About: I grew up with three dogs, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. I’ve also dog sat for my neighbors multiple times over the years and started feeding my neighbor’s cat when I was 11 years old. I truly love spending time with animals and especially enjoy taking dogs on walks and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I’m usually available on weekdays and most weekends. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I’ll make sure your pet gets lots of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away. I know trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I don't take that lightly. I'll always follow your instructions, keep your pet's routine consistent, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages.
“Gabriela always takes excellent care of Dimples. We feel so good about him getting the chance to go on walks w her. We also appreciate her willingness to accommodate schedule changes!”

About: Growing up with animals made the transition to petsitting seamless. Eventually, word of mouth really helped me grow as a pet caregiver and I treasure every experience. Every furbaby has their own quirks and unique needs. I make it a point to learn them and make them feel safe and comfortable while you're gone. Whether it's taking shorter walks for the older folks, or going on hikes with the younger ones, I build my days around their schedule and put their needs first. I have experience with a ride range of ages, and giving medication or supplements. When I take on a petsitting job, I make sure that my schedule revolves around their needs. From the time I wake up and go to bed, I make sure the furbaby gets taken care of first. I'm very much a home body and that works well with providing your pet with consistent attention. The pets' needs always come before mine. They eat before I eat. They get a potty before I've been able to open my eyes. I build a consistent routine for them to feel safe and respect any boundaries they, or you as the owner, put up. I have personal policies, like keeping the space clean and my items stowed away, to prevent accidents that lead to vet visits. I am always aware of any of their characteristics to spot concerns early on. I don't just show up and treat them as a roommate. I treat them as a family member until their owner gets back.
“Claire took such great care of my dog Ackee! Claire was super communicative and flexible. Ackee loved her time with Claire - they went on so many adventures and I felt so good having someone who I could trust look after her.”

“Katherine is the best. She has been so, SO helpful, and cares so much for my puppy Spud. Spud and I appreciate all of her play dates and her flexibility with my changing schedule.”

About: I grew up in a house with three cats and three dogs, so caring for pets has truly been second nature to me. I got my very first pet when i was 3 years old and proudly helped care for her from the start, learning early on how to be gentle, patient and attentive. Sharing pet duties with my siblings taught me how to juggle different personalities, routines, energy levels - whether that means long walks, playtime, quiet snuggles, or giving shy pets their space. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs of all temperaments and genuinely love getting to know what makes each pet feel safe and happy. Your pets will be cared for like family, with plenty of love, attention, walks and tail wags along the way! I currently work full time from 10am to 6pm, Tuesday through Saturday. I’m available for walking services before or after work, and boarding services any day of the week. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I live in a quiet apartment and don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pet will receive plenty of love and attention in a low-stress environment. My apartment community features a large grassy courtyard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, potty breaks, and stretching little legs. I also have easy access to the nearby pathway system, making it ideal for longer walks and daily exercise. I’m attentive to routines, leash safety and individual comfort levels, and I always follow any instructions you provide to help your pet feel secure and at home. Whether your pet loves playtime, peaceful naps, or long walks, I aim to create a safe, consistent environment where they feel cared for and loved while you’re away.

About: Growing up, I've had a poodle and have dog sat many breeds for friends. After moving from Chicago to St. Louis, I took care of a roommate’s Australian shepherd like it was my own, teaching him tricks and taking him for long hikes or runs. I love being in the outdoors, rain or shine, or snow and ice; I’ve ran a few marathons in Antarctica so bad weather or conditions doesn’t stop me from getting outside! I’m pretty intuitive when it comes to taking care of animals and can help train or teach tricks depending on how much time I have with animals. I love all animals and would treat each one as if it were my own! I have a very open schedule at the moment and can take pets out for daily exercise a few times a day. I do like to exercise and move myself and like to run a few times a week, or on the days I’m not running, I’ll go take a walk. I like to do my research for dog friendly places so we can all get a little exercise! I’d like to pretend to do what others would do in my own home and be as respectful as I can. I always clean up after myself but also try to leave a place better than when I find it.
About: Hi I’ve had dogs my entire life but currently don’t have a pet due to my rental requirements and job schedule. Experience with reactive dogs. I also have excellent referrals from the Animal Adoption Center here in Jackson. I currently work 2 jobs but have plenty of free time in the mornings and evenings depending on the day. My schedule opens up in the fall I will treat your home and pets with love and respect. I understand that pets are a part of the family. I look forward to helping you with your pet care needs
About: As a dedicated pet lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds, I understand the importance of providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for your companion. I've walked, fed, and played with countless pups, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. My goal is to make each walk an adventure while keeping your pet happy and healthy. You can trust that your dog will receive the best care and lots of love while in my hands! I currently work & live here in downtown Jackson, WY. I’ve been here for over 2 years so I know the area well & am able to get around to pretty much any nearby areas to care for your furry friend! I work overnights as a Night Auditor/Manager so my availability for daytime/evening is super flexible. It also gives me a chance to get outdoors during the day so I really enjoy getting outside for walks! To create a trusting environment for a pet while their owner is away, I make sure to stick to their routine as much as possible—feed them at the same times, take them for walks, and keep their playtime consistent. I spend quality time with them to build a bond, and provide a safe space where they can relax. Lastly, I am patient and attentive to their needs to help them feel comfortable and secure! About: Hello Friends! My name is Stephanie, I’m a dog lover who is attentive to every type of dog. I have personal experience loving a reactive dog, and am very attuned to different dogs needs. I enjoy taking your pup for walks, runs, playing outside, or playing gently inside. I can also help train and care for any of your dogs needs. I work 8 hour days M-Th downtown, and am available 24/7 Fri-Sunday. Although I'll be out most of the day M-Th, I'm available to make sure your pets get plenty of socialization and activity! I've very attentive and supervise your dog based on their individual needs. I'm highly attuned to our environment on walks and at the park and keep their best interests in mind.
About: I have been surrounded by animals from a young age, as my family has always fostered dogs. This upbringing has instilled in me a deep love and understanding of animals, and caring for pets is something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience with dogs, understanding that each one has its own unique needs. In New York, I served as a Manager at a Doggy Daycare for two years, and after relocating to Colorado, I held a similar managerial role at a Doggy Daycare in Longmont. Following the closure of that business, I transitioned into a managerial position at an Animal Hospital, further broadening my experience in the pet care industry. I am committed to treating your pet with the same care and attention I would give to my own, ensuring they feel loved and well-cared-for while you're away. I'm currently working from 7am-12pm and then I go back to work from 1-6pm Monday through Thursday as a Supervisor at an Animal Hopsital. Some days I may work 10-6pm and 7-9pm. I am able to provide exercise for your animals during my breaks or check in on them at that time, then spend the night after work. Feeding schedules may need to be modified but I assure you I will take care of your animals like my own! I also do have 2 kitties of my own but I am able to work around schedules to accommodate. I love to provide an enriching time for your animal in your home. My favorite thing to do is bring your dog for a long enriching and stimulating walk in nature so they can explore all the smells and sounds on their own. I also always send a few pictures to owners each stay/walk to make sure you stay updated with our activities.
“My husband and I were getting married in Beaver Creek last weekend and needed a walker to get our pup Bruno after the ceremony / pictures and before the reception. We contacted Taylor after another walker cancelled 2 days before we had to head to Beaver Creek and she was super responsive, asked clear questions to make sure she had all relevant information and took great care of Bruno. Our wedding was at the top of a mountain so it required taking a shuttle we’d arranged up and down the mountain and leaving Bru in our condo and she made sure everything went seamlessly. She was in contact with our planner, on time, sent us photos of Bru before dropping him off and made sure he safely was all set in our condo before leaving. Having Bruno in our wedding was really important to us and it was hard for us not to be able to personally get him back to the condo so I can’t emphasize how amazing Taylor was. Seeing smiling, happy pictures of Bruno as we headed into our reception was amazing. I cannot recommend Taylor enough. Thank you, Taylor!!!!”

About: I have owned pets since I was a kid.. from cats and dogs to birds, turtles, ferrets and even rats! My currently lifestyle of on and off traveling does not allow for me to responsibly keep a dog or cat so I’d love to adopt yours for the day, week, or month! I am pretty available throughout the week unless there is a work conflict. Currently no day is out of question. We can discuss further in chat. The ideal situation is for me to drop by your place and be with the pet in the environment that it is most familiar with. Separation anxiety is real and it’s harder when the pet is also in a new area. I will provide plenty of walks, playtime, & love of course! For pets with separation issues I am willing to stay in-home to ensure your baby feels at ease while you are away.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet-sitting regularly for the past 10 years. I love all animals and would be so happy to watch yours! I work in town during the week so I can let your dog out in the morning before work, sometimes during lunch, and after work. I can do whatever you need me to do (shut doors, put in crate, etc) to make sure your pet is safe and sound. I am a good communicator and will reach out if needed.

First time using Rover and Maria made the whole process so easy. Very communicative on updates and it was so nice getting photos of my dog, too. I even had a tiny mix-up with my old/new address on here (started an account years ago, but never used it) and she was understanding about it. Hoping to be a repeat client. Thanks so much, Maria!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
