1. Danielle L.
About: I’ve was a pet sitter on the west coast for 12 years until I relocated to New England. Most of my clients are dogs but I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with cats, exotic fish and turtles too. I have experience with highly energetic herder breads, stubborn breads, frisbee super dogs, elderly dogs, special needs pups and everything in between. I’m active and enjoy hiking, playing ball and frisbee with k9 companions. I used to be a kindergarten teacher and find my perceptive sensitive nature is advantageous to both children and animals. I am currently working full time on an online accreditation, which gives me the availability to spend my whooooole day with your fuzzy buddies. I am Only accepting Long Term (4 days plus) pup sitting requests for which my price is negotiable. :) I currently work from home (or wherever my laptop is) so I am available full-time for your furry friend. I’m a bit of a hermit and very focused on my studies at the moment so my only consistent outing is to the gym for an hour a day, leaving me present in the home for your furry friend all day. Both my partner and I work from home in a small lofted cottage with a fenced in yard (about the size of half a tennis court) on 5 quiet acres.
2. Ashley M.
“Wonderful care of my dog. She seemed very happy when I picked her up. It was only an overnight, but I was very pleased with how everyone in the house took to her.”
3. Susan & John V.
“Susan and John are wonderful and I’m so glad I found them on Rover. My dogs, Ginger and Ollie, love them. They have games for the dogs to play with and they have a fenced in backyard. They are also wonderful at sending pictures which helped me to know they were safe and having a good time. Susan and John have a warm loving home and I would highly recommend them.”
4. Mike & Laura O.
“Mike and Laura took exceptional care of our 17-year old Jack Russell. Mike was extremely communicative during the entire process and helped make our trip to Ludlow happen!”
5. Haley C.
“Haley was fantastic! She was ready for us when we arrived and for pick up. She sent us pictures and updates and we just loved that. Our little guy seemed happy and cared for when we picked him up. He really enjoys other dogs as he is an "only dog" at our house. We definitely be using Halyley again, 5 stars!”
6. Christine C.
“It appeared that Darley loved her stay with Christine. Christine sent us pictures and commentary every day while we were away. We really appreciated that. We were a little concerned that Darley and Christine's cat, Gonzo would not get along but I think all went very well. The yard around the house was good for letting Darley out and Christine took Darley to places where she could really get some exercise. We will want to return to Christine's in the future and definitely recommend her.”
7. Mary P.
“This was our first time using Rover and having Mary watch our dog Oreo for a few days! Mary sent us updates daily and asked important questions that helped Oreo feel more comfortable. Mary was also able to give Oreo pills that she needed for a hurt leg successfully. Mary and her dog Lee are welcoming and friendly,we would have her care again for Oreo in a heartbeat ?❤️”
8. Andy & Allison H.
“Andy & Allison were a pleasure to work with. It was obvious that Mario enjoyed his time with them. We will definitely use their services again.”
9. Hope R.
“Hope was terrific! Our dog doesn’t do well in traditional kennels, left alone at night. He was calm and happy with her, and Hope was flexible enough to let us pick him up and drop off later in the middle of his stay. He had no problem returning to her house after a nearby hike, which says it all.”
10. Nikki M.
“Nikki. Is the most flexible accommodating person I’ve ever worked with for my dogs. My dog loves her wags and whines when she sees her. I never realized this difference between other sitters until I saw her reaction to Nikki.”
11. Brianna M.
“Brianna did a great job taking care of our dog Elton! This was the first time we have taken a vacation without him since we got him. We felt confident leaving him with Brianna due to her experience as a vet tech. She had a few absolutely adorable dogs and obviously takes great care of them which added even more confidence to our choice to go with her. She sent updates throughout the week with pictures, videos, and even clipped his nails for us. Another plus was that she somehow trained Elton to use buttons to ask for what he wants! What?!?! We will 100% ask her to watch him again when we go on our next vacation in a few months!”
12. Deanna C.
“Deanna is SO wonderful! She is always so caring and responsible with our sweet pup. She has cared for him on his best and on his worst days and always loves him the same no matter what. I will always and forever want Deanna to watch our cute boy, I never worry when she's there.”
13. Abby C.
“I can’t recommend Abby more! She was so accommodating and welcoming to our dog. She always kept us in the loop and was sending pictures of all the fun he was having. I’m so happy we have found someone that we truly feel comfortable leaving our dog with. Again, she is so so so amazing and I can’t recommend her enough!”
14. Laura P.
“Laura was great, she took my pup on long walks every day and sent photos and check in points. Exactly what I would hope for when leaving my furbaby. I was very nervous leaving him but she helped ease that and truly showed care and love for him. Thank you!”
15. Rachael L.
“Rachael was wonderful and attentive to our dog Chet. She’s has another dog, and Chet and him are best friends. I am 100% comfortable with Chet in her home for overnight visits and daycare/sitting.”
16. Elise A.
“You can count on Elise to take amazing care of your dog. She was basically a second mama to my little dachshund, Snickers, who needed lots of love and attention in her old age. Elise fed and walked Snickers when I wasn't available. She was extremely reliable. What sets Elise apart is that whenever she was helping out, I knew Snickers was getting star treatment and not just the bare necessities. She will treat your dog with respect, administer medication if needed, give them as many treats as allowed by the owner, and tire them out with cuddles and walks.”
17. Amy B.
“Amy is an absolute natural with dogs. She understands canine language and responds to their needs with great care. Amy is a highly responsible and trustworthy caretaker, and I wouldn't leave my dogs with anyone else. She's a fantastic trainer, as well!”
18. Gabrielle R.
“Gabrielle was super from our 1st meet and great and Max's stay with her. She sent daily updates and photos on how things were going. Made me feel very comfortable and at ease while Max was there. Would definitely use again.”
19. Jarica G.
“Jarica is a gem. It can be challenging to find the right person I would trust with my fur babies, but she made it an easy decision. Her kind demeanor made it easy for both my cat and dog to feel at comfortable with her. 10 out of 10 highly recommend her to help you with your pets needs!”
20. Laura T.
“Laura is a very experienced animal care person. She has worked with animals from all over the world. I have seen pictures of her holding tigers. Some of the stories she has are incredible. She would be my first choice to care for my pets. Steve T”
