About: I have been taking care of dogs under a company named Happy Tails back in my hometown of Colorado for the last five years, and have owned doggies my entire life :). I’m currently only working part time as a caregiver for the elderly, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets! I love and enjoy time spent with pets so it doesn’t even feel like work to me :), especially as outside of work I love to spend my time outside as much as possible, such as volunteering at our local farm, going to the beach, and going on hikes. I have a smaller house that’s cozy and home to cat of our own, alongside a fenced in small backyard. We keep the house quite clean too!

We were traveling with our two dogs and needed someone to watch them in our hotel room, which can be a little stressful because it’s an unfamiliar place for them. Bert is our 1-year-old anxious sweetheart, and Bud is our 10-year-old sweet “grumpy” old man, so we really just wanted someone who would keep them calm, safe, and comfortable. Gloria did exactly that. She was on time, kind, easy to communicate with, and sent us sweet updates and pictures throughout the night. It made such a difference being able to go out and actually feel confident that our boys were okay. She took them out, gave them treats, hung out with them, and clearly paid attention to who they are instead of just “watching dogs.” She also left us the sweetest handwritten card and a Polaroid of Bud and Bert, which honestly meant so much. It was such a thoughtful little thing and showed how much she cares. We came back to two safe, happy boys, and that’s really all you can ask for. We’re so grateful we found Gloria and would book her again in a heartbeat. Highly, highly recommend her.”

While I haven't owned a dog or cat myself, I've had a guinea pig and have experience caring for my friends' pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, and giving them lots of attention. In the past I have watched my sisters cats multiple times while she’s been away and friends have asked me to watch or walk their dogs when they are unavailable. I am currently a full time student in university, but I have free time on certain weekdays which includes Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2:30 or before 11am where I will have plenty of time to do drop in visits. I am completely available on the weekends from Friday to Sunday. When I’m in a clients home I am respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything just the way I found it. I keep pets on their usual schedule, I always spend time giving extra attention and comfort so they don’t feel lonely while their owners are away. I send regular updates and photos so owners know they are in good hands.

About: I understand that apparently this app has bad pet sitters but I can assure you I am NOT one of them. I love animals before I love humans (no offense lol) I’m choosing to do this because this is the closest I can get to almost making this an everyday job and love all different animals everyday. I have taken care of animals for over 15 years along with my own animals as well. I have experience with alot of different animals from newborns to elderly, special needs and diets as well. About: I have been caring for my own pets and the pets of family and friends for over a decade. Currently I have a dog (25lbs) and 2 cats (raised fron kittens) of my own at home. I would love a chance to come by to help your pets socialize, go on walks, or make sure meals happen on time. I’ve walked, cleaned up after, bathed, and played with dogs from chihuahuas to huskies. I helped a housemate care for an elder chihuahua (14+ years old), and I have the patience to reinforce important behaviors in puppies. I am between projects and have ample time available for getting some social time in with your pets! I am available Monday-Friday after noon and weekends any time for drop ins. I have a small yard and I am accustomed to clearing messes immediately. Pets are always on leash when outside unless fenced in. I can segregate animals in multi-pet households for meals.
