I have a fairly flexible schedule, allowing me to be available both weekdays and weekends for drop-ins and house sitting. Dogs must be able to be left alone for 4 hours at a time, with an exception for one-night bookings.

I’m the sitter that my client trusts more than anyone else to watch their pets, and there’s a reason for that. I try my hardest to be that person for clients, as I know that I would want a sitter just like myself for my animals. I follow your routine as closely as possible to ensure that your expectations and your pet's needs are met.
Information Cierra V. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. But before I accept a job, I need to be informed about special needs, amount of walks per day/length between walks, how long they can be alone for at a given time, and any other relevant information pertaining to your pup. I am willing to work with any special situation you or your pup may be in. I live in Northwest Bellevue and house sit/visit your pet anywhere within 8 miles (actual distance, not "as the crow flys") from the general vicinity. I do not cross Lake Washington for any services, I am strictly Eastside.
A typical day
I follow your pet's routine as closely as possible including the times they are walked, fed, given medication, etc. I want all pets in my care to be comfortable and not have their routine jolted when they already have a stranger staying with them. The pet’s comfort and wellbeing is mg number one priority. During bookings in your home, your pets and I will have fun with their toys, snuggling on the couch and spending time outdoors. I try to stick to their usual neighborhood walks or if their walk route varies, I follow where they want to go! If there's a park nearby, we can take a stroll around there. When watching cats, I gauge how they are feeling with me as I know that can widely vary between cats. For playful cats, I love getting their energy out with their toys and giving them plenty of attention. For cats who prefer to be left alone, I respect that but make sure to allow them to be able to come up and approach me when they are comfortable. I will not force myself on cats who do not want to be approached or played with.

Policy # JN1221 Hello there! I'm Cierra, pet lover, rescuer, and activist who has recently relocated to back to Orange County! I'm originally from Orange County, where I first started on Rover in 2013. Not only have I been working with pets professionally for many years, but I have also had dogs, cats, and rodents my entire life. I worked in a kennel for rescue dogs for almost 2 years while volunteering with multiple rescues. I currently volunteer as a member of the board of directors for Mutts in Need. Even my career is pet-based as I do marketing in the pet industry with an emphasis on pet wellness. My experienec allows me to work with pets of various needs whether it be medical, reactivity, senior pet care, dog aggressive dogs, leash aggressiveness and more. Please note I DO NOT accept dogs who are aggressive to humans. I’ve had pets my entire life, from day 1. I was essentially born to a pet lover and caretaker. Once I turned 18, I started pet sitting and working with rescue dogs in a kennel, which provided me with so much knowledge on caring for reactive or fearful dogs, what to do in an emergency situation, break up fights, and more. Now, 12 years later, I've used all those skills to successfully care for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, rabbits, chinchillas, and more.

Cierra was fantastic :) We have three small pets that needed regular check-ins over the course of two weeks and Cierra not only had prior experience with small animals but was very attentive to their individual needs as well. She took lots of pictures while we were away, checked-in when there was a minor issue with one of the pets, and kept the pet area spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!
