“Grace went above and beyond with watching our pups and even taking extra care of our fish in our pond. She is so amazing and was even willing to come back an extra time when our flight got cancelled. I would suggest highly recommend Grace!!”

“Maggie was awesome! She took the time to understand all of our instructions on the best ways to care for our pets, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions if she wasn’t sure about something. Excellent communication throughout the whole weekend with really good pictures! Maggie went above and beyond and I will definitely be working with her in the future!”

About: I have been raised with animals my entire life and I want to share that passion with others. I volunteer at a local shelter and have experience with different dog breeds and personalities. It is important to not only care for animals, but to love them and provide them enrichment. I enjoy cuddles, walks, play time and sharing company with all animals. I am currently a college student so I have a fluctuating but flexible schedule. Flexibility allows me to do what is necessary to care for pets and loved ones. I live with animals currently so pet care is already an everyday part of my regular routine. I believe in safety first. Leashes and harnesses must be available for animal and walker safety. I can adjust my care routines to any needs that are communicated to me and would love to play and spend quality time during my wellness visits.
About: Hey, pet parents! I’m a proud Animal Science student at Penn State with years of experience caring for all animals great and small including dogs, cats, horses, cows, and more! With 2 dogs and 3 cats of my own, I totally get how much love our pets bring into our lives. Whether your pup needs a walk or your cat needs cuddles, I bring knowledge, reliability, and lots of tail wags. I treat every animal like family because that’s exactly what they are! As a dedicated pet owner and Animal Science student, pet care is already a major part of my daily routine! I care for my own 2 dogs and 3 cats every day, which includes feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and managing any health or behavioral needs. I naturally structure my schedule around animal care, and it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize. Whether it’s early morning feedings, mid-day walks, or evening cuddle sessions, caring for animals is second nature to me and I’m always happy to make space in my week to care for others’ pets with the same love and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in my own home or a client’s, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment that matches each animal’s personality and routine. In client homes, I always follow their care instructions closely whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys. I keep pets on their normal routines to reduce stress and make them feel comfortable while their owners are away. For cats, I make sure litter boxes are clean, water is fresh, and they have a mix of playtime and quiet time, depending on their temperament. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection along with structured potty breaks and walks. I’m also experienced with senior pets and those needing medication or extra TLC. Whether I’m staying overnight, dropping in for visits, or out for a walk, I care for every pet like they’re my own attentively, gently, and with lots of love and respect!
About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes and personalities for over five years. Neighbors, friends and family count on me to walk, feed, bathe and give their pets plenty of love and attention—keeping tails wagging and owners worry-free I'm currently working part-time from home , so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! ! I'm available for boarding anytime . I care for pets in their own home to keep them comfortable in a familiar space. I follow each owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, and playtime, and keep everything tidy and secure. I give plenty of affection, monitor water and food, and send regular updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and happy.
“Once again Jenna has taken amazing care of our sweet cat. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my baby. I love the peace of mind I get knowing he is loved and cared for while we are away.”

“River did an amazing job with our cat Jonny! She was super flexible, and even added a few extra days to his care upon request! Jonny loved hanging out with her during their visits as well!”

“Brice did a fantastic job taking care of our Hazel! She was prompt. Made sure she was fully taken care of. Was very thorough with photos and reviews and overall we had a great experience. We would definitely book again!”

“Shirl is absolutely amazing! She took excellent care of our dogs while we were on vacation! Her love of animals was immediately evident when we met her and it was verified during our trip! She took amazing care of our dogs and our home! She sent diligent updates and pictures, followed all requests to the letter, and even brought in a package for us!! We now have our go to dog sitter!! You will not be disappointed!”

“Love the photos! This was our first time using anyone for a pop in visit. This was totally last minute! Asked Paul and his fiance last night at 7pm to please help us, and without hesitation they came right over and met our boys. They did a pop in visit today and they were wonderful!!! Will definitely use them again :) They were great!!!! Thank you both so much !”

About: At the age of 12 I was caring for animals working on a farm for a traveling petting zoo. I also had cats and dogs at home. In my 20's I volunteered at a local shelter where I adopted my first Pittie. I now have two Bulldogs a mom and son duo and a Fiesty but loving Sphynx Cat. I have availability early morning, during lunch , after 5pm , and before bed time Monday through Friday. On Weekends my time is more flexible I will treat your animals no different then I treat my own. They will be my buddies during your time away. I will send photos and updates each night.
“Erikah is an amazing sitter this is our second time that she has watched our pet for about a week both times. She treats our dog like her own, she responds quick and was even able to alter some of the times when we needed. We leave knowing she puts her best foot forward in caring for our pet with her fabulous communication, being prompltly on time, and her love for animals.”

About: I grew up taking care of our Newfoundland from a puppy. I was his primary caretaker for brushing him, walking him, and feeding him. When I moved out, I helped my parents take care of him until he passed a few years ago from arthritis in his hips. Since I moved out, I adopted two cats from the shelter. I recognize that our animals are part of our families. I follow directions and schedules well, and will strive to provide the best care for your furry family members. I work 7am-3:30pm Mondays through Fridays, so I’m primarily available in the evenings during weekdays. I’m fully available on weekends for pet care. I also have most/federal holidays off, so I will be able to work long weekends. I will use whatever supplies that you have and your pet prefers. I will not bring anything else without your permission. I will make sure to follow directions and schedules as closely as possible, and keep you informed of how your pet is doing.
“Violeta has been absolutely amazing with my toy poodle, Bentley. She is reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about him. As someone who works long hours, having someone I trust completely with my little guy means everything. Violeta always keeps me updated, makes time for Bentley, and treats him with so much love and attention. It’s clear that she truly enjoys what she does, and Bentley is always happy to see her. Knowing he’s in such caring hands gives me tremendous peace of mind while I’m at work. I honestly couldn’t do this without her, and I’m so grateful for everything she does for Bentley. I highly recommend Violeta to anyone looking for a dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy person to care for their pet! 🐾❤️”

“Thank you again for the excellent care you provided to my little guy, Kyrie! He loves having you here with him. And I love seeing the pictures of him. I never feel worried when I leave because I know he is being well cared for and is busy getting belly rubs!”

About: I have taken care of many animals and give the best care I can while sharing pictures and updates to the owner. I can work with food motivated animals to do simple tricks. I am starting college shortly but I still will dedicate as much time as I can to taking care of animals. Breaks and days I don't have classes will be for anyone needing pet care! I have a car and can go to clients' houses and take care of their pets, as I have done often for friends and neighbors. I have a partially fenced yard for leashed play. I am in a house under construction but the top floor is finished and houses my two kittens. Calmer dogs would be better if coming into my house, otherwise I am able to care for any size or personality in the owners house.
“Tracey is great and our kitties were so happy! She was pleasant to work with, trustworthy and very thorough. Daisy especially loved all of the hairbrushing time! We are very thankful to have someone we can trust with our babies and will definitely ask Tracey to come back for more visits with Daisy and Rose!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Glasgow. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
