“Ricky is great. He really understands dogs and he likes our dog Petie a lot. He would take him out for walks when Petie asked, and got to know him well, and they developed a good friendship. He sent pictures and updates on Petie when we asked, and was very responsive. We feel Petie is in excellent hands with Ricky and will rely on him in thw future. He loves dogs.”

About: All my life I was surrounded with all kinds of dogs. Since my first dog golden retriever, I had a pug, toy terrier and 2 huskies 🥰 I work only couple days per week for 5 hours and have a side business from home, so I’m very flexible. Dog walking is perfect for me because I have a daily routine of walking in the morning and evening I have a safe space in my apartment and live 5 minutes from balboa park. I understand that each pet has unique needs, and I’m committed to providing the best possible care for your furry family member.

About: I have been sitting and training animals for almost 10 years now! I have extensive experience with nearly every breed and age of dogs and cats, and have worked with many other animals and species, including horses and reptiles. I even have some experience working with special needs animals! I am energetic and compassionate, and I would love to help you and take care of your furry (or not so furry) friends while you’re away! I take care of animals every single day, whether it’s a walking or sitting or training! It’s easy to work around the needs and schedules of my clients! I live in a complex with a fenced-in dog park that I use when there are no other dogs in the park. There’s also a city park just a few blocks away and a lake just a bit further. My apartment is large and open. I do have my own cat, Katana but she is very sweet and gets along with other animals!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I grew up with a black lab at home and now my family has another black lab. I have done extensive training with her and I’m now able to take her into stores and other public indoor spaces that are dog friendly. I have a passion for training dogs. I care a lot about animal health and will respect whatever rules you hold for your dog or cat. I have experience with leash aggressive dogs, and dogs that are not good with other dogs. I have a calm and caring demeanor that dogs pick up on immediately. I cat sit for my best friends cat quite often. I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to watch over pups and cats. I’m in school for herbalism and have night class 2x a week and day class every other Saturday. . I listen to the rules of the animals’ owner so they can keep up with their normal routine. They will be leashed if they are used to it, off leash if that’s what they’re used to. Animals are always the safest when you follow the same rules as their parents.

“Megan watched our 4 month old shitzu overnight for 3 nights and was incredibly caring and attentive to his needs. From the beginning to the end the communication was quick and she included photos and videos of our puppy’s adventures with her 2 sweet shitzus. Megan even drove an hour 1/2 to meet us during our travels both ways for pickup and drop off! We can’t say enough about her wonderful care! We were very fortunate to find her and felt so grateful to her kind care. Our puppy had a lot of fun!”
