About: I love all animals and have fostered for the local Humane Society for the last couple of years. I am drawn to all animals regardless of type, size or breed. Sometimes the more unique the better but there’s something special about every pet. I work remotely so my schedule allows flexibility that is conducive to pet sitting. I am available 7 days a week. For instance, when the Weimaraner I watch gets anxious due to people walking past the house, I talk to her in a soft voice and pet her until she calms down. If I zip to the store, I will close the blinds so she is not in a position to be triggered by this stimulus.

About: All throughout my childhood, we had pets. Whether it be cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, or turkeys. I was the one taking care of the livestock and my dog, which I had a specific routine for. I'd get up early to wash out the ducks pool, and their water dishes, feed and then water them! I would put my dog on a leash outside while I did that, and made sure I could see him on the leash. I now have a rabbit, which has a bit of a different routine than the chickens did. I started housesitting in middle school and did it all the way up until 2021, after I graduated. I only recently moved, and I'm trying to get into petsitting again! I'm working fulltime right now, and my hours are currently 7-4. I work weekdays, and will be available fully on weekends, although I'm able to walk dogs before and after work, and even housesit throughout the week! While pet sitting/housesitting, I always have routines and make sure that they happen! I had routines with my chickens, and thoroughly followed that. I worked at a daycare that had a rabbit, and I would take him home on the weekends, and I had a specific routine for him as well. About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back.
