About: Dog mom for the past 8 years and recently lost my girl to cancer. I'd be happy to love on your pup while you're away! I'm a full time teacher so only available for pet care on weekends and breaks during the school year but have full availability in summer. I love having dogs in my house where they can have their own bedroom space or share my room. 1.9 acres next to the rail trail means lots of walks and time spent outside. About: All throughout my childhood, we had pets. Whether it be cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, or turkeys. I was the one taking care of the livestock and my dog, which I had a specific routine for. I'd get up early to wash out the ducks pool, and their water dishes, feed and then water them! I would put my dog on a leash outside while I did that, and made sure I could see him on the leash. I now have a rabbit, which has a bit of a different routine than the chickens did. I started housesitting in middle school and did it all the way up until 2021, after I graduated. I only recently moved, and I'm trying to get into petsitting again! I'm working fulltime right now, and my hours are currently 7-4. I work weekdays, and will be available fully on weekends, although I'm able to walk dogs before and after work, and even housesit throughout the week! While pet sitting/housesitting, I always have routines and make sure that they happen! I had routines with my chickens, and thoroughly followed that. I worked at a daycare that had a rabbit, and I would take him home on the weekends, and I had a specific routine for him as well. I will communicate it thoroughly and send photos whenever depending if you'd prefer that or not!
About: Throughout my whole life there have been multiple dogs in my family. I have had my own dog before, and trained her from eight weeks old. Also, I have dog/house sat for dogs of friends and family over the years! I work in the schools so I am looking to pick up a side hustle while on summer break! About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails!
