high-energy hikes or structured crate and rest time—comes naturally to me. Safety First, Always With over six years of professional experience in childcare, safety and situational awareness are second nature to me. I bring that same high level of vigilance, patience, and risk management to pet care. Whether at my home or yours, I am expert at anticipating a dog's needs, managing environments to prevent accidents, and reading canine body language to ensure they always feel secure. In My Home: Structured, Active, and Secure When a dog stays with me, they enter a home tailored for a happy, balanced dog life. Because I am currently raising a 10.5-month-old English Lab, my environment is fully puppy-proofed, secure, and organized around a predictable routine. Compatibility & Socialization: I love hosting friendly guest dogs who enjoy a bit of playtime. We do structured doggy playdates with my close circle of trusted friends and their dogs, ensuring all social interactions are safe, positive, and supervised. Routine & Rest: I am a big believer in the balance of physical exercise and proper rest. My home is set up for successful crate training and designated quiet time, ensuring your dog gets the decompression they need after a fun day. In Your Home: Respectful and Attentive If I am caring for your pet in your home, my priority is maintaining their absolute comfort and peace of mind. Keeping to Their Schedule: I strictly adhere to your established house rules, feeding times, and crating routines so your dog experiences zero disruption while you are away. Home Security & Cleanliness: I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My flexible schedule allows me to make regular check-ins to ensure your pet is never left lonely or waiting for a potty break. No matter the setting, my goal is to build a foundation of trust with both you and your pup, ensuring they are safe, happy, and treated like family.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet-sitting regularly for the past 10 years. I love all animals and would be so happy to watch yours! I work in town during the week so I can let your dog out in the morning before work, sometimes during lunch, and after work. I can do whatever you need me to do (shut doors, put in crate, etc) to make sure your pet is safe and sound. I am a good communicator and will reach out if needed.
“My husband and I were getting married in Beaver Creek last weekend and needed a walker to get our pup Bruno after the ceremony / pictures and before the reception. We contacted Taylor after another walker cancelled 2 days before we had to head to Beaver Creek and she was super responsive, asked clear questions to make sure she had all relevant information and took great care of Bruno. Our wedding was at the top of a mountain so it required taking a shuttle we’d arranged up and down the mountain and leaving Bru in our condo and she made sure everything went seamlessly. She was in contact with our planner, on time, sent us photos of Bru before dropping him off and made sure he safely was all set in our condo before leaving. Having Bruno in our wedding was really important to us and it was hard for us not to be able to personally get him back to the condo so I can’t emphasize how amazing Taylor was. Seeing smiling, happy pictures of Bruno as we headed into our reception was amazing. I cannot recommend Taylor enough. Thank you, Taylor!!!!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals from a young age, as my family has always fostered dogs. This upbringing has instilled in me a deep love and understanding of animals, and caring for pets is something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with dogs, understanding that each one has its own unique needs. In New York, I served as a Manager at a Doggy Daycare for two years, and after relocating to Colorado, I held a similar managerial role at a Doggy Daycare in Longmont. Following the closure of that business, I transitioned into a managerial position at an Animal Hospital, further broadening my experience in the pet care industry. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and attention I would give to my own, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared-for while you're away. I'm currently working from 7am-12pm and then I go back to work from 1-6pm Monday through Thursday as a Supervisor at an Animal Hopsital. Some days I may work 10-6pm and 7-9pm. I am able to provide exercise for your animals during my breaks or check in on them at that time, then spend the night after work. Feeding schedules may need to be modified but I assure you I will take care of your animals like my own! I also do have 2 kitties of my own but I am able to work around schedules to accommodate. I love to provide an enriching time for your animal in your home. My favorite thing to do is bring your dog for a long enriching and stimulating walk in nature so they can explore all the smells and sounds on their own. I also always send a few pictures to owners each stay/walk to make sure you stay updated with our activities.
About: My dad has bred and trained dogs my whole life. And anytime anyone I know goes out of town I’m always the first one they call to watch their dogs. I adore dogs of all sizes, and more often than not, they admire me right back. I have experience with day old puppies, dogs that need extensive after surgery care, old dogs, dogs that have a lot of energy, shy dogs, tiny 4 pound Yorkies, and currently have a Great Dane of my own. All pets are family where I come from and saying “see you later” for few days to your pet is sometimes hard than saying it to a human, because it’s hard to explain to an animal that it’s only temporary. I promise to take the best care of your fur child in your absence. I work full time but have a pretty flexible schedule and aside from my own pup I don’t have a lot of other commitments. So I am happy to work with whatever schedule your fur baby is used to. I understand how important routine and consistency are, especially it nervous, elderly, or dogs in the middle of being trained. You tell me what your dog needs and that is exactly what will happen.
About: I have had many pets. I have trained dogs in the past, groomed, and enjoy walking pooches. Dogs usually respond really well to me. I believe in good discipline/orderly care. I have lots of love to share. I am available thru the summer fairly widely. Your pet’s care is top priority and will maintain scheduled appointments I am flexible with times and accustomed to changes. Able to provide trustworthy care with ample walking, massage, and loving discipline for dogs and cats. I am a reliable person who enjoys the company of animals.
About: I am excited to take your dogs on walks, hikes, and any adventure they need! I can work with dogs of all ages and give them lots of love. My schedule is quite flexible. I’m currently in grad school online for education. On work days I am still available for walks every four hours. I wake up early to give immediate love and attention to pets. I’m a high energy girl so your pets will have several walks/runs per day. I will leave your home clean and tidy. I can follow schedules well, just let me know what your pets need!
About: I have owned pets since I was a kid.. from cats and dogs to birds, turtles, ferrets and even rats! My currently lifestyle of on and off traveling does not allow for me to responsibly keep a dog or cat so I’d love to adopt yours for the day, week, or month! I am pretty available throughout the week unless there is a work conflict. Currently no day is out of question. We can discuss further in chat. The ideal situation is for me to drop by your place and be with the pet in the environment that it is most familiar with. Separation anxiety is real and it’s harder when the pet is also in a new area. I will provide plenty of walks, playtime, & love of course! For pets with separation issues I am willing to stay in-home to ensure your baby feels at ease while you are away.
About: Welcome to Barron's Leash, Jackson Hole's private residence dog boarding and pet concierge service. Private Dog Boarding: $250/night Only one client family is accepted at a time. New to Rover? Save $20 with promo code: MIKEH40 Dogs have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, have owned and trained German Shorthaired Pointers (GSPs), and have spent years developing advanced handling, recall, and obedience skills in real-world environments. Beyond boarding and pet care, I have trained hunting dogs, worked extensively with e-collar recall training, and successfully guided my own dog, Char, through AKC agility testing. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of canine behavior, communication, drive, and temperament across a wide range of breeds and personalities. As founder of Barron's Leash and one of Jackson Hole's top-rated Rover sitters, I've hosted hundreds of successful boarding nights for local families, second-home owners, and visitors to Jackson Hole. Unlike traditional boarding facilities, I accept only one client family at a time and focus on individualized care in a secure private residence. Whether your dog prefers mountain adventures, long walks, wildlife watching from the window, or simply relaxing in a calm environment, every stay is tailored to their individual needs. My goal is simple: provide the kind of care I would expect for my own dog—safe, reliable, attentive, and stress-free. Pet care is a central and joyful part of my daily life here in Jackson Hole. Because I operate a flexible, home-based business, I spend the majority of my day with the dogs in my care. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, regular exercise, individualized attention, and consistent companionship throughout each stay. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept so that every guest receives the highest level of care, supervision, and comfort. Unlike many traditional boarding environments, dogs staying at Barron's Leash spend their time in a private residence where their daily routine, well-being, and happiness remain the priority. Whether your dog enjoys outdoor adventures, leisurely walks, wildlife watching from the window, or simply relaxing indoors, every stay is tailored to their individual personality and needs. Your dog's safety, comfort, and well-being are my highest priorities. Barron's Leash operates from a secure, dog-friendly private residence designed to provide a calm, structured, and low-stress environment. Large windows overlooking Jackson Hole's natural surroundings offer plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities—what many guests quickly come to enjoy as their own version of "dog TV." Outdoor time takes place in a securely managed environment and is always supervised. Depending on your dog's temperament, training, and your preferences, activities may include leashed walks, structured play, or carefully managed off-leash adventures. I maintain consistent routines and clear expectations that help dogs feel comfortable, confident, and secure. From mealtimes and potty breaks to exercise and relaxation, each stay is tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether relaxing at home or exploring Jackson Hole's trails and open spaces, your companion receives attentive, professional care guided by safety, sound judgment, and respect for the trust you've placed in Barron's Leash.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
