About: Animals have an incredible ability to ease the tension they sense in the ones they love, so in turn I would like to provide a sense of safety and love with each encounter with your pet. Your chosen family is often stronger than the one you are born into, and these animals that we have taken into our homes and hearts show it clearly and consistently. I have worked in an animal hospital for about 2 1/2 years and in my time I learned many tools to create a safe and welcoming environment. I can trim nails, clean ears, brush out matts comfortably and give sanitary haircuts. I was trained to give thorough baths to make pets squeaky clean! I can also administer medication and have taken care of pets who are getting up there in years. I have experience watching 20-30 dogs in a group setting and can walk up to 7 dogs comfortably at a time. I have basic dog training knowledge and I am familiar with animal behavior and how to deescalate potential dangerous situations and soothe an anxious animal. I will soon be going back to school and have a part-time job so my schedule is flexible. I am looking to add walking pet sitting and bathing back into my routine. Written instructions on specifics on how to care for your pets are helpful in making sure your standards of care are being met. Trust is a need not a want when it come to animals, some need easing into meeting a new person and some are all in on the initial meeting, whatever the case forcing a connection is the best way to destroy it. About: I’ve been sitting for animals for years and love it. Also dog walking as well. I’ve never met a pet I didn’t like or did not get along with. My family loves when I board dogs and they get to meet a new friend. My children love animals just as much as I do. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of availability. I’m also available for last minute walks or sittings. Your pet is in very good hands when I’m taking care of them. I love to take dogs on walks by the beach and know all the best dog parks. This was our second time booking Will, but our first time having him house sit for us. We couldn’t be more pleased with the care that Will provided for our 2 dogs! He also left our home very clean! We will continue to book Will for all our future pet sitting needs! :)
Brynn was wonderful with our basset hound, McLovin. She sent photos through out the evening that she stayed with him. Brynn was on time and asked great questions when arriving. We were able to enjoy a lovely dinner with friends knowing that Brynn was taking care of our pup. We look forward to inviting her back.
Keeley did an amazing job with my dog Honey! She is very friendly, respectful, and super sweet. Keely came over to house sit, took Honey out for potty breaks, and a walk. Honey has epilepsy so it’s nice to have someone there with him when I’m out for an extended period of time incase of an emergency. I will definitely be rebooking with Keeley!
Jennie and Bennie recently did an amazing job house sitting for my trio, and will always be my go-to for anything cat related. Long story short: I recently had a few major life changes, and suddenly found myself (with my cats) in a completely different space, including the exit of someone who had been in their lives for a really long time I wanted to make sure that my cats were doing okay, so one of the first things I did was to arrange for Jennie to do weekly playdates with my cats - I knew they needed the consistency of a familiar face to move through this movement, and Jennie gamely accepted. My cats are weird and quirky like most cats, and don’t handle stress well. It was obvious immediately that having Jennie visit regularly was helping them make this transition. Fast forward to the recent house sit - I was leaving town for the first time since the life change, and it would be the first time the cats would have Jennie stay over. Out of EVERYTHING I needed for the trip, Jennie was the one thing I didn’t worry about. She did everything to perfection; she sent me amazing updates, and made sure I felt like my cats were cared for from 3000 miles away. I think the fact that when I got home, the cats acted like nothing was wrong, is truly a testament to Jennie’s skill. It’s like I hadn’t even been gone, and as cat owners know, that’s a sign all things are good in cat world.
Megan did a house-sit for 10 days for us. She's very professional with check in's every day and updates on our kitty and the house. When we got back, we couldn't even tell that she was here. Our kitty was happy to see us and she did not display an anxious behavior which tells me that she was super content with Megan. I am really happy that Megan was available for this sit because she put me at ease with being away for so long and so far away. I could just relax knowing everything at the house and our fur child was being taken care of. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who's looking for a dependable and trustworthy person to care for their pet (and house).
We are so lucky to have found Anna! Not only do our pets love her immensely, but she’s reliable, transparent, flexible, and so patient! Our pets can be handful, and Anna always handles them with grace and understanding. Our flight got massively delayed on our way back, and I could figure out logistics with peace of mind because Anna drove back to our house at 10pm when I texted her frantically. It’s clear she loves our animals, and we are always so happy to work with her! I’d recommend her to anybody!
