“Super kind, responsive, and clearly loves dogs! We will definitely call Olivia again, she took such good care of our hound dog, house, and extra things like watering plants!”

“Angela was amazing with my dog Hank and will definitely be using her again in the future! She sent me multiple pictures while I was away and I felt at ease knowing my little guy was in great hands.”

“Jessica took great care of our two dogs (one of which is a puppy and requires some extra eyeballs!). She gave them lots of exercise - walks and swims and tug-of-war etc - and paid special attention to the extreme heat this weekend. She also cleaned paws and kept things tidy and loved on them lots. Jessica sent photos and updates so we knew they were in good hands. Thanks for the good care, Jessica. Would love to book again!”

“Kyra took amazing care of my 2 dogs and my house! She had great communication, took them on great walks and sent lots of pictures and videos. They were very happy when we got home and my house was cleaner than I left it! I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again!”

“Maureen was so awesome. Sent lots of pics and updates which kept our minds at ease. She was so good to our babies and also left our house totally spotless. We appreciate her so much!”

“Claire was an excellent dog sitter for my border collie mix and I highly recommend her. I will definitely hope to have her stay with my dog anytime I should be out of town. I appreciate her attention to the details of my preferences, and my dogs care while I was gone as well as her help with following through on his training as I advised. My puppy was happy and tired. When I came home from all the activity she gave him.”

“Sarah watched our menagerie for a full 10 days and everyone seemed happy and healthy upon our return. She made sure to send us frequent updates and we trusted her 100% with the care of our home and pets in our absence.”

About: Hello! My name is Halle and I have an endless love for animals. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I love getting to know your pets and treating them like my own. I cant wait to meet your furry best friend. I have a very open schedule and i'm only working a part time job so I can make sure that I can fit pet care into my schedule. How I care for pets in my home is by providing a fenced in yard for your pup to play in, and following the provided instructions the owner has given me. No other pets currently live here.
About: Happy to walk dogs during the day or at your home overnight. We are great with animals and love to take them on walks and play ball together. Long or short walks depending on how much exercise the dog wants is right up my alley. I work part time a few nights a week. Braylon also loves to walk and play with dogs alongside of myself. He truely has a love for dogs and dogs love him right back. We are not currently accepting dog sitting jobs at our home however we will happily watch the dogs at the owners home and/or take the dogs for daily walks.
“I was soooo nervous leaving my dogs with someone they didn’t know, we had to leave for almost a week and Marissa watched our home and pets for us. Amazing would be an understatement!!! She kept in touch daily with photos and texts, always making sure I knew things were being well handled. She asked questions about things I didn’t even think of, like what day our garbage goes out and if I wanted her to get the mail etc. she left the house in great condition and was so kind and sweet to the dogs, pretty sure they didn’t even miss us!!!! Highly recommend Marissa!”

About: I absolutely love animals and especially dogs. I feel like there is no other genuine creature on earth like them. They have a big heart and love their human more than themselves. Taking care of a doggie it will be more a pleasure then a business. I love long walkes, play dates or just chilling. Shoot me a text with any questions 🦮 I currently work just mornings so I’m available daily after 4pm, Monday to Friday and in the weekends I am available most of the time . In the house I live in there are two big dogs ( not mine though). One of them is super friendly but the second one is not that good with other dogs. This is the reason why I would prefer pet sit in the customers house or just go out for walkes and play time.

My schedule opens up in the fall I will treat your home and pets with love and respect. I understand that pets are a part of the family. I look forward to helping you with your pet care needs

About: As an animal lover, I would love to help care for your pets! I even watch horses and larger animals for a larger fee. Let’s chat! :) I am available for mid-day check-ins, evenings and weekends as needed. Let me know what works for you, and I would be happy to accommodate! I am considerate and pride myself on attention to detail. I will care for your pet exactly as you expect and ensure that your needs are met!

About: I enjoy caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, chickens, goats, fish, and animals of all types but don’t have any of my own so am delighted to take care of your furry friends at your home while you’re away! I grew up running my small business (“Call Claire, the Odd Job Extraordinaire!”) as a responsible, reliable kid on the North Shore of Chicago where I pet sat, walked dogs, house sat, babysat, and provided lawn care, mail take-in services, and other help to dozens of local families in my neighborhood for many years. I also come highly recommended for my more recent pet sitting, horse sitting, and home caretaking work here in the Jackson Hole area. Notably, I have experience taking care of sick and chronically ill animals, managing their veterinary care in close collaboration with their owners. I look forward to working with you and taking good care of your furry friends and home while you’re away! I’m a recent Wharton MBA grad that works from home so can work from wherever there’s good wifi! Happy to structure my schedule around your animals’ needs. I can manage other aspects of home caretaking while you are away as well. I am happy to come to your home to care for your animals while you are away. Unfortunately, I do not have the capacity to board animals at my home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Cedron walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Cedron maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Cedron choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedron. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
