“I’m so happy I found Emily. I have used Rover in the past multiple times and this was the best experience I’ve had so far. I immediately felt good vibes from her when I met her. I was a little nervous since it was the first time I would be having someone come into my home and check in on my cat as I usually take him to a sitter’s home when I go away. However, after the second day, my cat started warming up to her and I felt a huge sense of relief. Emily sent updates and pictures everyday which I appreciated. She followed the little reminders and instructions I gave such as leaving the nightlight on at night and giving my cat a treat everyday. Emily even washed his lick mats before leaving. About: I have had dogs in my home for the past 10 years. I’ve had my own personal dog for the past 5. I work at an animal hospital, so I have tons of experience with cats and dogs of all sizes. I am confident in my ability to administer medications, if needed (oral, transdermal, injectable, inhalant). I raise puppies for a service dog organization, so I have experience with puppies who are still learning. My degree is in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and I am seeking higher education. My personal pup is with me almost 24/7. I am very blessed that she is able to come to work with me. I work 4 10 hour shifts, so I’m free 3 days a week on a consistent schedule. I occasionally have family events or Puppy Club events on those days, so scheduling ahead is always appreciated. I do accept same day reservations when I’m available. I always check fencing prior to allowing a pet outside in a yard. While walking, I carry an emergency kit. I always have a backup leash and collar/training collar in my car in case a pup got to them without the parents knowledge (yes, I’ve needed them before).
