We love dogs
I used to pet sit in Virginia before moving out here and our family has been thoroughly enjoying caring for dogs through Rover here in Jackson. Our family absolutely loves dogs and we are home most of the time since we homeschool our kids. We have lived in the Jackson area for 14 years. We have cared for a variety of breeds. It brings our family joy to have a pet around to show affection to and play with. We have a backyard and a great neighborhood for walking a dog right near Garaman Park. If your dog would like lots of attention, we would be a great option for you! The only pet in our home currently is a bearded dragon (lizard) that stays in a glass enclosure and almost every dog that has stayed with us has not even noticed him :)

Meg was absolutely amazing! She was great at communicating and keeping me updated with pictures throughout my dog’s stay. I would highly recommend her :)
This was Dollie's first time with a sitter. She's very attached to me so I was a little anxious to see how she would do. Meg and her children met us when we drove up and they all loved Dollie and Dollie reacted happily to them with a wagging tail. We were gone all day and until 10 p.m. which I had discussed beforehand with Meg. She sent me pictures of my happy content dog and even got her to eat which is sometimes a challenge for me. I would definitely choose Meg again to care for Dollie.
Meg and her family were great with Rhett. They took him on a nice walk and lots of playtime. He’s a very tired boy this afternoon. We are in Jackson Hole for a short time and it was great to have Meg available.

Meg was absolutely AMAZING! We were in town for a wedding and needed a place for our dog to stay for a few days while we were at an airbnb that did not allow dogs. It can be a bit intimidating to book a Rover sitter from far away since you can't do a meet and greet but Meg offered to have a phone call to make us feel comfortable before we even got to town and then she and her kids took phenomenal care of Mo! She sent tons of updates and pictures and understood his needs better than any sitter we've ever had! Whether you are visiting from out of town or a local, we would highly recommend using Meg to take care of your pup!
Meg is the best! The minute we met her we knew Huckleberry would be well cared for. He had a great day. Meg and her children took him for walks, played with him, and showered him with affection. She sent pictures throughout the day. When we're back in Jackson, we will surely want Meg to care for Huckleberry again! Thank you Meg!

Schedule
My kids and I are home everyday except to leave for music lessons and errands. We are gone on Sunday mornings for church. We love taking family walks with dogs multiple times a day and taking breaks from school to play. Dogs we care for typically love to snuggle up on the couch with us while we read and follow the kids and I around from room to room. Our home and furniture is very dog-friendly.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a backyard and since we all absolutely love dogs we would follow your instructions to keep your pet at ease. Your dog is welcome to sleep wherever is best for him or her in our home. We could absolutely use a crate but it’s not necessary. Our furniture is very kid-friendly which makes it pet-friendly as well.
A typical day
We typically go for a walk or outside to play as a family multiple times a day and are happy to take your dog out for many bathroom breaks and walks as needed.
