About: I grew up taking care of our Newfoundland from a puppy. I was his primary caretaker for brushing him, walking him, and feeding him. When I moved out, I helped my parents take care of him until he passed a few years ago from arthritis in his hips. Since I moved out, I adopted two cats from the shelter. I recognize that our animals are part of our families. I follow directions and schedules well, and will strive to provide the best care for your furry family members. I work 7am-3:30pm Mondays through Fridays, so I’m primarily available in the evenings during weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends for pet care. I also have most/federal holidays off, so I will be able to work long weekends. I will use whatever supplies that you have and your pet prefers. I will not bring anything else without your permission. I will make sure to follow directions and schedules as closely as possible, and keep you informed of how your pet is doing.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of pets since I was a kid, but dogs and cats are what I am most used to. I have experience walking dogs, dog sitting in others homes(overnight too), and some experience caring for cats(cousins and friends). I have 3 golden retrievers at home in NY ranging from ages 1-8 and I care about them SO much, so I always want to ensure their safety. I feed them, walk them, and have endless playtime with them. About: I've had dogs for over 25 years and most recently I'm caring for a dog with a seizure disorder. Everything from young energetic puppies to elderly dogs. I can crate your dog if needed based on your preference and socialization with my dogs is entirely up to you. My home has separate areas to accommodate a variety of situations including multi pet homes that crate and rotate dogs, dogs with medical needs who need to be in separate areas, etc. For overnight stays I will tailor your dogs experience to ensure it is a home away from home.

About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world of caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience.
