“Jie and her family were amazing dog hosts. She sent us daily updates and videos and was an incredible communicator. This was the first time we’ve left our furry children with someone and could not have been happier. We were so relaxed knowing they were in great hands and will recommend her and this service to all the pet owners we know!”

“Suki had a blast with Nicole and her husband! Nicole sent daily photos, updates on activities, and I brought home a very happy —and tired—dog. Suki will no doubt miss all the activities and snuggles! Thanks!”

“Swift, Brian, family were amazing with our two dogs! They sent lots of photos throughout the weekend and responded quickly. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend!”

“Letícia went above and beyond sharing daily updates, photos, and great videos the whole time. My dog had a better time with her than he does at home playing outside, going on hikes, and falling asleep on the dog bed. I’ll definitely utilize her for all future pet care.”

“Christian is great! He is patient, chill, and very good with dogs! I loved that our dog wanted to go back inside with him when we had to leave; that is a great sign!”

“I know Gizmo had a great time even on his first overnight because he is the anxious type but he ate and slept in. Both signs that he was comfortable and relaxed with John and Georgie. Much relieved to have them to care for Gizmo when we’re away. Thank you!”
“I can’t recommend Abby more! She was so accommodating and welcoming to our dog. She always kept us in the loop and was sending pictures of all the fun he was having. I’m so happy we have found someone that we truly feel comfortable leaving our dog with. Again, she is so so so amazing and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Amy was warm, kind, and incredibly attentive while caring for my dog. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my baby was in such good hands. Communication was great, and it was clear she genuinely cared. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her services!”

“Holly and her family were wonderfully accommodating and helpful with our pet Sylvie. They have a wealth of experience looking after dogs, and really appreciate their individual personalities and needs.Communication was great and I would hve them watch Sylvie again, anytime.”
“Hope took great care of my two doggies and was very receptive to both of their very different individualized needs. She kept in contact with me each day and was very kind.”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
“Hannah saved my wedding day!! Our scheduled dog sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us two days before our out-of-state wedding, and Hannah not only filled in last minute, she might be our pups favorite person💖 She is incredibly warm, they took to her immediately, and we were so grateful 🙏 Got lots of photos of them just relaxing around her and were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. Thanks so much, Hannah!!”

“Samantha and her family were amazing with Strider! She worked to figure out the best way to burn his energy and to keep him happy. As a bonus, she lives in an area any dog would love with places to hike and things to smell. I absolutely recommend her!”

“Laura was fantastic- she is every dog owner's dream for who you want caring for your pup when you are away. She was super communicative, shared pictures throughout our pup's stay and provided a safe and loving environment, allowing us to enjoy our holiday break. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
