I can’t say enough great things about Chelsea! This is my first experience using a dog walker and she made it incredibly seamless and easy. My dog is very tentative and nervous around new people but she welcomed Chelsea immediately. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!

Tracie was absolutely great with our boy gumbo. She went above and beyond and always made sure he was well taken care of. Tracie took the time to meet with us before hand to make sure she was up to speed and familiar with all of gumbo’s needs and she communicated everything to us. We will definitely be booking her again.

Paul and his fiancée do a great job with my Husky. My dog normally doesn’t enjoy other humans, and he loses his appetite when I travel. But Paul’s energy didn’t bring any of those concerns out.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life from small pets to large dogs and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I grew up helping friends and neighbors with their pets, which gave me a solid foundation in handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. Now, I have a 1.5 year old Lab named Knox who’s full of energy and love. He keeps me active, patience’s, and always on my toes! I also have a 9 year old cat named Levi, who brings a calm, loving balance to our home. Because of them, I understand how important it is to trust someone who will treat your pet like family Whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, or just a calm presence while you’re away, I’m here to help. I’m reliable, communicative, and will always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for as if they were mine. Let me know what your pet needs. I’m happy to accommodate special routines or preferences! I’m a full-time nursing student with plenty of free time during the day, so I’m great for helping out while you’re at work. I know how important it is for pets to get attention and exercise in the middle of those long days. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, or just some company to keep your animals happy and relaxed on your busy days. I have empathy for those who having to leave their animals so safety is a top priority for me when pet sitting. I will always use a leash when on walks and at home if there is no fenced in yard available. Also would like to know if the pet has any special instructions and their likes/ dislikes.

About: I’ve spent years caring for and training dogs, including raising and training four Australian Cattle Dogs—a breed known for its intelligence and high energy. Through that experience, I’ve learned how to read canine body language, reinforce good behaviors, and confidently handle dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also walked dogs for several of my mom’s clients throughout the Hockessin and Wilmington area. My focus is on providing safe, reliable, and personalized care while treating every dog as if they were my own. I am home full-time, which allows me to provide attentive, personalized care throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of potty breaks, exercise, playtime, enrichment, and affection. Being home full-time also allows me to closely monitor each dog’s well-being, maintain their routine, and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Your dog will be cared for like one of my own in a safe, loving home environment. I have a fully fenced 0.6-acre yard where dogs can safely run, play, and explore under supervision. They’ll also have the companionship of my three friendly, well-socialized dogs if they enjoy being around other dogs. Throughout the day, your pet will receive plenty of exercise, potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, and affection. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable, happy, and at home while you’re away.

About: As both a dog lover and recently funemployed, I’ll be able to commit 100% of my time to taking care of your furry friend. I’m a previous dog owner of 11+ years as well as an experienced sitter for both puppies and several senior dogs. I do what it takes to make your pup as happy and comfy as possible while you’re away — I’ll treat them like family! Up until recently I’d been working in corporate, and I’m choosing to take a small break in between careers. My previous employers and pet care clients can attest to my attention to detail, my excellent communication skills, and my willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by both dogs and cats, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. In my younger years, I regularly house-sat and walked dogs for coworkers and friends, helping them feel at ease while they were away. Life got busy with marriage and raising a family, but now that my kids are more independent, I have the time and flexibility to do something I truly enjoy again—spending time with animals and providing loving care when their owners can’t be there. My family and I have four friendly, sweet dogs and some chickens of our own, so I truly understand how much pets mean to a family. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets. I’ll treat your pets like family—giving them attention, love, and care while keeping you updated for peace of mind. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply making sure they’re happy and safe while you’re away, I’m here to help. I work part-time as a nurse, and caring for others—whether people or animals—is truly what I love to do. My nursing schedule gives me several days off during the week and some weekends open for pet care. My availability can vary, but I’ll always keep my calendar updated so you can easily see when I’m free. Just reach out—I’d love to help whenever I can and treat your pets with the same care and kindness I give my patients and my own family. I have a fully fenced-in yard where your dog can safely play and socialize with my four fur babies, making sure they get plenty of fun and exercise. If needed, I can also crate your dog if you supply the crate in a comfortable and secure space. I’m attentive and responsible, prioritizing your pet’s safety and comfort at all times. While I am most available for dog walking, letting dogs out, and spending quality time with them, I’m happy to tailor care to your pet’s needs. You can trust me to provide a loving and safe environment, following your instructions closely and keeping you updated.

Jenni had contacted me to let me know that she was on her way for our dogs’ walk. She took pics of them to show us that she was at our home with the dogs. I had told her about the route the dogs were use to taking and she showed us the map of the route. The dogs were good for her out on the walk. When they got home they were well tired enough and curled up for a nap. I look forward to having Jenni come walk them again!

About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Currently I own 2 guniea pigs but they’re quiet and kept on an elevated surface no dog has been bothered by them before. Lots of toys and 2 beds here to play with but encourage to bring your pet’s favorites here as well.

I love meeting new people and pets, so I’m excited to help take care of your FURever friends:) I do work part-time and go to school online but always have time for furry friends. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
