About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience including walks, overnight stays, and short visits. I also grew up with dogs and have lived with a few different cats in my adult life. I am new to the Rover app but am happy to provide references upon request. I work Monday-Friday 11-5 in Brattleboro. I can do overnights any day of the week, but just know that on these days I will be away for 6-7 hours depending on distance from your house. We’re far away from any car traffic and have a fenced in portion of the yard for pups to run around in. I spend a lot of time at home working in the garden, playing with Luddy, hiking, or running. Luddy is a very friendly pup who loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, and tends to tire his friends out...at which point he loves to fall asleep curled around another pup :)
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails! I work from home from my apartment and only have one roommate so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure that I could make just about anything work given a small notice.
