1. Lisbet A.
“As a first-time user I was hesitant but Lisbet put us at ease. She showed up on time, gave us pupdates, house was left in order, and pup seemed happy.”
2. Audrey w.
“My husband and I were very happy with our first experience using Rover, with Audrey. We have recently adopted a rescue mixed breed dog and could not leave him in a kennel setting for several reasons. Audrey went the extra mile to become acquainted with our boy, Crockett, and us before she house sat and dog sat. She made him feel very comfortable and cared for. Over our trip we had the peace of mind that he was being taken good care of with Audrey. In fact, we have re-booked her for another time soon.”
3. Dylan S.
“Dylan took absolutely wonderful care of our cat, Theo, while we were away for over two weeks. It’s the longest time we have ever been away from Theo and I was very anxious but Dylan helped me relax and enjoy myself due to his regular updates that included photos and videos. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He’s extremely responsible and very nice and Theo made friends with him immediately.”
4. Michelle Z.
“Absolutely fantastic. She House/Cat sat for us and was very communicative, sent lots of photos, gave us many updates, and left the house immaculate. We can tell if a cat sitter hasn’t done their job because our cat gets stress dreadlocks. Our cat was incredibly happy and his coat was perfect when we got home. She also took him on his leash walks which made him extra happy. Highly recommended.”
5. Don D.
“Don was very attentive with our senior dog! She has quite a few needs these days and Don was detail-oriented and followed all our instructions carefully. It made it much easier for us to enjoy our trip knowing that our dog was in good hands. He sent lots of updates and photos. We even think our pup was missing her new friend after we returned. :)”
6. Cheri I.
“Matt and Cheri have been great. I highly recommend Matt as a dog sitter, especially for pets with specific medical needs. Matt recently cared for my diabetic dog, Piper, which required a complex routine of feeding on a precise schedule, administering insulin, and managing daily walks. He handled everything exceptionally well, ensuring that Piper’s glucose levels stayed within the target range—our biggest concern. Matt’s reliability and attention to detail gave us peace of mind while we were away. Piper was in great hands!”
7. Opal C.
“Opal was perfect for our dog who is nervous of strangers she took her time with him and was able to get him to work with her to go for walks and hang out together for the day ? We would definitely use her again if and when we come back to her neighborhood”
8. Kevin T.
“Kevin was an awesome house sitter for our large dogs. He was very communicative, thoughtful and had a great attitude. Our pups are fairly active... and spoiled but Kevin took care of them as well as we would have. He gave them a lot of walks and attention. One of ours takes a lot of suppliments and medicine which wasn't a problem either. Kevin took good care of our place and was very clean too. He sent lots of pictures and provided a lot of updates. We would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for pet services.”
9. Salem M.
About: I have been a pet parent of birds, turtles, fish, two cats, and currently my cat Cocoa and dog Bucky! My fur babies are both rescued from the street and/ or abusive homes, so I have experience with how to care for anxious animals. I learned to care for very small kittens as well as adult cats. I have experience with caring for small and large dogs, and I am always learning how to better care for each animal I meet! I can provide basic care for aquatic animals. I am also fluent in English and Spanish. Tengo experiencia cuidando pajaros, perros grandes o chicos, y cuidado basico de animales aquaticos. Apriendo como cuidar por gatos adultos y de chiquitos. Siempre estoy aprendiendo la manera mejor para cuidar cada animal! I work part time, with the intent of pet care becoming my full time job! I am able to travel within Orange County to client's homes for house sitting as well as walks or simple drop in visits. For house sitting, I will make sure to ask for any important medical/personal pet information I need to know beforehand (food, medicine, personality traits). For walks, as well as food or medicines, I will always set timers/reminders for a well structured daily routine for our animal friends! For walks or drop in visits I will be sure to bring or ask about treats, and bring toys and extra supplies.

12. Kaitlyn R.
“First, Caitlin was so incredibly helpful because she was available at the last minute when I had an emergency cancellation. I had never met her before and she couldn’t have been more enthusiastic and helpful. Sent me many videos, and photos of Penny and Penny looked extremely happy and playful in each one of them. She went out of her way to clean the house before she left. It’s so obvious to see how much she loves and enjoys dogs. Thank you,Kaitlyn.”
13. Lilah S.
“Lilah was absolutely awesome. I was skeptical at first since it was my first time using rover.com but I found the best pet sitter on the site. My dogs were instantly comfortable with Lilah. She is sweet and knows how to take care of them. She sent pictures and updates throughout my trip and even texted to ask permission to go out or to have a friend over. It was a long trip and I didn't get home until 2am. I was pleasantly surprised to come home to freshly washed bedsheets and a clean house. I would recommend Lilah to everyone. If you want an excellent, reliable and trustworthy sitter, Lilah is the one you want...”

16. Elizabeth M.
“Elizabeth was amazing with Bella, she helped blow her energy and keep her company on a night we were out. Bella had an upset stomach and needed to be taken out in the middle of the night. Elizabeth was very accommodating and took away all worries we had as we were out for the evening. Great sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her for future visits!”
17. Yoshiko O.
“Yoshiko was one of THE BEST sitter we've ever had. She kept the place extremely clean, probably even cleaner than when we left it. Our dog looked healthy and happy in Yoshiko's care. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process, and very respectful of our space. We've had many Rover sitters in the past, and we'd always be nervous leaving our dog in someone else's care, but Yoshiko made us feel extremely at ease while being away. We would definitely have Yoshiko care for our dog again any time we're away.”
