About: Trained and handled 26 sled dogs for an expedition outfitter in Alaska. Combined 50 year experienced dog owners with a large wooded yard for on and off leash time. We are outdoor oriented so your dog will have plenty of outdoor time. We work independently from home and have a flexible schedule. We can host with short notice and have the ability to integrate your dog in our daily life easily. We will include your dog into our family as we care for our own 11 year old small dog. We love hosting on our small off grid homestead!

“John and Susan were absolutely amazing. my dog Pearl has been with us for five years and we’ve never boarded her out and we’ve never brought her to a doggy daycare or anything like that. I knew I didn’t want to bring my dog to a place that keeps her crated or in a kennel type situation. John and Susan treated Perl the exact way we treat her 💤🛌 sleeping in our bed, sleeping or in our lap, loving us, kissing us, going for walks, cuddle time spoiling her with treats. I would highly recommend John and Susan and little Miss Emily. They were so great with communication to let me know how she was doing, taking pictures and that just helped ease our minds so much…”

She kept in contact with updates and pictures throughout our time away. We could tell how happy Brady was when we picked him up....he almost seemed like he didn't want to come home...lol. “Julia is a great dog walker! I had her watch my energetic, but friendly 4 year old German Shep. Jamie and my older Maine Coon cat. Julia took the puppy out multiple times for walks and play time during her over night visit! She is super reliable and flexible in her schedule ! I already have Julia scheduled to dog & cat sit a few times over this month! She also gave my cat Oreo lots of attention and love. 😊”

“Caitlin is amazing! Originally I wanted to leave my dog with her for boarding, but after a recent surgery Caitlin and I agreed it would be better to keep her at my place and she would house sit. After the surgery, my dog had meds multiple times during the day and needed some extra care with bandages and involuntary potty cleanups. Caitlin kept in touch the entire time I was out of town and took care of my dog as if it were her own. I will definitely look to Caitlin again for future help!”

“This is the first time we have ever left our German Shepard with someone other than a family member and Ana has set a very high bar! She immediately made me feel comfortable during the introduction and our dog was at ease at once. She took our dog for walks in the woods with her dog Riley and they hung out together on the porch. Ana has been caring for pets for a long time and is a natural and kind caregiver. She was very flexible about drop off and pick up and sent us updates and photos during the stay. Ana is top on my list for any future dog caring needs.”
