“Angie stayed at our house and took our dog out for adventures everyday. She even washed the sheets before she left. I am thrilled with Angie and I will definitely be asking for her services again.”

About: I adore animals! I have had both dogs and cats all my life. I care for dogs, cats, bunnies, horses and more in your home at your convenience. Need a holiday sitter, a regular drop-in sitter or a farmhand? You found one! I have a 13-year-old tabby cab who I have had since she was 4 months old. I have cared for dogs and cats all my life at home, for family, friends and neighbors. Many acquaintances and coworkers also rely on me for this. I have experience with puppies and kittens, adult dogs and cats and senior animals, and indoor/outdoor animals including horses, donkeys, bunnies and more. I also have experience caring for ill, injured and recovering pets as well as administering medication to pets including pills, eye drops, topicals, etc. I will care for, exercise and keep your animals safe and happy while you are away! I live in Victor and am available in Victor, Driggs, Alta, and Tetonia. I do my pet care visits as I complete errands and exercise around the valley. I do drop-ins, overnights and extended stays! I can visit or stay in your home to feed, pet, play with and clean up after your dogs and cats cats. I can also water plants, bring in the mail, take out the trash, and care for fish, gardens, etc. while you are out of town. I can take your dog(s) for short or long, walks and for errands or time outside your house as well.

“Olivia was fabulous!! She watched our pup when we we were visiting so we could spend a day at the National Park. She obviously has a way with dogs and ours took to her right away. She took him on a fun outing and sent photos. She was very accommodating of our scheduling needs. Highly recommend!!”

About: Happy to walk dogs during the day or at your home overnight. We are great with animals and love to take them on walks and play ball together. Long or short walks depending on how much exercise the dog wants is right up my alley. I work part time a few nights a week. Braylon also loves to walk and play with dogs alongside of myself. He truely has a love for dogs and dogs love him right back. We are not currently accepting dog sitting jobs at our home however we will happily watch the dogs at the owners home and/or take the dogs for daily walks.
“Maureen was so awesome. Sent lots of pics and updates which kept our minds at ease. She was so good to our babies and also left our house totally spotless. We appreciate her so much!”

“Can't say enough good things about Moriah! On top of great communication and total love for our two bernese mt dogs, she took care of a very serious health complication for our pup while we were away. Always a pet parents nightmare, but Moriah handled it with promptness and professionalism that went above and beyond. Everything turned out fine in the end! Moriah is amazing🩷”

“Our experience with Briana was A+++ perfect! We could not have asked for a nicer pet sitter! Our 2 dogs got along with her great, and she sent us many pictures while we were away which made us calmer while being away from the dogs. She had perfect communication too, which is very important. We will easily book her again for all of our next pet sittings! Again, not just an A+, but A+++ for Briana! PERFECT SITTER! Thanks again Briana!!!”

“Megan is wonderful as always! Our animals love when she comes and she’s so patient with our more nervous dog. She’s also a very respectful sitter of our house and we just adore working with her. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Nora was absolutely amazing with both of my dogs, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly cared so much about their well-being. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such great hands. She kept me updated, and gave them so much attention, love, and care. Both dogs were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when I got back — which says everything. If you’re looking for someone you can genuinely trust with your dogs, Nora is it. I will absolutely be booking with her again!”
“Britta is amazing! Britta checked in for potty breaks with our pup while we were away for the day and also stayed with her for an extended period of time at our house when we were out of town. She is very professional and punctual. Our dog can be a little wary of new people but Britta was patient and very sweet with her. I highly recommend using Britta for all your dog needs.”

About: Hello! My name is Halle and I have an endless love for animals. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I love getting to know your pets and treating them like my own. I cant wait to meet your furry best friend. I have a very open schedule and i'm only working a part time job so I can make sure that I can fit pet care into my schedule. How I care for pets in my home is by providing a fenced in yard for your pup to play in, and following the provided instructions the owner has given me. No other pets currently live here.
“Meredith was a wonderful caregiver for our elderly cat. She was reliable, a good communicator, and flexible with our schedule and needs. Our cat was well taken care of and our home was in great shape when we returned.”

“Claire did a great job house sitting and taking care of our dog and cat! She responded quickly to messages, asked great questions, and left the house tidy. I can recommend her and would work with her again!”
About: My dad has bred and trained dogs my whole life. And anytime anyone I know goes out of town I’m always the first one they call to watch their dogs. I adore dogs of all sizes, and more often than not, they admire me right back. I have experience with day old puppies, dogs that need extensive after surgery care, old dogs, dogs that have a lot of energy, shy dogs, tiny 4 pound Yorkies, and currently have a Great Dane of my own. All pets are family where I come from and saying “see you later” for few days to your pet is sometimes hard than saying it to a human, because it’s hard to explain to an animal that it’s only temporary. I promise to take the best care of your fur child in your absence. I work full time but have a pretty flexible schedule and aside from my own pup I don’t have a lot of other commitments. So I am happy to work with whatever schedule your fur baby is used to. I understand how important routine and consistency are, especially it nervous, elderly, or dogs in the middle of being trained. You tell me what your dog needs and that is exactly what will happen.
“Clare did a great job taking care of my cat and elderly dog. We had a rough start when the dog got some really bad GI issues right before I took off the airport. I hoped they would clear up in two days, but they didn’t, and Clare took him to the vet and helped him recover. It was a long drive for her and I really appreciate having someone trustworthy to take care of my best buds!”

“Rachel was the best. She came over a couple of days early to meet us and the dogs, she got to the house when she was supposed to, she walked the dogs and sent us pictures, and I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with her. I would definitely book her again and recommend her to friends who need a dog sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Victor
Ana has been a fantastic house sitter, leaving my house cleaner than it was when I left! She watched 2 of my Labradors for 9 days, and one of them is still a puppy. I was a little nervous because I hadn't left my pup before... but she understands dogs well and they got a lot of exercise, which is exactly what they needed. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Victor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Victor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Victor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Victor. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
