About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life and have spent most of my adult life volunteering for 2 animal rescue organizations. I fostered over 170 cats for my last organization (that was over a period of 15 years!) caring for all ages as well as taking in some with medical needs. I'm skilled at administering medications of all sorts and we currently have an asthmatic cat that takes an inhaler. I've been a "cat person" my whole life, but love dogs too! My husband and I love the large breeds, in particular Mastiffs. We currently have 3 cats plus a Mastiff who is the biggest baby. :-) We recently moved to Delaware (from just outside of DC) and I'm looking to re-start pet sitting as I LOVE meeting new furbabies and taking care of them. I used to pet sit in VA but put it to the side when fostering took up most of my free time. I recently took an early retirement and have plenty of free time so can offer flexibility. Since I'm married my husband helps takes care of our own cats/dog, and he understands my love of animals and desire to help others. With 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own, I totally get how much love our pets bring into our lives. As a dedicated pet owner and Animal Science student, pet care is already a major part of my daily routine! I care for my own 2 dogs and 3 cats every day, which includes feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and managing any health or behavioral needs. I naturally structure my schedule around animal care, and it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize. Whether it’s early morning feedings, mid-day walks, or evening cuddle sessions, caring for animals is second nature to me and I’m always happy to make space in my week to care for others’ pets with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in my own home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment that matches each animal’s personality and routine. In client homes, I always follow their care instructions closely whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys. I keep pets on their normal routines to reduce stress and make them feel comfortable while their owners are away. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is fresh, and they have a mix of playtime and quiet time, depending on their temperament. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection along with structured potty breaks and walks. I’m also experienced with senior pets and those needing medication or extra TLC. Whether I’m staying overnight, dropping in for visits, or out for a walk, I care for every pet like they’re my own attentively, gently, and with lots of love and respect!

About: I’ve worked in the pet industry for 6 years. From working in pet stores, to grooming facilities, and pet sitting, I’ve done almost all there is to do! I love all animals and have a chihuahua of my own named Chino! I do rover, Doordash, and other gig work as my main source of income, so I set my own schedule! If you choose me to take care of your pet, I will clear my schedule to ensure they’re getting love and care the whole time! I have a spacious townhome that opens up to a very large greenbelt with no other dogs on my row, so there is plenty of space for your pet to use the restroom, run around and play, etc. I have a friendly chihuahua named Chino who loves making friends and likes any and all animals he meets!

About: I’ve grown up in a home with dogs, and worked briefly in an animal shelter, caring for dogs from newborn puppies to seniors, responsible for their daily care and enrichment. My shifts are short and consistent, allowing me to have a concrete schedule to work around to best meet the needs of all types of pets. I have knowledge on animal enrichment and training for a variety of pets, to include dogs, cats, and birds, and know how to handle pets with all different temperaments. I try to pay special attention to the behavior of all pets to make sure I am meeting all of their needs.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and currently have one of my own! I am also a teacher, so I have plenty of experience providing a safe and caring environment! I am available Monday, Friday, or Saturday at anytime! On Sundays, I can be there anytime after 2. Wednesdays I can do anytime between 1:30 and 3:30 and Thursdays I can do anytime between 11 and 2! My own pup is spoiled! He has everything he could possibly want! He is honestly a couch potato, but we take him on walks and enjoy plenty of snuggles.

“Jen is absolutely the BEST petsitter you will ever experience. My cat is very high maintenance with her attitude and her massive hair (forest cat). Upon my arrival home kitty was calm, very content , and had an extensive grooming! My home was exceptionally clean with the removal of litter and cat food cans. Jen met me before the sitting dates and she was extremely knowledgeable . She has tons of common sense--- You will not need to give her pages of instruction. She GETS IT ! In addition, my plants were watered during this 94 degree weather , mail was placed neatly inside, and trash cans were taken to the curb . Photos are sent to you at each visit. About: I’ve always taken care of pets from the age of 10, whether my own or family and friends. I enjoy spending time with pets and make it my mission to fulfill their day with their needs and wants. My favorite part of getting to pet sit is the cuddles and play time of course as well as getting to know each and every pet’s personalities. I’m currently working part-time as well in school part-time, my availability for Tuesdays and Thursday are anytime from 2pm-10pm due to school. Friday and Saturday I am available anytime from 10am-8pm, plenty of time to play and cater to your pets!
