About: Hey there!! I am somewhat new to Jackson (and Rover!) but I’ve been pet sitting since I was about 15! Back home in Michigan, my sister and I worked together and we cared for everything from cats and dogs to baby goats and chinchillas! My family always had dogs growing up, so I would say I’m very familiar with different behavioral signs to watch for. Each pooch is unique! I also understand how it can take some dogs a while to warm up to new faces-I am a former aussie mom, so I have a soft spot for working breeds who can sometimes be a bit wary of strangers! :) I currently work night audit in Teton Village. Because of my sleep schedule, I work 7 nights and then I’m off 7 nights. On my weeks off, I’m usually fully available and I love to go for walks or bike rides anyways. I would love to have a furry friend to go along with me!! Due to my housing situation, I am unable to care for pets in my own home. I have found that most cats and dogs are more comfortable in their own home anyway, so I think this works out! It can be stressful for them to be away from their people, so I think it’s good to stick to their familiar routine in their environment. On my weeks off, I’m available pretty much 24/7 to care for your pet. I do go to church on Sundays, but I can skip if we need frequent potty breaks. I also believe in letting the pet set the pace for meeting new people and the level of interaction. I know some dogs who mourn their owners absence and want the bare minimum of attention, and some who are overjoyed to cuddle and play fetch all day!
“Desi is amazing! She is very sweet person that cares for the dogs she meets. She took the time to learn various things that seem to cause anxiety in my dog during his time out on his walks. I can tell he genuinely likes her when she comes to walk him!”

About: I have been lucky to watch dogs of all sizes and temperaments! I love to play and get out energy or sit down and find the best scratch spot - whatever your pet needs! I work full time - pet sitting will primarily be a weekend endeavor. However any evenings, check ins or other more flexible check in’s are perfect! Clean, safe, and mindful :) Making sure that your spaces are kept how you left them and that your pet has a safe and cozy environment while you are away!
“OMG. Niki is amazing. She was on time every day, sent me updates of Ruby’s walks and took pictures which I love to see while I’m at work :) she even brought her hound Huck to walk with Ruby!! Looove it. Thank you so much Niki!! 10/10 would recommend to every dog momma out there. If I wasn’t moving across country she would be my go-to.”

About: Hi, my name is WilI. I grew up in Arizona with tons of animals in my life, and have watched animals for my friends /family for the past 5 years. Send me a message- always happy to chat and help someone out! I'm currently working full time 9-5, with a very flexible and dog friendly work environment. I can take the dogs on walks during my breaks an give them the attention they need! I can easily crate any animal if needed. I have a unfenced big yard for the animals to play in a great part of town.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and horses nearly my entire life. No animal is too big or small, friendly or scary. Here to help when you need it! I currently have a very flexible day job that allows me to have some side quests :) animal company is the best company especially in a town as scenic and lively as Jackson Happy to bring your animal on a little adventure or just stop by to check in. Whatever they, and you, are most comfortable with :)
About: Having grown up with dogs and cats I’ve been around them my entire life. Adopting a dog about 6 years ago has changed my life for the better. Adopting a pregnant cat was quite the experience! Happy to go on walks, have play time, administer medications including shots, and just cuddle with cats and dogs. I’m currently a full time student, all online, so my visit times can be very flexible. I have no set schedule for classes, and can schedule around other appointments that may come up. I’ve worked in Caretaking and property management for about a decade, combine that with having multiple cats and a dog I know how it can feel to be away from home and wondering how things are going. Timely communication is key!
About: Hi, I'm Rachel! I am originally from Pennsylvania and have been finding my home in Jackson Hole since 2019. I grew up around all sorts of animals from dogs and cats to hamsters and sheep. I've spent lots of time volunteering at local animal shelters through high school, college, and in my free time after college. During this time, I walked dogs, rolled around in kitty cities, helped train, and played with new puppy litters. I feel comfortable and confident with puppies and kitties as well as elderly pets and everything in between. I LOVE large dogs and cats especially. I also have experience caring for snakes, tortoises, lizards, and birds of prey so I can care for any non-traditional pets you may have as well. I’m not able to have any pets of my own so I would love to to care for any of your furry/feathery/scale-y friends while you are away! I work Monday- Friday 8am-5pm. For boarding, thankfully work about 15 yards from my home so I am easily available for letting dogs out or having play/potty breaks frequently throughout the day. If I am not boarding, I can use my lunch break to let dogs out that have the ability to go ~4 hours without direct care. On the weekends, I will make myself fully available to give all of the love to your pets! I have a tiny but comfortable house where dogs and cats are welcome to make themselves at home. I have a large yard that is unfenced, but is full of lots of grass (right now, lots of snow!) to play in. I also live in a walk-friendly part of town very close to a variety of trails and parks. I live an active lifestyle and would be more than happy to lay in the sun with your pets or go on a trail run adventure together! If house sitting, I like to be able to visit prior to you leaving town to get your pet/plant/etc. rundown to become familiar with your norms and expectations. I plan personal time around the stay to spend majority of my time with your pet. I keep a very clean space and am also happy to take care of household needs while you are away!
“Madison took my puppy on her first walk with someone other than me. I felt comfortable knowing Joni was in good hands! She went above and beyond, was professional and kind and provided great feedback. Joni is worn out and happy to have made a new friend. Thanks again!”

“Claire took such great care of my dog Ackee! Claire was super communicative and flexible. Ackee loved her time with Claire - they went on so many adventures and I felt so good having someone who I could trust look after her.”

About: I have lived in Jackson for the past two years. Yes, you have seen me running through town with my absurd mullet. You may be wondering why my rate is so cheap, well, I live in a van and my heater has decided to stop working. I would love to take great care of your pet, and be warm for a few days. I used to live with dogs and cats and have thought about getting a pet of my own. I have found I really enjoy taking care of pets before committing to having a pet of my own. Not only does it help you but also gives myself an opportunity to have great company on my walks and other outdoor activities. I am currently working at Black Tie Ski Rentals 3 days a week. Before work, I either go to the gym or skiing. After work, I usually head to the gym or head straight home. Other than part time employment, I have no other commitments, so your pet will be a priority. First and foremost, I ask the owner what they are comfortable with regarding their pet. Next, I will establish a relationship with the pet that makes myself and the pet comfortable. Usually after a day, I find the pet is accustomed to my presence and we get along great. I will respect all of your boundaries and look forward to meeting your furry friend!
About: I am a trustworthy, reliable, and caring animal lover. I am also very conscientious of each home I am in and treat it with the respect and care I do my own. I am currently pet sitting full time while taking continuing education. I am flexible in my schedule. I can work days, nights, and weekends. I take my classes online so I am mobile. If needed, I can be with your pet most of the day and night. I care for your pets in the security of their own home or/and take them on walks in their neighborhood. I can also take them out on dog friendly trails if preferred. I meet them in the environment they feel most comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for a good amount of time. I love getting outside and walking with the pups and making sure they get a through amount of excercise. On my free time I’ve house sat for old bosses and friends that have taken off for vacation making sure their pups are well taken care of and happy while their owners are away. I am currently working as a freelancer. I have a flexible schedule and like to get outside early for walks while it’s quiet. I also like to make sure that the clients pets get enough time outside and are comfortable and happy while their owner is away. Making sure that the clients pet is happy is a priority. I like to keep a keen eye on clients pets and make sure their pets are comfortable and happy. Allowing for outdoor time in the yard and also double checking to make sure that they are well hydrated while going outside to play.

About: I’m a dog lover and have owned several dogs throughout my life - a cocker spaniel, 2 English setters, one chocolate lab and a golden retriever. Right now I’m single, live alone and I like to travel a lot. But I enjoy dog companions and want to make myself available to help you with your dog sitting needs. I’m a daily runner so I can take your dog on runs or long walks. I live near a pond where dogs can swim, and in general I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that is suitable for all types of dogs. I’m also a health nut, so I will only feed your dog good food and/or whatever is required of their diet. Thanks for considering me, I would love to take care of your dog when you need some extra help.
