About: I have worked as a recurring dog sitter for several families over the past five years, each with a different breed of dog (Weimaraner, Schnauzer, Dachshund). This has equipped me with the specific tools and knowledge to provide exceptional care grounded in experience. Additionally, working with a wide range of breeds has afforded me the opportunity to familiarize myself with the varying behaviors and needs of different dogs. I deferred law school for one year to work on my creative writing. As a result, my schedule is very flexible and conducive to working around your family's unique pet care needs. I take pet health and safety vary seriously, practicing the same standards I use personally to keep my own pets safe. For me, this means maintaining a clean and tidy environment free from any potential hazards (e.g., not leaving chocolate at a level a dog could reasonably reach; making sure gates and doors are closed). In addition to maintaining a safe environment, I try to be emotionally tuned in to the animal I am watching. For instance, when the Weimaraner I watch gets anxious due to people walking past the house, I talk to her in a soft voice and pet her until she calms down. If I zip to the store, I will close the blinds so she is not in a position to be triggered by this stimulus.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails! I work from home from my apartment and only have one roommate so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure that I could make just about anything work given a small notice. I have a two room apartment and a kitchen. Playing and feeding is easy for me in the apartment, but I also have a park right near me, about a 5 minute walk away.

My work is remote so I can be anywhere as long as I have wifi. About: Ive been taking care of pets since high-school, from great danes to kitties! Including but not limited to great-danes, pitbulls, hounds, labs and kitties! I am good with animals of all temperaments, from timid and not sure to excited to see anything! I love all animals and would love to help with all your pet and house needs. I am currently part time and can work around your schedule as well. I already get up to take care of my hound, pitbull and kitties. I would love to help you out as well! I love animals and have experience with the animals that also make a mess. I change litter boxes and I can even clean up after the ones who can't always hold it. I feed, and give fresh water. I walk dogs and also have experience with pulling. I can also just let them out if trained to do so and hangout with them as needed!

About: Huge dog lover...I’m definitely the type of person to pay more attention to the dog in the room than the humans haha :) I have very open availability and would love to help out by caring for your furry friend(s)! As a dog owner myself I understand the level of trust that comes with leaving your pets with others. I’m quite active and can assure that they will receive chances to exercise if needed, in addition of course to love & affection.
