Pet care experience

Professional animal lover

I’ve was a pet sitter on the west coast for 12 years until I relocated to New England. Most of my clients are dogs but I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with cats, exotic fish and turtles too. I have experience with highly energetic herder breads, stubborn breads, frisbee super dogs, elderly dogs, special needs pups and everything in between. I’m active and enjoy hiking, playing ball and frisbee with k9 companions. I used to be a kindergarten teacher and find my perceptive sensitive nature is advantageous to both children and animals. I am currently working full time on an online accreditation, which gives me the availability to spend my whooooole day with your fuzzy buddies. I only board low/no shedding dogs. I prioritize longer-term pup sitting requests (4 days or more). *If anything in my profile doesn’t quite match your needs but you feel like we’d be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out, I’m always happy to chat! :)

Once again, Lou was in the very best hands with Danielle. Her care is truly a gift! I’m also reasonably convinced that Lou would really prefer regular sleep overs :) Much gratitude for an excellent experience all the way around.

There aren’t enough good things to say about Danielle! From start to finish she was a super professional, and it’s very clear that she is a true dog lover. My wife is really anxious about leaving our dog with anyone, even family, but from day one with Danielle she was so detail oriented, asked the right questions, and sent so many great updates, that even a nervous dog mom felt 100% confident. Honestly, I think Finley had a better time with Danielle than he usually has with us! Not only was our buddy in great hands, but the house was spotless when we returned. We hope to hire Danielle many times again in the future!

Danielle looked after our dog for a few days while we travelled. Without hesitation, I would recommend her and gladly use her services again. Danielle has a kind, positive nature. She was accommodating and our dog took to her immediately. She kept us updated, gave him lots of exercise and attention, and has a lovely location for a dog to have a holiday of their own. 5+ stars! Thanks Danielle.

Danielle was an amazing sitter - both of my dogs loved her from the start, and when I got back after five days away it was like they hadn’t minded my being gone at all. Would recommend Danielle’s services to anyone!

Danielle was special. She took great care of our pug Winston and as he’s just a pup, spent time training him. He really enjoyed his time with her and as a bonus Danielle left the house in better shape than we left it. Would call Danielle in a heart beat if the need arises.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I currently work from home (or wherever my laptop is) so I am available full-time for your furry friend. I’m a bit of a hermit and very focused on my studies at the moment so my only consistent outing is to the gym for an hour a day, leaving me present in the home for your furry friend all day.

Where your pet will stay

I like to know their usual routine (mealtimes, walk times, bedtime) so I can keep things consistent. Sticking to what they’re used to can make a big difference in helping them feel safe and calm while you’re away. It’s also helpful to know: • Any fear or aggression history • Prey drive (especially for walks or yard time) • Eating habits and treat limits • Allergies or past injuries • Training cues you’d like me to use • Favorite toys, games, and sleeping spots • Where they love (or don’t love) being pet And of course, anything else that makes them feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away!
