About: Hi there! My name is Jamiah, but feel free to call me by my nickname, Mia! I started building my pet care business in 2017. Now in 2025, I work at a non profit as a Communications & Marketing Specialist. While I took time away from Rover to start my career, my heart is calling me back to my ultimate passion-providing high quality care and comfort for all furry friends, while meeting fantastic like-minded people along the way! My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. About: Like most people on this app, I love all animals. I grew up on a farm and currently have a dog of my own (his name is Colby 🐶). Over the years my family and I have fostered both cats and dogs ranging from 2 months old to 10 years old. I have also previously worked at different animal shelters. At the moment I am out of school and out of work so I am at home for most the day. I enjoy this though because it gives me time to take care of my pup I have a fenced in yard and a huge basket filled with fun and challenging toys! I make sure to give my dog a potty break at least every 2 hours but when it’s nice out, I leave the door open. My pup goes for walks 2-4 times a day depending on the weather and how I think my dog is feeling.

About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.

About: I’ve been around and owned dogs my whole life and have gained an unconditional love for them. Your dog will be in great hands, that is a guarantee. Dogs will get the proper love and care that is needed. Your pooch will always be played with, fed, walked and pampered to the max with me. I get just as excited to see a dog as a dog would be to see me, so our energies together will make for one exciting day in the park, a run, or just even a leaisurely stroll around the neighborhood.
