Felix, who is not always sure about new people he meets, immediately took to Kathleen when she came to our home for a meet-and-greet. Kathleen sensed Felix’s apprehension and quickly put him at ease with her calm, affectionate, low-key response. On the basis of our visit, we mutually agreed to have Kathleen stay with Felix a few days later while we enjoyed a quick 24-hour getaway. While we were away, we had good, clear communication by text message. Although we were delayed getting home, Kathleen volunteered to stay until we returned so she could give us a verbal report, which we appreciated very much. When she left, Felix’s dejected body-language showed he was sad to see her go; clearly he had enjoyed her company. We look forward with confidence to having Kathleen stay with Felix again.”
About: Dog mom for the past 8 years and recently lost my girl to cancer. I'd be happy to love on your pup while you're away! I'm a full time teacher so only available for pet care on weekends and breaks during the school year but have full availability in summer. I love having dogs in my house where they can have their own bedroom space or share my room. 1.9 acres next to the rail trail means lots of walks and time spent outside. About: I have had my current dog for around 5 years now he has been with us through multiple moves all across the country, and I do the large majority of taking care of him and for the past year and a half I have also been taking care of a cat And also do the majority of taking care of him I am currently attending high school, but I have no other commitments besides that so I will be available over the weekend and on Friday nights and including any brakes from school I can give around the clock attention to your animals while I am there Along with feeding and walking them if your animals have any form of accidents, such as peeing or throwing up, I will also gladly clean that up

She got BOTH of them playing, brushed them, and made sure they knew they were loved on top of the bare minimum of feeding them and giving my old lady her meds. She even checked to make sure my hamster was still breathing while I was away since it was always during my hamster’s sleep time that she was there. Highly recommend. About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and am very accustomed to taking care of them, providing exercise, feeding, cuddling, etc… My childhood dogs were very sweet and I spent many hours walking them around the neighborhood and playing inside with toys while being responsible for their feeding/cleaning. I have a lot of experience with leashed walks, dog parks, electric fences/collars, inside pee pee pads and more. I also have experience working with elder dogs as well as anxious/reactive dogs. I’ve had many multi day to multi week long dog sitting experiences. Dog sitting has taken me all over the US, including Vermont, Maine, NYC and Santa Cruz, California! I work remote for an educational travel organization based out of Vermont! Because of this I have lots of free time to travel and move around. Working remote gives me a very flexible schedule, and I can be available at home with your loved dogs as much as needed to fit their schedule :) I am happy to come to your home and take care of your pets in your space. I am well versed with house sitting and respecting clients homes. I am comfortable walking dogs, using crates, fenced areas and whatever other set up is needed. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails! I work from home from my apartment and only have one roommate so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure that I could make just about anything work given a small notice. I have a two room apartment and a kitchen. Playing and feeding is easy for me in the apartment, but I also have a park right near me, about a 5 minute walk away.
