I sent Yvonne a request based on her location and availability for the days I required. This turned into a blessing. She replied almost immediately. She offered to host Freda as long as as our initial meeting between Freda and her own dog (Quincy) went well. When I first arrived Yvonne and her husband were so welcoming. We discussed our pets and introduced ourselves - it felt more than just business of boarding my dog. This experience was different. This experience was exceptional. They showed me around the area of their home where Freda would eat and sleep. They also showed me around their beautiful fenced in yard where she could run comfortably. They also stated they only host one pet at a time and never leave the dog unattended. This put a lot of my thoughts at ease. Throughout my trip Yvonne sent me pictures and provided me updates and once again worked well with my return schedule to pick up Freda. I will definitely be using Yvonne again if she’s available as she was a wonderful host to Freda and I. Thank you.”

About: I had cats growing up, but I’d say my real journey as a cat person began 4 years ago when I adopted my tuxedo cat, Tyson. He was 3 years old when we adopted him, but he adjusted quickly! I like to make sure everything is up to his standards like the litter box, his food bowls, and his mug he likes to drink out of instead of the water bowl I got him. 2 years ago, we adopted our “gray guy”, Miso, as a kitten. He’s a bundle of energy and is always playing. Quite a difference from his older brother! To this day Miso’s still a bundle of energy and we try to play with him every day. I also try to find new ways to stimulate them. I’m currently trying a new puzzle feeder! Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I been taking care of dogs for many years. Love taking them on walks/runs. Love seen them run around in the backyard with my own dog. I work 8 hour days but I take them out for walks before I leave and when I come home we ether go outback and play or walk/run. The care a provided is a loving environment. And playful one. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. About: I have walked dogs for family and friends over the past 5 years. They have taught me how to handle their dogs when crossing the street, as well as making sure their dogs need to use the bathroom while on the walk (as well as bagging and disposing of waste after they went). I also made sure that the dogs did not overheat and got plenty of water before and after their walks. I know how to use a harness, a retractable leash, and a regular leash for dog walking. I have also cared for my family and friends' dogs over the past years. I have learned when they need to go out, what times they need walks, when their meal times are, and what kind of play they like to engage in. I have also given their dogs nutritional supplements (in the form of pills, treats, etc), and I have given their dogs specific nutritional food that they need. I also learned what kind of playtime they love to engage in, and I made sure that they have gotten the physical activity they needed. I very much enjoy taking care of dogs, as well as having a great playtime session with them! I am currently working part-time, so I have time to pet-sit and walk dogs, as well as pet-sit for cats. Because I am a part-time graduate student, I have classes on Monday nights. My hours are open for the rest of the week. I am able to commute to pet-sit and will follow the rules of a client's home to ensure that the environment is safe, hygienic, and happy for their pet(s). I'll make sure that the pets are always supervised, that they are well-fed, properly hydrated, walked, and have a great, engaging playtime session! I work 7am-3:30pm Mondays through Fridays, so I’m primarily available in the evenings during weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends for pet care. I also have most/federal holidays off, so I will be able to work long weekends. I will use whatever supplies that you have and your pet prefers. I will not bring anything else without your permission. I will make sure to follow directions and schedules as closely as possible, and keep you informed of how your pet is doing.
About: Extremely flexible! I'm experienced in taking care of cats, dogs, turtles, bearded dragons, and fish. I would love to give your furbaby the best care possible! I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware. My schedule is pretty flexible this summer, I am extremely communicative & love to care for pets. I live with 2 dogs & 2 cats. The cats & dogs are separated. I am very patient with animals! I am also extremely diligent with their care such as cleaning food/water bowls, scooping poop, changing pee pads, following feeding/medication schedule, and playing with animals.
About: I have pets of my own. I have owned cats, dogs and and small animals too. Currently I have one dog and his name is Max. There were plenty of times in my neighborhood that dogs will get out and I would take care of them until they are safe with their owner. I also have a years experience in dog walking I am a full time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am home most of the time but as for my schedule I have classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11-2. Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-12:30. Currently I do not live with my dog so I can provide more one on one attention to the animal I am taking care of. My apartment is very spacious for the animal to play with toys, do tricks etc. Also I love to be out doors and go to Mack park. I have transportation so that shouldn’t be an issue.

“Yvonne and her husband granted me an amazing experience of boarding my dog (Freda). It all began with a last minute trip, which required me to board Freda within 48 hours. I sent Yvonne a request based on her location and availability for the days I required. This turned into a blessing. She replied almost immediately. She offered to host Freda as long as as our initial meeting between Freda and her own dog (Quincy) went well. When I first arrived Yvonne and her husband were so welcoming. We discussed our pets and introduced ourselves - it felt more than just business of boarding my dog. This experience was different. This experience was exceptional. They showed me around the area of their home where Freda would eat and sleep. They also showed me around their beautiful fenced in yard where she could run comfortably. They also stated they only host one pet at a time and never leave the dog unattended. This put a lot of my thoughts at ease. Throughout my trip Yvonne sent me pictures and provided me updates and once again worked well with my return schedule to pick up Freda. I will definitely be using Yvonne again if she’s available as she was a wonderful host to Freda and I. Thank you.”

“Cynthia was great with my 1 1/2 year old Sheltie. She allowed us to meet her and her pup a couple of weeks before our vacation, to make sure we all were comfortable with each other. Drop off day was hard for us since our Sheltie is only 1.5 year’s old and a rescue, we didn’t want to stress her out too much. Cynthia has lots of experience with rescues and was quick to pick up on her needs. During the vacation she sent us many videos and pictures, which helped a great deal. On pick up day she sent us home with homemade treats, bully stick, and a freshly laundered dog bed. I will definitely use Rover and Cynthia again!!!!”
“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. About: My home is always filled with love and laughter over our dogs. Jack is 10 yr Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and Peppa is 8 yr Chihuahua. Good nutrition, comfort, care, love and exercise are the keys to our content and playful pets. I am currently retired, and I have time on my hands. Dogs are very important to me, I feel they know more than we think they know. To give a dog comfort, company in your time of need would be my pleasure. I will take your instruction on how you’d like me to structure walks, exercise, feeding and meds. The playing and affection part is included. I will help you keep you pet on their routine.
