About: In the past, I was trained as a Customer Advisor at Petco and worked at a doggy daycare afterwards, making me well experienced in warning signs for any allergies or illnesses and much more detail oriented than your average sitter. If ever needed, I can also provide knowledge on what are the best products to recommend for your pet to fit their specific needs. I have had animals my whole life and I know what it feels like to be away from home and miss my pets dearly. When your dog or cat stays with me, I will keep you updated as much as possible. Sending pictures and/or videos to make you feel like your little ones are still with you and that you haven't missed a beat!

About: I've had large breed dogs my entire life and volunteer regularly at shelters to help.socialize the animals to be more adoptable. My last rottie had leukemia and I cared for her throughout chemotherapy so have experience with many related health challenges. I recently exited my corporate career after 15 years of travel and computer work. I'm taking a break to recalibrate and spend more time outdoors being active. I have a fenced back yard and several crates that can be used if needed. My dog is very friendly and loves new friends to play with anyone- human or animal- that is open to play.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND MELISSA!!!! We had such a good experience with Melissa! I was nervous about sending my baby to a new dog sitter but I was in constant communication with Melissa and she made me feel so comfortable! Cathy’s care for our dog Otis was more than we can ask for. Her property has plenty of room for our 60lb dog to run around and play with Cathy’s own dogs. Cathy is great with communicating updates at the end of each stay. Kind hearted and very trustworthy for our Otis.
