About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. About: I have walked dogs for family and friends over the past 5 years. They have taught me how to handle their dogs when crossing the street, as well as making sure their dogs need to use the bathroom while on the walk (as well as bagging and disposing of waste after they went). I also made sure that the dogs did not overheat and got plenty of water before and after their walks. I know how to use a harness, a retractable leash, and a regular leash for dog walking. I have also cared for my family and friends' dogs over the past years. I have learned when they need to go out, what times they need walks, when their meal times are, and what kind of play they like to engage in. I have also given their dogs nutritional supplements (in the form of pills, treats, etc), and I have given their dogs specific nutritional food that they need. I also learned what kind of playtime they love to engage in, and I made sure that they have gotten the physical activity they needed. I very much enjoy taking care of dogs, as well as having a great playtime session with them! I am currently working part-time, so I have time to pet-sit and walk dogs, as well as pet-sit for cats. Because I am a part-time graduate student, I have classes on Monday nights. My hours are open for the rest of the week. I am able to commute to pet-sit and will follow the rules of a client's home to ensure that the environment is safe, hygienic, and happy for their pet(s). About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with Border Collies and have also adopted several dogs over the years, so I'm comfortable with everything from high-energy working breeds to laid-back companions. I've also volunteered at several shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. I work from home (as does my wife) so your pet will be getting consistent, attentive care. To be honest, our dog passed away last fall and we are missing the joy of being dog owners and having dogs around, but we need something a little more flexible for the time being. You are getting two sitters for the price of one and we will care for your dog as if they were our own :) As a former dog parent who has used Rover, my goal is to provide exactly what I was looking for each time I booked a walker/sitter: clear communication, limited hassle, and all of the assurances that you can rest easy and not worry...your doggo is in good hands! I work from home and call my own hours (as does my wife) so as long as we know your dog's routine we will make sure to incorporate it into our own. We have a fenced-in yard and a walking path near our home so walks are never a problem (we love walks). My wife and I both work from home so one of us will always be giving your dog attention/supervision. We have previously owned dogs who were flight risks so we have been conditioned to keep an eye out, keep doors closed, etc. We have a big fenced-in yard and have a little indoor gate/fence that we use in the house if need be to secure a hallway, etc.
About: I am a recent graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine! Through my education, I have developed a strong foundation in animal behavior, welfare, health, nutrition, and safe handling practices. I have hands-on experience working with animals in both veterinary and pet care settings, caring for dogs and cats of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My background has taught me that while animals may not be able to speak, they communicate in many ways through their body language, behaviors, and individual personalities. While availability may vary, I welcome last-minute requests whenever possible, as I understand that life can be unpredictable and plans can change. Trust and safety are my top priorities at all times when caring for pets. My background in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and hands-on animal care has taught me the importance of proper handling, observing behavior, and promoting animal welfare. I understand that even the calmest animals are guided by instincts and may respond differently depending on their environment and comfort level. Approaching each pet with patience, respect, and awareness is essential to building trust and helping them feel safe and comfortable. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would want for my own pets. I am happy to follow all instructions regarding feeding, medication administration, exercise, enrichment, and any specific routines your pet follows. I welcome as much detail as you would like to provide, as understanding your pet's individual needs helps me provide the best possible care.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and personalities for years. Family, friends, and neighbors often rely on me for walking, feeding, playing, and giving their pets lots of love and attention. I treat every dog like my own. I work part-time Monday through Friday from 3–8 PM, which gives me plenty of time earlier in the day and on weekends to care for your pets. I’m flexible, reliable, and able to fit pet care smoothly into my weekly routine. I have one friendly dog and a house with a fenced backyard that gives pups lots of space to run and play. I have empathy for those who having to leave their animals so safety is a top priority for me when pet sitting. I will always use a leash when on walks and at home if there is no fenced in yard available. Also would like to know if the pet has any special instructions and their likes/ dislikes.
About: Extremely flexible! I'm experienced in taking care of cats, dogs, turtles, bearded dragons, and fish. I would love to give your furbaby the best care possible! I am a recent graduate from the University of Delaware. My schedule is pretty flexible this summer, I am extremely communicative & love to care for pets. I live with 2 dogs & 2 cats. The cats & dogs are separated. I am very patient with animals! I am also extremely diligent with their care such as cleaning food/water bowls, scooping poop, changing pee pads, following feeding/medication schedule, and playing with animals.

About: I have pets of my own. I have owned cats, dogs and and small animals too. Currently I have one dog and his name is Max. There were plenty of times in my neighborhood that dogs will get out and I would take care of them until they are safe with their owner. I also have a years experience in dog walking I am a full time student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am home most of the time but as for my schedule I have classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 11-2. Tuesday/Thursday 9:30-12:30. Currently I do not live with my dog so I can provide more one on one attention to the animal I am taking care of. My apartment is very spacious for the animal to play with toys, do tricks etc. Also I love to be out doors and go to Mack park. I have transportation so that shouldn’t be an issue.
About: I have had 3 dogs growing up so use to handling multiple at one time. Also my shih tzu that passed had severe skin allergies so I have experience with medical baths and diets. I work from home 3 days a week so home all day MWF, Tuesdays and Thursdays I am in the office but only a 10 min drive away and can walk them during lunch and be back home with your doggo before dinner! I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks and a park, personally have a well sized yard and back deck for lots of outdoor fun! Currently I own 2 guniea pigs but they’re quiet and kept on an elevated surface no dog has been bothered by them before. Lots of toys and 2 beds here to play with but encourage to bring your pet’s favorites here as well.

“I would highly recommend Jen! I have basically never left my dog at home alone. I chose to have Jen watch him since I didn’t want to leave my dog for the first time at home for 8 hours or more. I had a good feeling about her. She was on time, ready, and happy to take my dog. In talking to Jen I could tell that she has experience with dogs and that she loves them! She reassured me when I left him with her and let me know what she had planned. Jen took pictures during their walk and at the park. She sent me pictures throughout the afternoon and evening. My dog was happy and not anxious at all. When I came to pick him up she was already downstairs with my dog and his things in hand. He was very happy. About: I’ve worked in the pet industry for 6 years. From working in pet stores, to grooming facilities, and pet sitting, I’ve done almost all there is to do! I love all animals and have a chihuahua of my own named Chino! I do rover, Doordash, and other gig work as my main source of income, so I set my own schedule! If you choose me to take care of your pet, I will clear my schedule to ensure they’re getting love and care the whole time! I have a spacious townhome that opens up to a very large greenbelt with no other dogs on my row, so there is plenty of space for your pet to use the restroom, run around and play, etc. I have a friendly chihuahua named Chino who loves making friends and likes any and all animals he meets!

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay.
