Dog Boarding in Westminster Station, VT

About: I’ve was a pet sitter on the west coast for 12 years until I relocated to New England. Most of my clients are dogs but I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with cats, exotic fish and turtles too. I have experience with highly energetic herder breads, stubborn breads, frisbee super dogs, elderly dogs, special needs pups and everything in between. I’m active and enjoy hiking, playing ball and frisbee with k9 companions. I used to be a kindergarten teacher and find my perceptive sensitive nature is advantageous to both children and animals. I am currently working full time on an online accreditation, which gives me the availability to spend my whooooole day with your fuzzy buddies. I am Only accepting Long Term (4 days plus) pup sitting requests for which my price is negotiable. :) I currently work from home (or wherever my laptop is) so I am available full-time for your furry friend. I’m a bit of a hermit and very focused on my studies at the moment so my only consistent outing is to the gym for an hour a day, leaving me present in the home for your furry friend all day. Both my partner and I work from home in a small lofted cottage with a fenced in yard (about the size of half a tennis court) on 5 quiet acres.

“It appeared that Darley loved her stay with Christine. Christine sent us pictures and commentary every day while we were away. We really appreciated that. We were a little concerned that Darley and Christine's cat, Gonzo would not get along but I think all went very well. The yard around the house was good for letting Darley out and Christine took Darley to places where she could really get some exercise. We will want to return to Christine's in the future and definitely recommend her.”

“This was our first time using Rover and having Mary watch our dog Oreo for a few days! Mary sent us updates daily and asked important questions that helped Oreo feel more comfortable. “Hope was terrific! Our dog doesn’t do well in traditional kennels, left alone at night. He was calm and happy with her, and Hope was flexible enough to let us pick him up and drop off later in the middle of his stay. He had no problem returning to her house after a nearby hike, which says it all.”

We felt confident leaving him with Brianna due to her experience as a vet tech. She had a few absolutely adorable dogs and obviously takes great care of them which added even more confidence to our choice to go with her. She sent updates throughout the week with pictures, videos, and even clipped his nails for us. Another plus was that she somehow trained Elton to use buttons to ask for what he wants! What?!?! We will 100% ask her to watch him again when we go on our next vacation in a few months!”

“You can count on Elise to take amazing care of your dog. She was basically a second mama to my little dachshund, Snickers, who needed lots of love and attention in her old age. Elise fed and walked Snickers when I wasn't available. She was extremely reliable. What sets Elise apart is that whenever she was helping out, I knew Snickers was getting star treatment and not just the bare necessities. She will treat your dog with respect, administer medication if needed, give them as many treats as allowed by the owner, and tire them out with cuddles and walks.”
