ICU vet nurse, tons of experience!
I graduated from vet tech school and became licensed 12 years ago, have experience in general practice, and spent the last 11 years in emergency and critical care medicine. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals and looked after pets of family friends for over a decade. I currently have a dog and cat who get along well with other dogs. Because of my experience in veterinary medicine, I feel comfortable medicating dogs or cats if needed. I am cool, calm, and collected in a crisis and feel confident that I would be able to determine if or when a pet is in need of urgent medical care. I am able to communicate with owners as often as wanted and look forward to meeting all your furry babies!

Schedule
I work full time 3 days a week out of the house but have availability most weekends! I typically wake up mid morning, take care of tasks around the house, sometimes run errands if needed, but most of the time just relax at home on my days off.

Safety, trust & environment
Animals are welcome throughout the house and in our bed, but can be given their own room or space if needed. We have two water fountains, two bedrooms, lots of windows and dog beds; plenty of space for running around!
Pets
A typical day
I have a very energetic small dog who absolutely LOVES to chase a ball around and play with any dog that comes over. I also live in a neighborhood that’s flat and perfect for walking. I live within 10 minutes walking distance of Battery park and love to walk there when it’s nice out!
