About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am 34 years old. I am from Stuart, FL. I am working in Bar Harbor for the summer from April to October. I have always been an animal lover and if I could afford a farm and have every type of animal in it... I would. I have owned, dogs, fish, and birds. I have had dogs most of my life. I had a Jack Russell who lived to be 11 years old named Romeo...He was a ball of energy, he had eye problems and needed drops daily. I also had a Rat Terrier named Oliver, we bought him at a year old. He lived to be 14 years old. Most recently my sister currently has a mini golden doodle, who is 4 years old. I loved taking my dogs on the trails in the parks. If I didn’t travel so much, I would love a dog of my own. I work seasonal contract jobs outside the National parks, mainly in the summer season. I go walking everyday & I would love to bring your pup with me. I am renting a place with other people so I would have to go to their home. I am very attentive and can play with them in the yard or whatever is asked.

About: I have always had dogs in my life, and I currently have 3 of my own. I worked in veterinary emergency and critical care for 2 years and spent several months at a fear-free general practice before needing to take a step back from vetmed. I have 6 years of personal experience with dog training and behavior, and spent some time volunteering for a rescue on the administrative end. I am very knowledgeable on dog behavior/body language and I am comfortable working with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and breeds. Puppies, medical/behavioral needs pups, and seniors are my specialty! I am also RECOVER CPR certified. My schedule is wide open most days, and we are a very active family! We frequently go for hikes and spend time with our dogs in nature. My whole world revolves around animals and I love being able to experience the great outdoors with dogs. I use reward-based/force-free handling techniques with any dog I interact with. I try my hardest to set dogs up for success in my interactions with them - I am not afraid to spend as much time as needed to gain the trust of a fearful dog before attempting to interact directly. I am a strong believer in using body language, reward, and moving at the dog's pace to ensure dogs make good choices and have a positive experience every time they interact with me. I treat all pets I interact with as if they are my own!

About: I have worked with a variety of pets from cats and dogs to exotics like lizards and snakes. I am more than happy to help with all pet care needs, from puppy pads to pills, and maybe even a scaly friend or two. :) I work 8-5 Sat-Tues and 12-9 on Fri, but have Wednesday and Thursday off each week. If your furry friend needs a midday walk or some loving while you work I would be happy to stop in on my days off! Willing to adapt to your pets needs. Easy walk around the block? Absolutely! Roughhousing at the dog park? No problem! Every pet is different and needs attention that suits their care needs.

I use positive reinforcement training techniques with our three rescue dogs and I use worship all cats techniques with our cats 😆. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. About: I am a playful dog watcher and will always be engaged when your dog is in my care! I have experience training puppies as well as training dogs who are older and need some more guidance. Size of a dog doesn't matter, I have experience with dogs that are bigger than 110+ pounds and that are as tall as my waist. I have owned all different types of breeds and have knowledge about certain care some breeds might need. I have experience with labs, poodles, mastiffs, pugs, spaniels, terriers, greyhounds, pitbulls, and more. I thoroughly clean my space before your pets arrival and tidy up around so there will be no issues with accidental swallowing of random objects I am currently on summer vacation as a full time teacher! I am as free as a bird for the next month! I will begin full time teaching at the end of August and will only be available during after school hours starting at 4pm. About: I grew up on a farm which meant caring for all types of domestic and farm animals. I’ve cared for and trained horses since I was 9, I have owned reptiles and rodents and even cared for opossums lol! I’m currently on summer break from college and I’m available 7 days a week! I live in the Bangor area and I have reliable transportation. In client home only and my goal is to care for your pets the same as you do when your home… including call play, leash walking, etc…

About: I have been taking care of my own dog since I was 11! I would make sure to take him on walks, give him his baths, and make sure he’s well and fed. It has turned me into a huge animal lover and I make sure to build a personal connection with any pets I meet. I have rescued cats and dogs before! I believe they deserve all the love and care humans are expected to have 🐶🐱❤️ I have classes Monday-Thursday, but can easily fit in time to go see your pet before or after! I’m available all throughout Friday and the weekend. I would love to go let your furry friend out of the house. I make sure that the pet feels comfortable with me in their space. Every pet is different! I like to know the general “rules” of the home; Where can the pet not be in the house? Is the pet allowed to eat human food? Are there certain hours the pet shouldn’t be out? Etc. I would also like to keep allergies in mind! I wouldn’t want to bring food in that my client is allergic to and have it invade their space. There are many important factors when it comes to caring for someone’s home and their pet.

About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I have a dog 🐶 at home, 2! It’s second nature 2 me, but always a priority 2 ensure the pets I look after have 100% of my attention while 2gthr. I never forget 2 fill water bowls, provide reward treats, feed on time , get outside of course, excercise at least 30mins a day & have calm comfortable place 2 sleep. It’s easy 2 do since I need many of the same things they need!! I truly adore dogs. In 2021 I saved the life of a choking dog using choking protocol & cpr. His name is Savoy, an 11yo JRT living in Copley Sq. After I saved his life, he was rushed to the emergency ASPCA in Brookline where he spent 8 hours on a breathing machine to regain healthy oxygen levels.
