About: I have been raised with animals my entire life and I want to share that passion with others. I volunteer at a local shelter and have experience with different dog breeds and personalities. It is important to not only care for animals, but to love them and provide them enrichment. I enjoy cuddles, walks, play time and sharing company with all animals. I am currently a college student so I have a fluctuating but flexible schedule. Flexibility allows me to do what is necessary to care for pets and loved ones. I live with animals currently so pet care is already an everyday part of my regular routine. I believe in safety first. Leashes and harnesses must be available for animal and walker safety. I can adjust my care routines to any needs that are communicated to me and would love to play and spend quality time during my wellness visits.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.

About: While we are new to Rover, we are certainly no strangers to the world of caring for pets. We are a husband & wife team with a combined total of over 50 years of animal care experience. From bottle feeding babies, to senior pet care, to exotic animal husbandry, we have seen it all. Being pet parents ourselves, we have had several dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, & fish. Our American bulldog, Jack, our King Charles Cavalier, Castle, our Chow Chow mix, CBJ, and our Labrador/Husky mix, Crichton, have all left muddy paw prints on our hearts long after they've all gone. We currently have 6 cats, 3 of which are siblings we adopted a year ago and are loving all the chaos that they bring to our days. We can't forget our 2 ferrets, Mongo and Princess Donut- 2 of the sweetest little trouble makers we've ever had. From providing dog walks, play times, medicating, cleaning, cuddles, & kisses, we want to continue your dedication to helping your family pets live happier, healthier lives. Brian has worked as a manager in the pet retail industry for over 30 years, in a variety of settings. He has had cats and dogs his entire life, as well as keeping fresh and saltwater aquariums and building large vivariums for tree frogs. He has experience volunteering in wildlife rehab as well as handling reptiles and raptors at Zoo America in Hershey. He worked as a licensed pet sitter for many years in his twenties. Tanya has worked at several zoos and small animal veterinarian clinics. She started out as a veterinary technician, which she loved doing for 11 years. She then transitioned to being a veterinary receptionist in 2017, moving her focus from purely pet care to client care as well. Attending a variety of pet care continuing education every year and owning several pets needing daily, weekly, and monthly medications, Tanya has a wide skill range allowing her to help you keep your pet feeling their best. We both work full time, but with differing hours, allowing for availability morning, noon, & night. Brian is an early riser, so early morning walks or medication administration would be easy to accommodate. We are more than happy to follow whatever instructions you might have when visiting & caring for your pets in your home. We are open to having some exotics, or very low key dogs, in our own home for boarding. We do have six cats that run our house, so whoever is staying with us would need to get along with them.

About: Extremely flexible! I'm experienced in taking care of cats, dogs, turtles, bearded dragons, and fish. I would love to give your furbaby the best care possible! I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware. My schedule is pretty flexible this summer, I am extremely communicative & love to care for pets. I live with 2 dogs & 2 cats. The cats & dogs are separated. I am very patient with animals! I am also extremely diligent with their care such as cleaning food/water bowls, scooping poop, changing pee pads, following feeding/medication schedule, and playing with animals.

About: I grew up with two dogs, Lucy and Tula, and I love them so very much! I had to help walk, feed, and play with them all of the time. They have very different personalities, so I am used to the high energy, crazy pups, as well as the more timid ones that may need to warm up to me for a little bit! Our family now has adopted a new little mixed puppy named Jack who is absolutely filled with energy and excitement all of the time. I am currently a college student, so I have classes mostly in the mornings, but my schedule is fairly flexible and I can walk your pups when I'm not in class! I can walk your dogs around your neighborhood or somewhere else in town, whatever works best. I'm looking forward to spending time with your furry friends, whether it is just playing with them or walking them!

About: I worked at a dog/cat kennel for over 3 years. I was fortunate enough to work with all breeds, sizes, ages, and behavioral levels. I want to give your pet the best and most comfortable experience while you're away! I am a college student at UD studying ecology. My schedule is generally pretty open with the exception of morning classes (~9 am - 11 am). My availability varies, but I can be flexible! Feel free to message me to inquire! I understand that all pets have different needs and preferences. I am comfortable playing with your dog in their home, taking them on walks, or little field trips and hikes (for the more energetic pups) around Delaware if you'd like! I have a soft spot for senior cats and dogs, so I am also more than happy to take things slower and give them the extra TLC they might need.

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs, including my previous dog, an 80-pound Golden Retriever. She could be reactive toward other dogs while on leash, so I became very comfortable handling strong dogs, staying calm in challenging situations, and maintaining control even when she was pulling. In addition to caring for my previous dog, I have regularly looked after neighbors’ and friends’ dogs by walking, feeding, and ensuring they were well cared for while their owners were away. In my personal life I love going on long runs up to 6 miles so if you have a higher energy dog that would like to join me I would love to take them with me! I am currently a university student, and I have off of school until the spring semester begins in February. I am free most weekends, and weekdays Monday-Friday. I am comfortable your dog or dogs in any environment. I have taken care of dogs that used special harness’ or prong collars so I know how to work those if needed. I love to run and hike so I can also bring your dog along if they are extra energetic!

About: ever since I was younger, I’ve been infatuated with all kinds of animals. I even wanted to be a vet. I was the six-year-old that neighbors trusted to watch over their dogs while they stepped out for a second and I even taught them some tricks. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks well that’s a lie. I’ve done it myself. It just takes a little extra persistence. In my home life we have a dog and a bunny, and I’ve trained the dog to get along very well with the bunny. My dog also knows a handful of tricks where she can’t take a bow, shake hands and even spin in a circle. I am a freshly graduated high school student just looking to pay some of her debt from vet bills so I figured it might as well be something I enjoy while doing it. I do have a part-time job, but I am willing to free my calendar for you, and your pets needs! if you prefer me to be with you pets all day i need at least a two week notice so i can free up my time! I love all animals so I just plan to keep an eye on them, keep their brains teased and maybe even try to teach them a few tricks and do a few enrichment games like hide and seek where they have to use their nose or lick mats or even fetch it all just depends on the pet!

About: Hi! I personally have two Labrador Retrievers that are very energetic and lovable. My husband and I raised them both from puppies. I absolutely love dogs and caring for them. My family and friends also rely me to babysit and check in with their fur babies as well. Nothing would make me happier than to come and check in on your pup and spend a little bit of time with them! This also comes with plenty of updates and pictures. I look forward to caring for your pup! I am currently in between jobs and looking for something rewarding to do during the week. I’m available all day Monday through Friday. As an owner of two labrador retrievers, I know sometimes check-ins and walks are needed during the busy day-to-day life. I am happy to accommodate whatever you need. If it’s some playtime in a fenced in yard, taking fur babies for a walk, making sure they are crated appropriately, cleaning up accidents, whatever their specific needs are with feeding, I am comfortable accommodating.

About: I’ve spent my entire life living with cats and caring for them. I also spent last year living with a service dog in training and caring for him I currently have an internship at UD throughout the summer. I am available both before work and after work to care for pets. I can provide walking, feeding, playing, and just company for animals. About: I’m experienced in caring for large and giant-breed puppies and adult dogs, fear-reactive dogs, and senior dogs who benefit from calm, low-stress environments. I personally own Cane Corso's, so I’m comfortable handling the size, strength, and energy that come with powerful breeds. I also have a small Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix with fear-based aggression, and for the past 16 years, I’ve learned how to recognize his triggers, respect his boundaries, and manage his behavior with patience and consistency. That experience has taught me that every dog deserves to be understood as an individual and cared for in a way that helps them feel safe and secure. Experienced with resource guarding behaviors and knowledgeable in the proper use of martingale collars, prong collars, and e-collars. I’m comfortable following each owner’s established handling and management routine while providing calm, attentive care. For me, caring for dogs is about more than meeting their basic needs. It’s about earning their trust and making them feel safe, happy, and loved. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages, from playful puppies full of energy to senior companions who need patience, gentleness, and attentive care. Every dog is different, and I approach each one with the care and understanding they deserve. Caring for animals is already a regular part of my everyday life, so adding pet care to my schedule comes naturally. I’m accustomed to planning my day around mealtimes, exercise, potty breaks, medications, and quality time. I’m comfortable adjusting my routine for puppies needing extra attention, active dogs needing exercise, seniors requiring a slower pace, or pets who simply do best with calm, predictable care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and creating a calm, low-stress environment. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any established training or handling routines.

About: I work in a veterinary hospital as a kennel technician, where I care for animals daily by feeding, cleaning, exercising, monitoring behavior, and ensuring their comfort and safety under professional supervision. I’m currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 12. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, bring your own if you have a big dog if not the case I have small ones.
